Does anyone know what exactly TER's policy on retired providers is?  I ask as when a provider publicly retired in the past, her profile would be left up but at the very least her link, ad or personal site, would be removed from the profile whether or not the links still worked.

There are a couple of ladies I know for fact are retired but when I submitted problem reports recently saying there links should be removed as they are retired, the request was unapproved.

Well if their websites were still up, then you telling TER that they're retired will look suspicious.  Why should they choose to believe you?  I mean, if a provider were to retire surely she'd cut out her unnecessary expenses, like maintaining a website.  I realize it could've only been a matter of days before the site would've come down.  But you probably should've waited until it did before submitting your Problem Reports.

Of course,  another point to consider might be that they are in fact NOT RETIRED?  As in, they told you they were "retired", so that you would leave them alone?  I put question marks at the end of the last 2 statements, because I'm not trying to judge you or state that this is what's happening.  But, is it something that you've failed to consider?

And finally, another option to consider:  were these agency girls?  If so, many an agency girl has told her employer "I'm retiring", only to come knocking again 6 months later.  Many agencies will remove the girl's pics/info from their website's main page.  But since the agency owns the website, they'll keep up the girl's specific page in cyberspace.  An example:  Jane tells Dick that she's retiring.  Dick pulls Jane's pics and info off of his main site.  So if you look up Dicksagency.com, you won't see the info re: Jane.  But Jane's TER Profile Page was probably linked directly to her page.  So Dicksagency.com/jane1.htm is still up in cyberspace.  Why should Dick pull it down?  She may want to come back one day.  And, if someone sees it and decides to call, then Dick can at least say, "I'm sorry but Jane is retired at this time, however we have many lovely ladies...".  You get the point?

When a provider retires, she needs to contact us so we can take her profile down. No one other than the provider can make this request.

ifoundher didn't say the supposedly retired provider still had her website up; he said her (TER) profile was still up.  If her website is indeed down and she has publicly stated her retirement, I'd be curious how this is handled by board administrators.

If her website is down and she is retired, then with the first problem report which indicates her link is not valid anymore TER removes her website from her review profile, but leaves the profile up.

The rest is up to her, if she wants to remove her reviews then she can contact TER and ask to get delisted.

Yeah, I know what he said.  I was merely pointing out how ludacris it is to think that he can submit a report saying, "Candy Cane has retired, please remove her Profile Page."  I may have strayed a bit in explaining all that other stuff, but hey, Celia liked it.

In a way, I am!  I conduct sports clinics and I coach.  Mostly seasonal work.  Some coaches have sought me out to work with their weaker hitters in baseball, and to work with tall, but uncordinated kids in basketball.  Those are probably my specialties.  But, I'm thinking of adding "Math Tutoring to Sexy Redheads" to my repitoire.  Perhaps, we can work out a swap, LOL!!                                        ;-)
