Random thought that may have been addressed before, but I've been unable to find... Every winter I seem to get an antibiotic prescription for some malady. The prescription runs for about 2 weeks, but after 4-6 days I'm past the contagious part and feeling perfectly fine. So, does this provide a limited immunity to STD's that the doctor would prescribe an antibiotic to treat?
Maybe yes and maybe no. Some broad spectrum antibiotics can provide protection from some STDs. Since the antibiotic was not proscribed to treat a specific STD its a pure crap shoot.
In any event you are best served by taking full precautions as if you were not medicated.
