Got nailed in a police sting for soliciting a prostitute. What an eye opener. First off what a waste of tax dollars. Two consenting adults??? Please. Slammed in the media. That's total BS. How the girls are perceived is my biggest shock. Almost not human. Maybe cuz I'm a player I see another side. How I've been treated...by some condescending folks....well who cares. Come on I enjoy women! Different women. I seem to enjoy the no BS attitude of the girls I've got to know.  I made some friends and loved every minute. Thousands of dollars between bail and attorney. I would much rather of used that money to have some fun. FYI first mistake verify. I got lazy. TER was my fav verification method and I got lazy! My very first escort outside of a brothel told me how to do this safely and I got complacent. She was awesome. Going back to verify every time and I recommend you do the same. To the girls out there...thx for the great times even tho it can't be easy with some of the attitudes and misconceptions flying around. Keep up the good work!!!

They are too stupid to know the difference between coerced prostitution with pimps versus escorts on the other end who treat this more like a luxury escape.  Two different end of the spectrum. They should just go back to eating donuts.  

WTF does arresting a john accomplish anyway? Do they really think it's going to stop any of us from hobbying?  Stupid laws in this so-called land of the free need to be fixed.  

We're not so free after all, are we? We're bound my abusive ridiculous laws created by narrowminded people who are themselves hiring escorts while passing those laws.

to reinforce the lesson that danger lurks when you don't see the well reviewed gals here on TER.

If I might ask:

Could you give some specifics as to how your bust went down?  Details like that can be helpful.  What concerns me is that from your story, the gal and you both got set up, rather than she setting up you, which is more common.  Details as to where it happened and how can be quite useful to us.

The was part of the sting. I had a gut feeling at one point. The cops are chicken shit. This did nothing to make the world a better place. The best thing is to verify. There were a few clues. The fact that the room was at end the end of a hall with an exit door out the back. The fact that the girl kept asking if I wanted anal. She was trying to get me to ask for something. Never had an escort bug be to do certain things. Not that way. Don't get to that point. Just verify. Lazy pos cop sting. They accomplished nothing. Other than to waste time and money. Oh and ruin peoples lives. The girl was 35 so the brave little piggies must of felt they were arresting human traffickers and pedophiles. I am thinking the girl was not a cop. Could be wrong. I guess I'll find out at some point. Maybe when they release the evidence to my attorney and me. I've lost respect for our illustrious serving the public police force.

It's a sign of good mental health that you can be so casual about it.  I hope I'd be the same, but really hope I never get the chance to find out.  I have yet to let my guard down and really only see women I:
1) Already know.
2) Are well reviewed.
3) Are recommended by monger friends.

I too always follow your 3 rules. But I still had the crap scared out of me when a local hobbyist bulletin board was busted.  A bulletin board, for pete's sake, not even an agency or some other obvious form of evildoers.  The DA and media plastered this all over the local evening news for weeks, saying they were going after a notorious prostitution ring they had just busted.  One night they showed a cop pointing to a hand written chart with the various member's handles written large with circles and arrows showing all the interconnectedness.  My handle was one of them!  Well they never did arrest me and the arrests they did make were eventually thrown out of court by a fine judge who said a website is not a place of prostitution.  Of course a couple of fine gentlemen got their lives trashed in the process, and simply for hosting a site where people could freely express their opinions and stories about a subject they shared an interest in.  Now the DA is trying to get legislation passed in our State House which would make it a felony to talk about prostitution on a website!  I've met with local ACLU staff who are aware of this pernicious legislation and have been working quietly and effectively for years behind the scenes to get the bill quashed before it comes to a vote.  If you don't already donate money to the ACLU you might consider it.  They're the only institution out there seriously fighting for our civil rights.  And to the OP, dude I really sympathize with your situation.  Keep us posted.  We'll try to provide moral support.

Police chiefs, prosecutors, DAs and the street units all know this.  The pretty pictures of human trafficking are just window dressing.  Does that POS the counter guy at McDonalds hands you ever really look like the picture?   Did you know that very few human trafficking arrests involve the sex trade?  It all about clothing and farm work.  But, hey if they told you that, vice units would be defunded and defense. attorneys would be handing out shit at McDonalds.

Thank you for playing.  BTW, since this is your first post on the GD, I take it this is your new handle.  Or should we be assuming the worst, which is how we all stay safe.
