Smokers have become like lepers as of late, but, we are just as human as the next person!!

Hi ladies. I have a question for you.
So I'm a smoker. It's a stupid habit, and I should quit, I know.
I hate the idea of a provider smelling smoke on me. I don't smoke the day of a date. I even make sure the clothes I am wearing come right out of the dryer.
How did she know I smoke? Do you girls read minds? What else can I do to hide it?
She said she could tell by the consistency of my spit. What? I have never heard of that.
See. The hobby may save my life. I am not a smoker the day of a date. If I could afford to hobby everyday I would be a non smoker! The fear of grossing out the lady outweighs the addiction to nicotine to the point that I don't even have the urge to smoke. After I leave.... I light up the best cigarette of my life!
With what cigarettes cost in NYC, if I quit I could afford an extra date a month! Damn I have got to quit.

I light up after playing on the way to dinner and the guys is like "WTF you smoke?" It gets in your hair, clothes, and hands more than anything else. I always smoke naked when I am in the room so the smell is not on my clothes bwahahah, then I wash my hands, spray my hair, brush my teeth, and pop some gum. Some people claim they are allergic to it, but I have never had an MD confirm this is even true. For those people, better off they don't leave the house because smoke is everywhere.

They are still under 4 a pack where I live, but I paid 13 bucks at the NYC airport once..yes, I was that in need lol.

Perfuming, or Temporarily quitting you do, it is on you, and most people will know you are a smoker!

It's such a waste of money. I could have an extra hour date every month with leftover cash!
This thread is really making me think.

But a non-smoker can tell if you're close enough. The smell gets in your lungs and stays. If you just walked past me, I may not know  But if we got intimate, it's noticeable. Not saying its awful or anything, but it's there.

I smoked for 29 years and finally quit 6 years ago. I was a real closet smoker and thought I hid it well. Now, as a non-smoker, I can smell 'em easy. Chewing gum, lots of perfume or cologne...giveaways.  My mother in law is a very self conscious smoker. Always outside. Immediately washes her hands. Chews mints. But her and my house still reak of it when she visits.

Too bad. I enjoyed smoking and still miss it.  Doesn't bother me to be around smokers though. I get jealous. How stupid is that!

I could not tell a smoker from a non-smoker if they were careful. Smoking indoors is really hard to mask, but I know providers who get away with it all the time.

I was paying $4.50 in Ohio......6.50 here in VT.
Yep, even Lungman, the guy who takes care of people dying from cigarettes, smokes!!

I got a starter pack of Blu Cigs back in January and they exceeded my expectations. I've been a regular smoker since freshman year of college and I was just getting so sick of it: buying packs, getting sinus infections, having to do it outside in the cold Chicago winter... A friend recommended them to me and they're really cool. They have different flavors like traditional tobacco (which is more like pipe tobacco), vanilla, mint, etc. The best part is it's just concentrated, flavored vapor so it doesn't smell and doesn't stick to your clothes or skin. Admittedly, it's a bit different than a normal cigarette. The flavors a bit more like hookah (if you've ever tried that) and there's more nicotine in them, so prepare to get a bit of a buzz your first days using it. It may not be a permanent solution, but if you like the sensation of smoking but don't want all the downsides to it, I would highly recommend them. Hope that helps!

My photographer uses an e-cig, and he loves it. He says he never even has any desires for a real cigarette anymore. He doesn't use one of those cheap ones that look like real cigarettes though, he has this expensive thing that lasts all day on a charge and has adjustable voltage. He says it's the best one made, and is definitely worth the money. I've tried it myself, and it's definitely much better than those Blu Cigs (which I've also tried).
I have an e-cig myself. I use it when I'm places where I can't smoke (restaurants, movie theaters, etc), but I still crave real cigarettes. I'm told it's because I'm addicted to the other alkaloids in tobacco other than just nicotine. But I guess for most people just the nicotine in e-cigs is enough.

So try an e-cig, and see if it works for you.

I am a non smoker so just a faint hint of smoke and I can smell it.

Smoke doesn't bother me btw, so I dont mind if I meet a smoker or if he smokes during our session (as long as he's hosting that is).

I have met guys who I didn't know smoke until I started a bbbj.

It seems guys forget that if its on their hands and then they touch themselves - its giving your dick a little flavor.

what about choosing a provider that is a smoker as well?

