I know.  You liked that "bobbing for balls" line!   LOL

You had stated your distaste for it. Got it.
But, why harp on the subject (not to mention point someone out)?Your oppinion was heard and you recieved feedback.Isn't it time to move on?

Slow day?

No one has answered that???   There are now a plethora of  inane rules about guys shilling for providers. Will the rules also apply to Ladies shilling for other gals?   Got an answer Tylor4you?  NO- you don't, so please shut your pie hole.

Commenting on a providers ad post does not constitute a "shill post".

Come up with a better example if you insist on continuing this subject. I don't think too many people really give a shit, myself included. It is a free country however, so feel free to knock yourself out.

Then, maybe we can all sample the goods, both providers and hobbiests, and shill for everyone. ;) I know. I know. I'm such a smart ass, but what a fun idea.  Honestly, people, who cares who shills for whom? If someone rocked your boat, then tell us you'll post a review of her. Inquiring minds want to know.

I've never had a problem with men shilling for women or women complimenting one another. I only disliked it when men were getting paid to shill for agency lades and then ditched on the rest of the ladies (trying to damage other's reputations) for not giving them freebies or discounts, then attempted to run us off the boards. Now that's sleezy, self-serving and mob-like tactics. Total pimping in my book! I eventually learned to bypass their messages and hoped they at least posted pics of really hot chicks. Hey! Where are the dick pictures, though, Fuzzy?

Hugs,
Ciara

The one you linked was a reply, which I thought was OK

No it is not considered a shill post because it is attached to her AD POST.

A Shill Thread is a thread that is started with a post that is praise, thanks, or a recommendation for a certain provider for reasons of self-interest, personal benefit, or out of friendship or loyalty. PAY ATTENTION STARTING HERE -------->>>>>> Starting a NEW thread with a Shill Post is not allowed by TER because such threads are considered extra "advertising" above and beyond what each provider is allowed each week.

Shill Threads are not allowed, and will be removed.

Mini-Reviews posted according to the Posting Guidelines are not considered to be Shill Posts.

AND HERE ------>>>>>>Responses to a current thread that refers to a provider with positive comments about that provider is okay, as long as the comment is pertinent to the topic at hand.

What a wonderful, intelligent, sexy (guessing on this part since I don't know who you are, lol)board admin you are since I didn't start the post?

Don't ya just hate the haters???

Kari

It's just his way of bashing me yet again and I am seriously getting sick of it.    Why he is allowed to this time and time again is beyond me.  If you are going to harp on everyone else following the rules, maybe Mr Fuzzy should learn to follow them himself.

Just my .02 worth.

To everyone else....I had nothing to do with CurvyCloe's "shill" .

Hugs, Belinda

As I have said several times, though, a couple of people on here seem to have special priveleges.

Like most of the guys on this board, I could give a shit. This is a business, so it should be called a "warm lead", or how about "demand creation"? I don't know how many times alliance partners used to shill (oops provide a warm lead)for the company I used to work for.

1) advertising in a socially unacceptable manner
2) as a pejorative word for praise that you wish hadn't happened

under the rules as oulined by BoardAdmin it is pretty clear that the usage here is the 2nd one.

Not to worry.....

Oh, sorry to hit the post button before completing the edits.

You call that a shill?? You mean women aren't supposed to say nice things to one another? What - are we supposed to claw each other's eyes out??

Just FYI - I think CiaraPhx is the hottest thing since sliced bread. No reason to think that, I just think she is the BOMB and she's got oodles of brains to go with those good looks. Am I not allowed to say what I think? Is there anything in what I just wrote that encourages gentlemen to see her, or to choose her over some other provider that they were perhaps considering?

Seriously, you really need to find something better to do with your time. Maybe you should consider a hobby or something. Just not this one. I'm not sure you are suited for it.

Ciara IS a total hottie I have to agree with that one.
I am not sure but i think I am ok here too...just agreeing with the obvious.

i think Ciara is totally hot and so are you two girls.

so shill out, OP! ;-)

The alias of the "W.h.o.r.e_Next_Door" received a severe attack yesterday for asserting his opinion regarding the posting behavior of providers.

I would like to comment, from a hobbyists' perspective, on a few of the missed points underlying that concern.

One.) The most obvious reason unnecessary messages should not be placed under a provider's weekly advertisement (or other message threads) on a regional board is that it will force those messages to sink quickly down the first page of the board.  Providers are frustrated when their advertisements fall off of the first page.  Filling the board -- with what are simply text messages -- does affect the flow of valuable information between hobbyists and providers.

Two.) I do not believe that the average hobbyist is interested in whether or not a provider finds another provider's images compelling.  If another provider is that attractive, please book (and donate) your own session with her.  From my own experience, providers really appreciate compliments from other providers.  Therefore, a substantive e-mail message from one provider to the next containing such sentiments would be far more valuable than a simple sentence on a public discussion board.

Three.) A careful examination of the "Top 10 Posters" list indicates that each of the handles are hyperlinked.  A highlighted hobbyists' handle takes an individual directly to their review history.  A highlighted providers' handle takes an individual nowhere (because they do not have reviews).  Essentially, the "Top 10 Posters" list must have been intended for hobbyists.  If the list is to remain a useful tool, the highlighted handle of a provider should lead to her profile.

Although there are numerous reasons why unncecessary messages should be avoided, the three reasons listed above are really important.

Finally, the resistance by some hobbyists to simple messages on discussion boards may be generational in nature.  For the most part, providers are younger than hobbyists.  Young people have been text messaging their friends for some period of time.  It only makes sense that such behavior would be mirrored on The Erotic Review.

I'm pretty sure replying something underneath a providers post doesn't sink their ad.  Only puting up a separate ad will do that.

Threads on a page regardless of how many replies are on each OP's thread . I believe the number is 25 .Just thought I would clear that up:)
