I rejoined TER so I could see reviews of the body rub girls I was thinking about.

Reviews (by legitimate reviewers) have always been critical to booking, and should go without saying.

Your reviews appear to be stellar.

Without a detailed profile and review(s), a client has ZERO assurance what services he is paying hundreds (or thousands) of dollars for. With a TER profile and review(s), a client knows exactly what to expect and can book with "Assurance".

Taking a look at this from the opposite direction, you could be a very well-known provider with ads everywhere, a twitter account, yada, yada. Unfortunately, none of that tells me what a profile or review does - what I can expect in terms of service when we meet. It may show that you are legit and well-known, but well-known does not assure anyone that they will be getting the services and experience they are expecting when they book.

Imagine you are planning to book a companion. You have two choices, both are $1500. One companion is "well-known"; she has twitter, ads everywhere. You just don't know what services she offers and what an experience with her is like.
The other companion has a TER profile and reviews. You know what she offers and how she treats her clients.  Who will you book? Where will you put your $1500 in "fun time" money?

Profiles and reviews give gals the competitive edge against the unreviewed companion, IMO. The risk/reward decision for the conservative client is obvious.

someone I know well, then I don't bother to take the chance.

There was just one other provider I contacted without reviews, but she was posting heavily on TER, and we carried on an email correspondence, so I felt OK seeing her.

Reviews are very important.  I understand many companions do not like them.  But how else can clients make informed decisions?  It's that simple.  Of course we do not want to get ripped off, but just as importantly, some common sense vetting ahead of time helps assure it is a positive experience for both client and companion.

When I'm booking a hour or longer gfe session I only book with ladies who have [1] multiple positive TER reviews from solid reviewers (gents who have a long and diverse review history), or [2] a single positive TER review from a gent whose reviews I've relied on before with good results.
.
When I'm booking a QV or bng session I occasionally take chances on non-TER reviewed providers if they're super convenient to my location and have a solid posting history in that area, or if they have positive reviews on another site. I've been burned a couple times doing this but it's usually a very low donation so I'm not that worried about it.

I don't care how long a provider has been in the business, if they don't have a current review history showing consistency in appearance, performance, and service, I will not even think about booking them.

IMO, a delisted provider is in the same category as a provider with no current reviews, no matter how many past reviews they had prior to being delisted.

We really don't want to waste our money, and time, with a situation that has no possibility of taking care or what we are looking for.  (Whatever that is).  So a review gives the reader at least an idea of the possibilities.  You can tell a good reviewer from a bad reviewer, the track record usually speaks for itself.  So I don't think that an awesome provider getting a bad review is necessarily a terrible thing.  It's when many reviews talk about the same issues that things get difficult.

Not everyone vibes either.  That just happens, and I don't think that hurts a provider.  If a provider doesn't want to provide good service, for whatever reason, to most of her clients, that is a problem.

Knowing more helps everyone in my opinion, except the person who wants the money but doesn't actually want to provide.

95% of my sessions are with providers with 10+ reviews, preferably 20! This is enough to throw out shills, and other related reviews and get a realistic sense of the provider’s personality, menu, body type and general sexiness. I risk low reviewed sessions based on advice of a few bookers or other trusted sources.

When a guy is searching for a provider, he'll peruse the TER profiles for someone who meets the criteria he's looking for.   If she does, he'll check out her reviews.  Therefore, it's very important that a provider's TER profile be accurate so he doesn't go on a wild goose chase.

Let's take your profile for example.  It lists your breasts as being "DD" but the field for Breast Implants says "Don't Know" (as of this posting).  There are hobbyists who like "DD" cups but can't stand implants.  They may read your reviews and book an appointment with you and then be disappointed because you actually do have implants according to your P411 profile.

That's why it's important to do Problem Reports in order to correct providers' profiles and make TER profiles as accurate as possible.  Your profile will be corrected to accurately reflect that you DO have breast implants.  Maybe you will attract more guys who prefer providers with breast implants rather than "Don't Know."

First to establish legitimacy. I like to see that a lady has met at least a couple of players with multiple reviews. A lady with one review by a one-time reviewer? Nah.

Second to establish that she offers what I’m looking for. For example, countless ladies’ profiles say “truly bi”; but only by looking through some reviews can I determine whether that’s accurate.

Third to get some sense of what to expect by way of demeanor, looks and performance.  Yes we men are all over the map as to what constitutes “beautiful”, but weight gain, quality of an incall setting and engagement vs. distance are usually easy to suss out across multiple reviews.

Hope this helps.

There are some websites where you can afford to TOFTT.  But when you get to car payment territory (400 and up) I will not see a provider if she doesn't have TER reviews.  I'm not a high roller, but nobody wants to get ripped off, and it seems to be alot of that going around these days.  For example, there is what I consider a top tier provider that advertises and she also has reviews, however her reviews indicate that the client is only allowed to pop once during sex, a second pop is allowed but only through masturbation.  That's a hard no for me, for 1K plus, that is something that is definitely something that I need to know before making that decision. That being said, it's not just simply that she has reviews, but the quality of her reviews.

I've found that I depend on reviews, but only from certain reviewers.  I scheduled  a visit with a provider who was given mostly 7s and 8s, and based my decision to see her based on those reviews.  She opened the door and I'm looking at a  woman of 60 plus years old with bad teeth. I no longer trust the reviews of people that gave her high numbers.  I reviewed that provider here after the visit, but it was taken down after she complained.  There was nothing nasty about my review, just described what I saw.

