This question is specifically to provider's. What are some of the reasons given, by a hobbiest, why you should lower your donation rate for him/her?

This is not a question about why you should or should not, or for hobbiest to justify why they do or don't ask. I'm just looking for the words that actually come out of the hobbiest's mouth.

Truthfully I think that he is looking for lines to use himself. Can't think of any other reason to post this self-serving bullshit.

Since 4 of the 15 posts to my original post were from women, and I wanted to know more about the issue from a woman's perspective, I thought I would repost, thinking that perhaps I had not asked the question clearly enough. It's really that simple.

But, I'm confused about how my question to the ladies gets flamed by the guys.

I'm not certain how helpful the question is to providers or hobbiests. I wasn't aware that that was one of the conditions to post.

On that note, I'm not too certain how helpful the recent post on "A Song for the Ages" was.

1.  The song post wasn't on the same page as TWO other song posts, and

2.  What could possibly make you think that asking a third time will get you a different result than the first two times?  Implying that you had to clarify  the question is insulting to the ladies' intelligence.

The subject is lame anyway.  We're talking about how pathetic losers try to bargain shop getting laid.

This is not a flame, this is just a plea to Please Give It A Rest.

I couldn't care less as I ignore all such requests anyway, not that I get many.  I focus on something more productive.  Same goes for reasons for canceling appointments.

I think you should post this everyday for the next year.  There might be a provider out there with your perfect answer, and she may only check in on this discussion board once a year.  Then the two of you can get together and plan out an affordable life, clipping coupons and sending mail-in rebates.  When your love for all things discounted blossoms into a long term savings bond romance, you can get married at a Vegas Chapel, but not inside the Chapel.  Instead tie the knot out by the dumpster in the parking lot by a hobo minister assisted by his crippled dog "lipstick".  Should the stork smile upon you and bring you a bundle of joy in the future, make sure its a thrifty child.  Otherwise go with an abortion.

1. I do not understand your first point.

2. The original question was, "Is anyone else tired of guys trying to get ladies to lower their rate?" And, it was not so much a question but an opportunity for the poster to get something "off my chest." If you read my two posts, that is not my question, nor my intent.

3. I'm not trying to insult the ladies, but rather make it clear that it is their input I am seeking. I apologize to all the ladies if I have insulted their sensibilities, truly.

4. And, I'm quite open to receiving feedback, from them, indicating that whether or not my question is inappropriate.

5. If I receive no response, I will take that to mean none of them is interested in asnwering the question.

6. In that case, I promise there will not be a third post.

We are all anonymous.  I am not moderating, or I would have eradicated your post with the push of a button, but, since I do not have that power (thank God), I can only offer my opinion, which I did.

Since no provider has responded directly to your Donation Lowering Redux post since it's inception, I hope you will fulfill your pledge to not post it again.  

The lady of your dreams may only turn on her computer once a year to save on the electricity bill.  She's out there wondering where you are and how thin is your wallet.  Its your right to free speech, only at least discounted speech.

Clerk:  Well, in that case, that'll be $2.50 per pound sir, how much would you like?

I have a lot of provider friends who are appauled with this very subject. One in a BBW who has tons of guys telling her that because she does not look as good as the typical girl charging her rate of $300, that she should in fact lower her rates. On the other hand, I know a few HDH type girls charging MORE than girls that look better and provide more activities.

It really is THIS SIMPLE...either pay what the girl requests or move along and find one for cheap. Then you can come back and write a review that the cheaper girl disappointed you and put her down too!  

I could not see any provider wanting to see you knowing your POV on this subject...let alone your take on leaving a tip if they give you the FULL hour.

That's one of my favorites.  Another that's definitely in my top 5 is from "Elvira, Mistress of the Dark."  She had just hit her head on something and someone asked her how her head was.  Without missing a beat, she said "I haven't had any complaints, yet."

Just wanting to compare your experience with my experience regarding what some people say so as to get me to reduce my rate for my services. For me, I experience people espousing hardship, one reason or another regarding entitlement, or outright expressions of devaluation. I'm just wondering if you have experiencd some of the same expressions of hardship, entitlement or devaluation. However, I can understand if you don't want to spend much time thinking about it. Thank you for your response. By the way, I can see why you don't get many guys trying to talk you down.

I think the point is that they're tired of essentially the same post in a matter of days.

I think that any valuable answers you were going to get were already posted, but reposting it and asking for only the ladies' pov isn't going to change the lack of those ladies that didn't want to respond or the men jumping in as well.
