Hello. I'm a little confused on tipping. I'm sure it's been brought up many times on the discussion board but there's no easy search feature. Perhaps a provider or experienced hobbyist can help.
 First off, I'm absolutely more than happy to do it. But do you always do it? Or only when service is above and beyond what you imagined? What is the "normal" % tip? Also, do you put the tip amount bundled in the main envelope with the regular fee at the beginning of the session, or wait until the end? I just don't want it to be awkward for the provider or me.

More and more, your budget had become a factor. With the rise in rates, it's become harder to stay within budgets so I suspect tipping is less frequent than in the past. I brought up this topic a while back and it seemed most gents didn't tip.

Even though most of us do some eating at the start of a visit, there are no commonly accepted practices as in dining out. It's a personal thing.
 
On that note, I, personally, tend towards the "white-knight" end of tipping for the "peasant" girls. For lower rate girls in the $160-200 range, I tip in the neighborhood of 65-100%, in some cases as much as 250%. But 65% is the norm. However, when I'm already in it for five or six bills with a girl (midrange), less than 10% is more the norm.
 
With low-end girls, I show them the $100 tip up front, but leave it next to the bed and tell them "they have to earn it." Their faces usually light up. This way I'm pretty well assured I'm going to get from them the limits of what they'll offer. Not often, but not uncommon either, they exceed what I expected to be their limits and they get an additional tip at the end. The glitch here is that I can't recall ever taking back any part of the $100 on the bedstand.
 
Story: I just finished seeing a low-end girl who, in the end, not including material gifts, probably averaged 250% for each of my five visits. She was worth it! In my mind, she gave me everything I wanted and so deserved as much money as a midrange girl (the only thing missing was the looks/age -- she was an average MILF). I paid ~2K for what I could have had for less than 1K. This is key: I got service like I've never gotten from a midrange girls whose base rate would have been 2.5K. I'm the winner.
 
With the midrange escorts, I've had some pretty average/below average experiences, but almost always give them between 5-10% as I depart, sometimes wondering why I just did that. I sort of okay with paying them so much for just average performance because I'm paying them for the looks... and youth, if I'm completely honest. I've only been inspired to repeat with one midrange girl, and I missed the opportunity! I tried the $100 on the knight stand a couple times with midrangers and it didn't loosen them up a bit! Moving up to the 65% range with those girls ain't gonna happen.

I generally try to tip all workers. I don't think anyone gets paid enough for the work they do. Sex work is valuable and irreplaceable. You can cook at home if you don't want to tip a food worker. Having sex at home by your lonesome doesn't come anywhere close.  

25 % If the provider and I have a good time. I also always tip local providers a lot and do it every meeting for providers who give good service consistently. It seems to put me on top of there list as I am known person who is respectful and well paying from there view point. Many benefits to have a few great locals you are on good terms with.        

The norm/practice/standard is 100% tip.  

Everyone who has responded thinks a "normal tip" is somewhere between 0% and 100%!!!

I normally just send a small giftcard of something on their wishlist as a tip.

I tip 10-20% after the session, and if the provider exhibits bad attitude or tries some BS upsells I don’t tip. Even if I don’t plan to repeat, I’ll tip if the provider makes a legitimate effort.

I see mid-range girls exclusively ($500) and I am in the habit of tipping them $100 along with a little note or trinket included in the same envelope.  My hope of course, is that the cash and the trinket will make them feel good and maybe inspire them (selfish motivation).

Tips are appreciated, but not expected. I have had clients have it in the original envelope and I have also had gents leave it for me at the end of the session. Either is fine. If it is not going to be $50 or more though really don't bother. I had a guy tip me once a whole $8.00!!! and was gushing about how much fun he had and that he usually never tips. Thanks??? It was just really weird for me to take a $5 and 3 ones from him as he counted each bill from his wallet.

It's more respectful to put it all in the envelope. However on seeing a provider for the first time I always start off basic, and will  increase If I repeat.  
I don't  go by  percentage, I base  it on my discretion .

I could not stop laughing, because that's a damn  good one. Yes, people are that cheap. Actually  some have mendacity to really believe it's good money. I wanted to say you should just give it back to him, but you're  are a smart woman  - don't lose a client over something  that is not mandatory,

This American thing of tipping is silly other than for a minimum wage server not escorts.  Have never tipped, never a problem, never would.

If the session went well, I'll see them again whenever they return to town. But I've been known to send a GC afterwards for an exceptionally great session.  

...might be stepping outside of her comfort zone to please me. If a woman is inexperienced sexually with other women and is curious enough and brave enough to want to experiment with me I feel that she deserves something a bit extra. It's also a major turn on to watch a woman discover a part of herself that she might have been only thought about before but now has actually done it. Yummy :p

IMO, the concept that every Service Provider we encounter through our day should be tipped is nonsensical. There are time, places and people to tip - and not to tip.
