While I was on vacation for Christmas I got back to see my X profile was suspended. I appealed and did receive a response. X is now removing all profiles that are "sexual in nature OR may be providing illegal services".  
Obviously disappointed. X is a private business and does have the right to pick and choose who can be on their site, but doing a clean sweep like this I am not sure how is going to improve the site. Elon started with X indicating he was in full support of "free speech", but seems to now be a bit wishy washy on the "free speech" he is OK with.  
Not sure if I will just move to bluesky or what the future will hold. I am also not sure what advice to give sex workers to keep your X profile up and running at this point. Everything you want to post for clients to find you seems to now be against the X rules. What will 2026 hold for sex workers and social media?

what triggers removal?  "Sexual in nature" can cast a wide net.  As can "may be" providing illegal services.

I am assuming (guessing!!) that X was being taken over by the fake sex worker files that were very explicit and X just decided to get rid of everything sexual in nature at this time.  
And as most sex workers already know there is nothing on the federal level making sex work illegal and the laws vary greatly by state as to what is illegal and what is not. I live in WI where it is illegal to exchange "sex acts for money or anything of value". It is NOT illegal in WI to be an escort (pay someone just for their time) or to be a dominatrix, which is what I advertise. Porn is also legal and so is being a sex worker at a licensed brothel in NV, but I don't get the impression they are getting a pass either in this purge. Again, this is just my guess, if anyone received any more info please post. I did request a refund for my blue checkmark but doubtful at this point I will be getting that back either.

Yes, you are correct. If you are "transporting someone over states line to engage in immoral sexual behavior" this is in fact illegal under the Mann Act. The Mann Act was originally written into law to prevent white women from becoming sex slaves (other races were not really a concern, of course). It is a very broad law when it comes to interpretation and usually only used for prosecute high profile people but yes, FMTY options could get you into hot water if the feds want to prosecute.

It’s not just the Mann Act. There are a number of sex trafficking laws that are written pretty broadly. I’m not a lawyer, but from what I’ve read,  arranging transportation is illegal under federal anti-trafficking laws. It seemed like simply arranging an Uber for a lady could get you in trouble. FMTY and DMTY also seemed to be covered. Either way, it makes me a bit hesitant to arrange one.

I won't post who the provider is but her initials are CS, she's been around for a long time and has a lot of issue with her reputation.  

I've been a lawyer for a minute or two. We can debate until the cows come home whether these acts are crimes, and there are good arguments on both sides of the issue. Here's the real answer: IF the government decides to prosecute someone for a crime like this that person will spend a substantial portion of their wealth trying to stay out of jail and win an acquittal, will have their name and reputation dragged through the mud in the press and their community, and the ultimate determination of the outcome will rest with a federal judge and/or a jury of 6 or 12 jurors depending on the jurisdiction. It's not a small risk.