I, personally, dislike leaving reviews about intimate acts behind closed doors.
That's why I don't go into graphic detail, and use the flowery euphemisms popular in '70 romance novels ..

That being said, reviews are important, especially from known, credible reviewers.
There's too many bad actors in the field, the cardinal sin being advertising X, but then not delivering ..

As other punters have mentioned, I've shrunk my patronage to a list of reputable agencies who protect their brand by enforcing discipline and standards across the board.

I will occasionally take a low-cost flutter with a random 10-day house, and write about it here, "inform, educate and entertain"  as the BBC motto goes...

Reviews got me to try this "hobby".

My view of working ladies was based on a stereotype - cold, uncaring, no passion/affection. I guess that applies to street walkers but I thought otherwise. My feeling was "why would I pay for that - I'd rather do it myself.

After reading reviews I learned what GFE was and I had to experience it. If it wasn't for reviews I wouldn't have met so many amazing ladies.

As some others have said at this point I don't need gritty details but I like to get a good idea of what I'm in for if I meet a new lady.

Providers insist on screening us, reviews are our way of screening them. I don't see anyone unless they are reviewed on TER.

If a provider has a no review policy but also requires screening it is a huge red flag for me.

I do a lot of recon before I book with an provider I haven't seen before.  The risks of not doing recon are simply too high and the most available recon are her reviews, from multiple sources.  I don't want to get ripped off, walk into a sting, be disappointed that her ads describe activities that aren't available or are activities that she asks an up-charge for, etc.

As mentioned by someone above, providers want to screen us, and her reviews are the only viable way for us to screen her.  I don't review every gal I see, but I do perform recon on every one I book.

Candidly, I enjoy reading reviews.  I guess that I'm a voyeur, of sorts.  I prefer reading reviews over watching porn.  Well written reviews are written reenactments of actual, sensual encounters that were not scripted.  Some reviewers are actually really good writers, in fact.

Bottomline for me is...If a provider doesn't have multiple, excellent reviews, I will move on and find others who do.  Providers with a "no review policy" are a hard-no for me.

I've been on this site since 2014. I think the most important thing is the ADs that the Providers put in. All ADs should include the providers availability,  prices & services.  And as far as Prices go.....Hobbyists should accept the prices. The cost of a Motel/Hotel is expensive and a Providers time is extremely valuable.

You are listening to the majority on a review board, hence, pro-reviewers and a one-sided answer.

However, there are just as many men who book women with the same regard for no reviews, as there are who are here. Right or wrong doesn't factor, just personal preference and comfort for both parties involved.

So I told him to go ahead because I do not fuck for free and only do what is stated. So any asshole that wants to believe that 1 review then that person is a cheap ass mother fucker.

What about providers that perhaps had retired and came out of retirement like myself. My personal life situation has changed etc. Therefore I do not have any current reviews. I am a low volume provider and there is a site I started posting on that has nothing but fake reviews of me recently, I have wrote and asked numerous times for them to be removed to no avail. Then there are ppl that I have actually seen and said they would review me here or elsewhere and dont. I know I provide excellence it's just a matter also of getting back acclimated.

I'd say bank account and discretionary income factors more into that.  Us broke folk just want to ensure that we're not getting ripped off, at least I do.  I'm sure there are a lot of folks out there that won't hesitate to drop 1k for 1 pop and a bad attitude, I'm not one of them.  I'd rather visit a lady with a solid reputation and leave the session walking on air than thinking "why didn't I do more research".

My best visits have come with providers that have current and reviews with guys that do reviews with their experiences. If I have a review of a lady it’s because they have been a great provider! I don’t take chances, as Experience is best. If they have several reviews with reviewers with only the one review ten I think they are made up. With the same ruling play, sometimes a provider that has some bad reviews they can be made up by those that are trying to sabotage that person so typically I can see through those. We have a buyer beware rule.

Today I saw an independent massage provider with no TER reviews and only one mention on another site. I knew she wasn't a rob and I didn't have a specific service need. I went in open minded.  Had a good time and might go back.

I initially joined OF out of curiosity but providers I was lined up to see had already gone through my own box checking process.  AFTER that, if they had an OF account, I might join to get more familiar with how they look or perform.  Could be just me but there's a lot of disappointment with some of the content (or lack of) in certain cases.  You can see a number of posts before joining but what's posted is another thing.  I think titties under a wet t-shirt is always cool to see but 88 of them in a row is less than exciting.

I will see someone without reviews if a provider I know well suggests that the non-reviewed woman is someone I will enjoy spending time with.  If I get the sense that a woman is really just acting as a shill for a friend, I won't take her future suggestions seriously.

I may see someone without reviews if she's from a well-respected agency, although there, I have had problems with wildly out-of-date pictures, which has caused me to lose faith in the agency.

Every once in a great while I will throw caution to the wind and take a chance on an independent lady without reviews.  My luck in this regard has been fifty-fifty.  I have encountered some hidden gems this way and I have had some really lousy experiences too.

I used to write a lot of reviews but ran into some issues and had them removed (many years ago).  Now, if I have a really positive experience with someone who doesn't have reviews, I will write a review if asked.  Reviews can provide some assurance that the woman is for real.  So these days, I write reviews somewhat sparingly.

I look at the reviews and I also look at the reviewers so I can judge at least a level of credibility for the contribution.  There are those out there that are bashers, but more common I think are the shills.  I'd suspect many hobbyists that have been around a while can sort through those pretty easily.  It gets difficult if a provider only has a handful of reviews, if she has pages though, it's pretty easy to be confident you will be getting what you paid for.
