I didn't put an alias up.  I came right out.  I'm not debating here...just asking who's supporting whom.

I'm not going to politic.  I just am interested in who's voting for whom.

I'm for Obama.  I'd love to see where we all plan on voting.

Is there a difference between the ladies and the men?

Just wondering.

He is also asking the ladies for their opinions. It is a simple question, and there are very few ladies who venture onto the P&R board. I too am curious where they stand.
My vote will go to McCain.

If the ladies choose not to go to the P&R board, that is their choice. That they don't does not give license to bring the politics and religion here.

You asked what is the harm? The harm is the regular disintegration of the thread into partisan bickering and flaming from aliases. On the P&R board, that may be standard and acceptible, but it isn't here. The presence of the other board gives it a sanctioned home, where it should generally stay. Bringing those topics and that behavior here (not saying you did) will run people off and the end result will be less participation here.

I'm just a newbie, but the value in segregating the P&R off seems clear, along with the repercussions when it is allowed to return to the general board.

Just my $.02, which will stay non-political on this board.

If the ladies choose not to go there that's there business.

Some of us come here to take a break from the 24/7 political cycle that accompanies the last days of an election.  That's why there's a P&R board.  So those who want more of this can go there and those who don't aren't bombarded.

HOLY COW, BARACK'S MIDDLE NAME IS HUSSEIN??!?!?

That must mean he's related to Sadaam Hussein, and he's a terrorist!

THERE GOES MY VOTE!

That's funny.
I am not going to mention any candidates, but what's the weather like up in Boston?

It's about 40 and clear. How's the weather in Aliasville tonight?

Why do you find it necessary to attack another poster? Even the guy who started the thread hasn't done that.

You are so constantly on the defensive these days.
I guess you missed the smiley face on my post.
Relax, have a beer, get laid.

Smiley faces don't mean shit mr alias. An attack is still an attack. I don't need advice from someone who can't even remember their handle about how to react around here.

Defensive? I respond to posts, same as you are doing. So what makes me defensive and not you?

Direct from the Papoon for President Web site....

George G. Papoon graciously accepts the Natural Surrealist Party's nomination for President....

George G. Papoon is just the cheapskate this country needs! It was at his suggestion that the Natural Surrealist Party rented the Democratic Party convention space immediately after the Democrats vacated, for mere pennies on the dollar!

As for the suggestion that Social Security funds be invested in the stock market, Vice-Presidential candidate George Leroy Tirebiter has a very different idea: movies! One good blockbuster can keep Grandma financially secure and easily entertained!

A pet project of George Papoon is the first issue of a three-dollar bill by the U.S. Treasury (there is no truth to the rumor that this is just to pander to the gay lobby).
