Honestly, I have found myself homing in the lowest rated review of provider to get an accurate idea. To me at least, many of 10/10 (or high) review have a lot of feel good fluff which gives me too high of an impression of a provider. The low rating set the exception on a more realistic level.

I have found if I still go in after reading the low rated reviews, I am more likely to a better session.

Who else has found this to be more accurate also?

Some of us actively avoid tough reviewers or resort to other ways to manipulate reviews, some of us don't.  Some reviewers have a bone to pick and some reviewers are just being honest.  It's just best to ignore the numbers and look at what's being said in the majority of reviews.

her first reviews if she has longevity.   Those tend to have occurred before grade inflation.   Average ladies receive 9s now.  Also,  look at the raters distribution to see where she stands relative to other ladies.

...it's that I get balance.

But much more important than the score the lower graders give, I want to see what he/they wrote about her and what kind of grader he/they are in general by looking at their review history.

If the score is a mid range or upper end score for him, then that will give me a good reason to keep pursuing that girl.

Many cases, the lower scorers "juicy details" gives me more reason to see her as I always pm those reviewers and many times they are quite complimentary of the girl but sometimes it does have the opposite affect as well.

Good post.

I've read several low score reviews only to find the review itself is complimentary compared to the score -- aka 5's and 6's.   These guys just have a different idea of the scale.   It looks like most people score a 7 as a decent score.  No shame in a 7.  But a 5 or 6 seems to mean something was a bit off and they will usually mention what it was in the text.  So guys who give good text but 5's and 6's are just using a different scale.

I prefer to read the reviews. I've seen a lot of performance scores of 6 and 7 and when I read the juicy details, the reviewer says he had a great time and she was fantastic.
Go figure.

Scores mean very little.  The narrative tells you what kind of session you're going to have.  Many times the scores seem to be at odds with the narrative, so if you just look at scores, you don't get the whole picture.  How many times have you read a review where the reviewer says what a great time he had and would repeat only to score it a 7/7?  Other times, a reviewer will say the session was just so-so and he would not repeat, but scores it an 8/8.  Unless you personally know the reviewers frame of reference in giving scores, the numbers can be misleading.  Some reviewers use a tougher scoring system than others.

the vast majority of reviewer's will be more accurate in verbiage than with numbers.

In reality, the only number I care about is the 2nd number. I can determine a providers appearance by looking at her pics. It is the performance that is the variable in this equation.

Reviews certainly are complicated as individuals.

Recently I read the reviews a potential client writes on his encounters. I see all mid range 7-9 scores. The written details are little short and to point but give insight into what he likes.

His one low review was a 5/9. He plays cities that are rich and full of choices of providers. His one low review starts, I have seen xxxxx several times.

How and why does this make sense? How many times do you repeat with someone who you feel a 5? If you feel she is a 5 and the city is full of providers why do you repeat. Prior to the review he tells fact that he has already seen her several times. He rates her performance a 9 yet. I think this is simple example of how much power and messed up reviews can be. He does not say she used to be cute sexy but is now fat ugly cow. In fact he says he recommends.

My point is you need to look at all a providers reviews. Obviously he did this to hurt her reviews. Why I have no idea and I doubt anyone will know reason.

As far as the OP's question, I definitely give the worst scores a hard look, but balance those with the monger's review history.

I've actually seen several providers who received one or more performance scores of 5 or less (one a 3). Sometimes, the chip on the reviewer's shoulder is obvious, other times, I can see his point, but the aspect of the date that he disliked didn't affect me.

The fact that a provider has reviews, isn't a rip-off, and is engaged in the session means more to me than scores and "juicy details." YMMV after all.

when I'm reviewing reviews, I look for a performance number that is higher than the looks number. My thought is that if I'm attracted enough by her looks to be checking out her performance, and her performance rating is higher than her looks, then it bears more investigation .Then I read through the reviews and look for some pattern of whether she offers the basics of what I'm looking for, a true GFE experience.

I'll look for kissing, untranslated french, accepting of oral pleasures herself and enthusiasm in all areas. Is she "good, giving and game?"

I also understand that not all people connect at all times so as to give most encounters ratings in the 8-10 range. Aside from chemistry, sometimes we all have off-days at work. So I will not consider a small percentage of lower ratings as a deal-breaker in the selection process. If I do see a larger number of consistently low reviews from clients who have a wide range of experience and a longer track record themselves, that might give me cause to reconsider seeing that provider.

