Am Newbie. Maybe this isn't the place to post but please cut slack. What is the avg. age of hobbyist? Not ancient and not looking for a BLG but feel compelled to forwarn no spring chicken. Should I do that? Suggestions?

If you are contacting a lady for the first time, ask her if she will see your age group.

Some ladies will not see gents under 30.  It just depends on the lady's preference.

are older than dirt. Don't be the least bit concerned with your age. Just be a perfect gentleman, and you'll find that the ladies here will treat you like a king.

I think that a large percentage of the guys who post frequently are quite a ways over 40 and many, like me way over 50.  

Remember, just because a guy is a TER member,it doesn't mean he is an active hobbyist.  Many of the ladies who use this site will not see guys under 30 or 35.

I can only speak for myseolf.  Generally people have long term and deep friendships with people around their own age, so you can't judge.  The above post give you poll responses.  I am in my mid sixties.  My oldest hobbyist friend is 85, my youngest is in his late 40s. I have a friend in his early thirties who laughed when he saw that a provider arrested in Washington DC was 52. "Who would pay her,"  he asked.  I laughed to myself since one of the best providers I know is a lady in her early 60s. Generally providers have not cared about my age, but many are wary of young men.

there are many really hot Ladies here and else where in this biz who are well over 30 and several in their 40s and so on. (self included)I just turned 46, and feel pretty damn good.
Age is not always the deciding factor, although I don't see anyone under 37 myself.

Keep in mind, most ladies lower their age by 4-5 years when they put up ads or as listed on their web site.  I wish I would have found this hobby when I was younger.

one of my favorite providers keeps uping her age... heck, I think she is 29... why?  cause I added up the events in her life that I know of... and that is the minimal time that it would take to achieve those events or milestones... she says older...

heck.... one lady - after I made the appointment called me to say "well you do realize that I am older"  I was a bit flabergasted....   heck - I was attracted to her... even without her hot pictures... just what she had written on her web site did it... and I was truly not disappointed...!!!!!  She was hot.

Biggest disappointments... Hot young centerfold types - who lay there... did not move.. and as soon as a 1st cup was served... they were dressed and out the door.... yup...  gimme a hot woman any day.

maybe so but I am 46 as of Aug 3rd so there you have it...

I agree completely about providers' ages.  In general, older providers have provided better experiences for me.

I've found that women over forty seem to be the most satisfying... they don't yell, they don't tell, they don't swell, and they are grateful as hell.
