Recently, I found a LV womens wallet and considering gifting it as a Xmas gift.
Either that or sell it to fund the hobby.

I'm wondering for the guys with ATF's, How often do you give gifts or do you just stick with the holidays/special occasion to give a gift?

What kind of a cheap ass are you anyhow?

I can't imagine giving a used purse as a Xmas gift, or any other kind of gift except for perhaps a "I found this purse, do you like it?" type of gift.

Giving used items away as Xmas gifts is just about as low class as I can imagine. I hope your ATF is a CL ho, that seems to be more your style

Why wouldn't you turn that wallet in?

I have gifted the next 'semesters tuition', a horse(lol), a Hawaiian get-a-away. My gifting goes in unison with the CIM that i receive. LOL

The wallet is mine.
I've never used it.

I wasn't going to post the whole story here because nobody needs to know the whole details but the wallet is mine. I FOUND it in one of my numerous boxes that I've been going through since I moved.

Stupid Ass.

WTF is wrong with you people! Paranoid idiots.

Again, The wallet is mine.

yet you are considering selling it to finance your P4P, and you call me an idiot? You can't possibly expect anyone here to be as stupid as you, can you? rofl

You are either incredibly stupid (my personal vote) or think we are. Anyone who can afford to buy Louie Vuitton wallets and just leave them lying around in a box should have no need to sell them to finance the hobby.

WTF is your problem?

I said I moved and i'm still going through my shit load of boxes. I found the wallet in my stuff and I have no use for it so why not gift it or sell it.

I recently moved. I am unpacking and I found it.

'Nuff said.

Stupid people have taken the original question and twisted it around.

They accuse me of being "cheap" and "lowclass" both of which I am not.

I was unpacking boxes and I found this item in one of my many boxes.

What so difficult to understand about that??

Anyway, I am done.

simply "finding" a brand new, never been used woman's LV wallet in your stuff just doesn't have a ring of truth about it.

I guess you expect us to believe that you buy so many women's LV wallets that you can't remember where you bought it. yeah right, whatever you say dude. rofl

I predict the mods aren't going to leave a thread this stupid up much longer anyhow.

and seems easily driven to anger. Not good traits to have on this board where sharks can smell blood in the water from miles away.

Oh well, I guess I have had my fun for the day, but you do have to admit, the OP resembled a monkey in a cage flinging poop at his tormentors. roflmfao

a little over a month ago, I found a gold necklace I made for my ex several years ago, she did not like it, so I kept it in my desk drawer and forgot about it. I only found it while organizing my desk drawers, I have forgotten all about it.

I was thinking of giving it to my ATF for X-Mass also.

So, excuse him as he did not present his inquiry clearly.

If not, just buy your favorite hooker a horse.  Or nothing.  That would be better than giving her some crap you found on the street all wrapped up in Christmas paper.

You did say, ONLY, that you found the wallet. Typically this would imply that you found the wallet (for example) on the street, and wanted to give that as a gift.

Yes, some folks were yanking your chain... but some of the confusion came from your OP. That said, it was lively and humorous - albeit at your expense ;-)

i do tend to give winter solstice (or Saturnalia) presents and i also do birthdays. my list of ATFs is shortened somewhat but..... i am researching something special this year. all i can say is that it is very green.

i have given random gifts, large and small. once on travel i saw a very nice embroidered jacket/dress that i immediately saw as being on one particular person......

I wonder if my ATF would like it as a gift. Its a hot (and I do mean "hot") little number I found while canvasing the neighborhood, so I'm not sure if I can hide it until Xmas.

Your thoughts and comments appreciated.

...it's surprising what one finds in a box that's been neglected in the garage for over a month.  I recently found my favorite UGG riding boots in a box that contained belts and a lampshade!  :p

As to whether the wallet should be gifted to a companion, it depends on the companion.  Sometimes giving a gift that was not originally intended for the recipient can carry some funky energy with it.  Some people are more sensitive to that than others.

If you intend to fib to the lady and tell her or imply that the wallet was purchased just for her, I'd think twice.  If someone gave me something brand new that they found, I wouldn't be offended if s/he told me, "Hey Lynette, I won this at an auction/bought this for my sister/whatever and it's never been used.  Would you like it?"  In fact I would prefer the truth and would graciously accept or decline the offer, while respecting my patron for his honesty.

sidetracked when they thought he had found it lying on the ground...

I will not deign to respond to the questions premise as the response has to fit the nature of what provider(s) you see and why. For me, the best "gift" is a tip.

A gift at Xmas or for birthdays or other special occasions has always gone over well.  No need to overdue it...a c-note gift card is fine along with a nice BD or Xmas card.   At other times, a bottle of champagne will hit the spot.
