I'd like to know if anyone has any suggestions regarding condoms.  I tend to lose steam after a while with the condom on, and would appreciate some input as to what I might be able to try.

While I'm not 18 anymore, I don't have any major ED problems, it's just that I have a lot of trouble finishing the act with a condom on.

Are there any specific brands that would be beneficial for my situation?

Try putting lube inside the condom before putting it on. That might help you feel a little better!! But it also might just be in your head too! Dont think about finishing be in the moment and enjoy and I bet you finish!!

Try one of the polyurethane brands. Some girls are obviously not going to be down on a first time to use condoms you bring, but it could be something to work out with a regular. The polyurethane condoms are super thin and unlike latex transfer body heat.

They fit better, and the sensation is incredible...it's almost like being there...

Keep shopping and experimenting until you find what works for you.

You may want to schedule an extended playtime with your favorite lady and take a sampling of condoms with you and you can have a "fashion" show and test drive of sorts...Enjoy!

Here are a few suggestions that might make things a little easier and even if they don't, they can sure make things alot steamier.....

Regarding female condoms, I've used them several times now, and overall, I really like them. My first experiment with them was PERFECT. The gentleman was like you and had trouble with condoms, and had the added difficulty of not being able to orgams from BBBJ or HJ. He asked me if I would be willing to try using a female condom and I happily agreed. He was thrilled with the result, and so was I. My next several uses of FC's were filled with mixed results. I have found that they do not work well with some positions, particularly CG, but work GREAT in others, particularly mish. As an added bonus, for me at least, they actually tended to add to my pleasure, a bonus I very much liked :)

Failing that, as others suggested, polyurthane condoms may be helpful too. Gents have reported that they feel better. Or use an ultra thin condom.

Some women, like myself, do prefer not to use condoms brought by the gent because I can't be certain how old the condom is, whether its been tucked in a wallet for the last 5 years, etc, and I also tend to get irritated in my giggly parts if I use different condoms all the time. So if you show up with your own condoms to meet a new lady, she may not be willing to use them at first, but with someone you've seen a few times, chances are that she will be happy to experiment with some different brands with you.

If all else fails, try to spice things up. Talk dirty to her and ask her to talk dirty back! Also, try a warming lube (for some men, even a mild warming lube is too much, but for others, they absolutely love it). Ask her to put just a drop or two in teh condom before applying it. The added sensation for some men can be, well, explosive.

Hope some of these tips help!

Do female condoms have any tendancy to take away some of the sensation for the lady? Is she less likely to be able to orgasm?

Oh please!  I know you're one of those hobbyists that fall 'in love' with your ladies, but this is a business.  If one of the parties involved is going to have to give up an orgasm it shouldn't be the customer.  Or are you willing to give up your climax for hers?
I'm sure the providers here would much rather have clients leave satisfied and take care of themselves afterwards.

I didn't read anything that Hungry said that indicated that he was willing to give up his O for the sake of the provider having hers. Does it have to be one or the other? For all you know he could be thinking in terms of his SO.

I don't recall asking about anyone being willing to "give up" anything. I just think it's a better experience if both parties enjoy it. It was only a question.

Although, when I have used them, it seems too easy for a guy to accidentlly go around the opening, making all issues of safety mute.

Actually, the last time I used one, the gentleman mentioned how he'd gotten BBFS "accidentally" because he'd missed his mark.  Now, just exactly how does a man not notice he's missed the mark realizing he's not in the bag til after he's cum?

It's okay. I need someone to drop by every now and then to remind me what an asshole I am. Keeps me humble!!!

You'd think that would be something a guy could feel.

Ya, but, only when it's justified. Afterall, if I'm remembering correctly, your SO does plenty of that already. Please excuse me though if that is in error, and I've mixed you up with someone else. When you get old, it's the member that goes first.

Female condoms (FC's for short) are a little more difficult to place, and a few times I haven't gotten them placed quite right. When I didn't get it in just the right position, the sensation was a little distracting and it did dampen my experience. However, when I have gotten the thing placed right, I have found that not only can I orgasm just fine, it actually adds a little to the pleasure.

My experience has been that it basically takes some practice inserting the flipping thing (I find that using a dildo to get it placed works great).

I will also add though, that insertin an FC is rather awkward and shall we say, ungraceful, so both parties need to ahve a level of comfort to be able to gloss over the awkwardness of the moment :)

And the same brand all the time, it is very unsafe/unhealthy to insert different lubes, foreign articles in your body all the time ..

I had this same issue.  Resolved it by putting on two condoms - one over the other - with some nice lube over the first one.  It's like making a cake:  Dick - Condom - Lube - Condom.

Happy fucking!

I am told that it feels more like the real deal and makes it a lot easier for him so I always have a few on hand.

Dear Rock1275:
I was wondering do you feel as though there is some loss of blood from your copulatory organ when you use a condom or you wouldn't feel the juices that the woman is secreting during the coital activity? I am wondering how many Millimeters thick is the brand of condoms you are using and use a brand that might be thinner. I am thinking that if you use a thinner brand then you might feet more sensation from the women and resolution would occur more frequently.
