I love to dance, although I don't think I'm very good at it; but love, love to learn new things and always willing.
And I absolutely love the music associated with ballroom dancing.
Thanks for this post JG!
I got my first lessons in ballroom dance back in the mid 1980's -- courtesy of the taxpayers.
While I am not especially good at it, every few years I take a few refresher classes because, for whatever reason, I have never managed to have an S.O. who was either into it or whatnot. Still, it's a skill I like to maintain.
Anyway -- I like dance generally and dance as an art form.
Well, today I went to just an amazing demonstration of choreography in a variety of genres -- ballet, tap, jazz, mixed, ballroom and even hip hop. I absolutely loved it.
So -- what I am wondering, just out of pure curiosity, is how many providers out there have undertaken training in dance and ow many hobbyists out there enjoy dancing either as a direct activity or as an observed artform?
I love to dance, although I have not had any training. As soon as I find myself flush again, I am going to take some lessons. I think ballroom would be the place to start. Do you find yourself lost in the music sometimes? Sometimes, it seems as if my body anticipates the next note, even though I do not know the song. I love that feeling!
Alright. I can understand your fucked up ass going off on me.
But Johngaltnh?
WTF did he ever do to anyone?!
Fuck you, you fucking fuck!
John's the shit!
Kiss my fucking ass, suck my fucking dick, and just basically go fuck yourself!!!

NO, I cannot "fucking dig?!!!". Don't dig anything about your fucking fucker, fuck you or any other combinations of FUCK you spew out.

There are few things on this planet sexier than a woman doing the tango in high heels!

Growing up in a fashion minded family my mother
always had a nice pair of shoes and I grew up
around the peep toe and classic pump , the cork wedge stacks and candys sandles with the 4" heel.
Every payday was dance night and the girls and
I would get in our sexiest wardrobe and after a
good work out at the gym nothing accentuated our
bulging calves better than a pair of stilettos.
Well it's something that I never changed much
except keeping the right style in my wardrobe.
Dancing isn't dancing without that sexy heel on
a dance floor.
that any lady I am serious about in my personal like know how to Tango, or *learn*....
In the early 80's i could keep up with the likes of Billy Idol and Adam Ant.
What? Not the type of dancing you were referring to? LOL
Goody Two, Goody Goody Two shoes!!! lol
It was time for him to suffer for MY fun!
at parties back in junior high school days.
As erotic activites go, dancing is right up there.
Thanks for the nice memories this brings back JG.
Someone told me a long time ago that all dance is foreplay and I think they are right.
I studied ballet for a few years when I was a young man. A friend of mine talked me into it so he wouldn't be alone but I very quickly found out that I had a little talent and I really enjoyed it. I also found out very quickly that dance is hard work!!
For me, there's not much sexier than watching a pretty woman who knows how to dance.
Tango is and will remain my foremost favorite, and one day I would like to pick up Argentinean style tango. Jitterbug is a close runner up though. I never cared for Foxtrot (the weird dancing at angles and stuff always threw me), and Waltzing I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with.
The problem with dance is the need for a consistent partner, and my impatience at taking on an utter novice (usually because men are less interested in truly learning the actual art, and more interested in using it as their way of trying to get their proverbial foot in the door on the way to my bed, which is just plain manipulative and creates less than seriously committed dance partners).
I took a workshop in Flamenco a few years ago, however, and it seems to be the best of all worlds. It's both tribal and Latin, it's sexy as hell, and I get to do it without relying on a partner. Now if I could only stay in Chicago for a long enough chunk of time to take the 6-8 week courses....
I can't stand dealing with gravid females for dance classes. Either they are afraid you are gonna grope them and treat you like a pariah; or they hate you because you won't. LOL
I have found a perfect solution. I show up alone to a group class. If I happen to be the odd man, I end up with one of the instructors as a dance partner. If not, I get a random female who KNOWS she was random.
Problem solved.
I had a great experience, recently, at a nightclub in Hong Kong. A lot of beautiful women teaching me how to dance, wow. That's a night forever etched in my memory. I wish I could find some place, closer to home, to replicate that experience.