In China I always check if the reviewer has ever posted a review outside if China.. If not in all likelyhoos its apimp
Most recently btw, one of my regulars got an offer from a guy to write reviews for her for 100$ or so.. wow!!
I forwarded to admin.. if they can do something, who knows..
My reviews tend to be positive, real negative experiences I never had but a 5/5 or so ..
I always read in the states  several reviews - if available - and then the text in the ad itself.
If the reviews are really exceptional usually the girl is more expensive = that kind of is proof of quality, especially if many
reviews are posted
Last but not least chemistry is most important for me as well..

I've never turned around and fled the scene due to major facial disappointment, but those few times when a 2-bagger opened the door, I shy away from kissing, encourage a quick BBBJCIM and then feign some reason I've got to run early.  Certainly wouldn't go back for more.

How is looking at a girls worst scores "pessimistic?" When you shop online for a hotel or restaurant, or whatever, don't you look at the negative things and/or the more critical scores/comments as well?

Doesn't that make you a more well informed buyer?

You lost me here.

If you take her comments in context with the OP that she is replying to, it makes a LOT of sense.

The OP doesn't simply suggest "looking at" a girls worst scores, but (his words) to "focus on them"

Wouldn't you agree that if a woman has 30 positive reviews and only one negative review to "focus" on that one single poor review would be a very "pessimistic" way of looking at her?

Of course you "look" at her poor reviews, but to focus "only" on her poor reviews is indeed a very pessimistic way of using this site.

You want to differentiate between "looking at" and "focus on" which is right out of Jakes playbook, be my guest.

Imo, that is a distinction without a definable difference, but this is the "new GaG", but certainly not the improved one. LOL

The 30-1 good review/bad review ratio was not mentioned by the OP as you threw that in there.

I would take into consideration her poor scores but I wouldn't necessarily make those bad scores and written text a disqualifier.

Are you sober still?

I tend not to go into a session with any real expectations -- other than a girl that looks mostly like the pics and will make some level of effort to make the session fun for both of us.

As for the reviews, I don't really need them much as I deal with agencies almost exclusively and know the one's in my area so know what's on offer. Traveling is a bit different but I don't do that much so ... Mostly when I want to get information for the reviews it's more about getting a handle on how the reviewer grades and what his (or perhaps her but so for not yet occurred ;-) tastes are compared to mine. For that I need to check a number of the reviews written and find some overlap in who we've seen if possible.

You both feel the need to "out JFSF" each other at the same moment in time? Gambler, you are being overtly fastidious in parsing Jack's language all of a sudden and Jack, you are being a bit over the top and too defensive in your tone with Gambler.
This couldn't be from an issue that has emanated from another board that has spilled onto this one now, could it? You both are acting like children, so why not cease and desist or act like men and handle your matters privately?

and just why would either of us feel the need to handle this privately? It's a public discussion board for fucks sake. If this were a "private matter" one of both of us would tell you to fuck off, but it's not, so you can feel free to offer your two cents worth any time you want.

Here is how I do it.

I start from her most recent reviews and read backwards until I feel like I have a clear sense of her general style. I stop once I figure out that I am not going to learn any more by continuing to read more reviews in that direction.

Then I go to her earliest reviews, which are often more candid and revealing than her later ones.

Then I go to read reviews from reviewers whose handles I recognize, as I give their reviews greater weight.

Then I go through the rest of the reviews and focus on the ones with higher or lower scores - the outliers. In other words, if she averages a 7 or an 8, then I focus on the 9s and 10s and the 5s and 6s (or below). For the ones with higher scores, I want to know why they liked her more than most of her reviewers, which should tell me what her strengths are. For the ones with the lower scores, I want to know why they liked her less than most of her reviewers or disliked her, which tells me what her weaknesses are.

If her strengths are important to me, e.g. strong BBBJ skills, then that helps me decide to see her. If her strengths do not appeal to me, e.g. she gets 10 performance ratings because she does Greek (in which I have no interest), then I might or might not see her, depending on what other reasons I have for being interested in her. If her weaknesses bother me, e.g. no GFE or she treated someone poorly, then I will probably not see her. If her weaknesses do not bother me, e.g. she is thicker or curvier than many guys like (which is fine with me), then I would still see her.

I didn't, and still don't, see any harm in that. It struck me as a benign and innocuous post, one in which you would ignore 900 times out of 901, under different circumstances, but I wont continue to argue with you about something so inconsequential.
To be frank, Gambler, I had basically the same reaction as did JD to Courtney's response. Thank you for the reply. Good day.