It would be nice if the girls I see are smokers. Sort of.
I mean I can't say "Yay you smoke too! We are both killing ourselves, but I don't have to worry about a smell."
When I choose a girl. It is like a switch. Something I see or read, I like. Whether she smokes or not has no place in that animalistic thought process I go through.
Plus its rare a girl will advertise her smoking as a good thing.

Hey Hound,

You have 2 options:

1st option: Quit cold turkey! I am serious! I smoked for 25 years before I quit 16 years ago. I have never looked back.

2nd option: E-cigarettes - My brother uses them and he swears by them. I cannot say for sure, but if the E-cigarettes is a form of nicotine delivery system, then that should satisfy your nicotine habit.

If I were you... I'd pick the first option. You'll live LONGER with that option.

Providers: If you are reading this... just because you don't smoke before the session doesn't mean us non-smokers don't smell the smoke. We do. Plus, many non-smokers, myself included, do get sick when we are at a location that has been smoked into. I don't care what doctors or other medical people say, we do get sick. I have walked out of sessions where the provider's location was too much for me to handle.

If you don't want to respect your hobbyists, I'd recommend that you providers quit as well. Your body and non-smokers will thank you for it.

I am a smoker, and I do smoke before and after a date...never had a complaint and most of the men I see are non-smokers. Most even suggest I smoke during the date, but most hotel rooms charge you 300 so not smart.

Hello,

As a former smoker, I knew that you were going to bash me.

Go ahead... go for it.

You first say you smoked for 25 years and then in the very same breath NOW say you are allergic to it and you don't care what any medical professional says about it. Must be that "higher degree" of yours, that I can't keep up with lmao.

Hello,

Yes, I am allergic to smoke.

I am also allergic to idiots, too.

Hello,

Re-read what I said.

I quit smoking 16 years ago.

I don't care if you don't get it. Many former smokers do. That's all it counts to me.

Again, I reiterate, I am allergic to smoke and idiots.

I am confident that you will have the last word in this. You always do. There's a word for those kinds of people.

A smoker who is allergic to smoke...gosh.

Everyone I know who has quit smoking successfully, has done it cold turkey.
All the pills, patches, fake cigarettes etc.. eventually lead to smoking again.

cold turkey, May 13, 1988 was my last cigarette.  My feeling is, a smoker will quit when he/she really wants to, case in point, my roommate.  He quit with Chantix (spelling not sure) for a few months.  Then he decided he could have just one, NOT!!!!!  He then restarted and gradually has returned to as much as before.

The last thing I want to hear from a smoker is the statement, "I know I need to quit".  You ain't gonna quit till you really want to, so quit moaning about it.  I don't look down at smokers, having been one myself.  It's their problem, not mine.

I have seen some providers who were smokers, and most of the time there was no problem with taste or smell.  A couple of them, yeah, but not really bad.  I have never used smoking as a factor of whether or not I would see a provider.

they always know..i usually see providers who do smoke..the ones that do always are glad to see me..they always whine about the clients who say they reek of smoke..not a good way to start any session..

I smoked for many years (lightly, but daily) and quit earlier this year.

Hypnosis worked for me.

Still, the first 5 days SUCKED, but after you get past the initial withdrawl, it gets easier and easier every day.

After hypnosis, I dont have any temptations to start again and I actually couldn't care less whether a client smokes or not.  The smell doesnt bother me.  If you're worried about what a provider thinks, dont.  She's not your wife.  I could think of way worse problems from a client than smelling a little smoke on his clothes.

Just for your information, stopping for one day and spritzing cologne or  perfume won't fool a NON-smoker... Sorry smokers you do stink tobacco... and even worse...actually you smell like ass!
You've already been banned from public areas and soon from hobbying! lol

You smokers have no other choice than stinking together, sorry I meant sticking together or quite ;-)

Fine, I'm done lecturing,  obviously I care about you smokers!

It is funny.. If I quit smoking because of this thread, it will be a tough story to tell...
"Yea Ma. I quit smoking because a bunch of people on a fuck board that I don't know got me thinking."

You must be from Cali...that mentality of "do all the cocaine you want but don't dare smoke a cigarette" smells familiar lol. Fact is, many of us have fooled so many people it is not even funny...all non-smokers too. You simply can't testify what another person's nose can smell or not smell so it is rather a moot point. Many people have a keen sense of smell while others don't.

If I understood what you were saying. I wouldn't be insulted anyway.
My way of saying it is way more artistic. It must be the nicotine.
