This may be a more appropriate thread for the newbie board, but I am posting this here so more people read this.  At the beginning of October, I was granted a "temporary" membership to Date-Check with a verification from my favorite provider.  The membership expired December 31,  but before it expired I made three attempts to purchase a lifetime membership.  I tried three different cards and they were all declined.  So, on December 22, I mailed a money order to "DCAEV" in West Virginia.  It is now January 7, and I have had no response.  I am getting very impatient.  I chose Date-Check because it is accepted by most providers that require a verification service, and they're also cheaper than P-411 (I guess you get what you pay for).  I know my account is still in their database because I attempted to pay for a monthly membership this morning and again my card was declined automatically.  I am wondering if anyone (hobbyist or provider) has ever experienced this with this site and how did you resolve it?  I have sent them two emails asking them to process my money order.  I am obviously pissed because I am beginning to think I just blew $124.95.  I am only an occasional hobbyist, and this is money that I could have spent seeing a provider.  I am hoping that someone from Date-Check sees this post and does something about it, or I may be limited to $200 an hour providers.

your card company should have contacted you to make sure you are the one making the purchase. its fraud protection and most banks will notify you if a purchase looks suspicious to them. they will contact by text and you just reply back as instructed

I did that this morning.  Still no response.

I thought of this.  This never happened from any of the three cards that I attempted to make payment with.  The first card I used was actually a prepaid card.  I didn't want to leave an electronic trail with my credit card number in light of the Ashley Madison hack (and Home Depot, Target, etc.).  This doesn't explain why they STILL haven't processed my money order.

Women like you are why it is worth the hassle.  Although, maybe I should have bought a cheap plane ticket to Miami instead.

You are not the only one who cannot get a response from them in a timely fashion.
The customer service on that site takes awhile to respond like days to weeks.
Have you tried to contact them directly via email [email protected]
Or you can try to call them their phone number is on the site.
Sorry you have to go through that.
This is another reason why I really appreciate P411 Gina always responds in a timely fashion.
Hope you get your issue resolved soon.

This doesn't help to solve the problem, but it's info to have for when you get thru to DC Cust Service.

So, on December 22, I mailed a money order to "DCAEV" in West Virginia. ... I have sent them two emails asking them to process my money order.
I assume you saved your receipt or stub from the MO. Go on-line or call the MO Cust Serv to see if the MO has been redeemed yet. If YES, you might be able to get more info (redeemed BY? date? bank?). If YES, you have a stronger case with DC. "Hay! I just paid for a lifetime memebership and you screwed it up! You should give me a lifetime-PLUS membership!

I have had my membership or whatever it is in pending status for almost a year. I tried to buy a membership and my card was also declined. I emailed them as a provider asking to advertise and have not heard back. Im not sure what the deal is. The girls on our private board say they like Date check but I don't know how to get a response out of them either....

I just wanted to let all of you know that Date-Check finally processed my money order as of February 13.  I spoke with another provider, and she said Date-Check is having a problem with its payment processor.  If you mail them a money order be prepared to wait, but all is well now, and I am now a lifetime member.
