A) They know their reviews will be crap so they'd like to keep the bad news from spreading.

B) They would rather not have the intimate details of their professional lives plastered all over the internet.

Insight into this last question would be a big help to those wondering if they should TOFTT...

bottom line is reviews help business!  guys read what other guys have had and they want some..very simple!  UNLESS
the girl wants to simply stay UTR (under the radar) and she has her select clientel that she shes with word of mouth type of thing..
but bottom line is reviews really do help business.

Like physicians who feel they can bnot do justice to new patients and therefore accept no new ones, there are providers who do not want new business except perhaps a few new clients on recommendations only. One of my ATFs was like this and requested no reviews even though she knew mine would have been a 9 on looks and a 10 on performance.

I personally don’t care for the JUICY DETAILED reviews that’s why I have so few here. I insist that a review be discreet to the point of boring. By TERs’ standards.

I saw a lady a few weeks ago that I have known for the past few years.  She was once prominent on TER, but went UTR for personal reasons.  She requested that I not review; I wouldn't have unless she requested that I do so anyway.  As a hobbyist, I will always honor a request from providers about not reviewing.

I have a Fav who requested no reviews beyond the escort site she's on.  I have respected her request.

In my opinion, if the review would have been favorable, then not doing so is her choice.

If she scams or low preforms so I'd not be back, then I'd review her anyway as a warning.  Sure, she can get them removed...  but I'd have tried to warn others.

There are some providers who truly believe in the word "discretion" and due to children, husbands, legitimate careers etc.  cannot afford (or believe that they cannot afford) reviews from men detailing accounts of time with them on the internet.

For this reason, TER respects the privacy of the provider.  If she is reviewed without her permission she may contact TER and request that she be de-listed (which TER honors).

Unless a provider is a very obvious, routine bait and switch or ripoff there is no reason that her wishes shouldn't be respected.

Part of the fun of hobbying is NOT the review, contrary to the warped thinking that some clients have developed.  The review is an objective afterthought and if the provider in question has provided the service as requested and to the best of her ability professional courtesy should be extended.

Many providers don't get reviews because their clientele are not involved with TER. You are inferring too much. Are you really asking whether it is worth engaging a provider who doesn't have reviews?

All dabble in the boards now and then, even occasionally post something on our local board. They are low volume, have careers outside the biz, and prefer to see a select clientele of existing customers. It's a legitimate business model, and I think it is their right to ask that you not review them. As it is of course your right to review them.

Also I know a couple of ladies who want no more than one review or maybe two per month. And they select who they want the reviews from, based on the style of reviews that he writes. These ladies feel that their target market would be turned off by seeing five or ten reviews a month.

Frankly, I'm turned off by seeing five or ten reviews a month. I prefer low volume ladies because I have found that they usually provide a style of service that is more appealing to me.

I've only seen one lady who has an explcit "no review" policy posted on her website.  After our second date, she asked me to write a TER style review and email it to her, which I did.  Then she asked me when it would post.  I told her I had no intention of submitting it to TER, since that might very well undermine my credibility with future dates.

Generally I only submit a review if asked, however I've not (yet!) had a ripoff, much thanks to to wisdom gleaned from TER, especially Mr Fisher's sage advice.

I've also seen a some others who fit into slightly different categories including 1) Used to have a TER profile but took it down, and 2) Has a TER profile, with very old reviews, however no mention of reviews on her website.  Her website went down recently just after some screen shots appeared on the CNBC show.

lastly, I made contact with one gal who runs her ad on NY Eros from time to time.  When I mentioned she could sheck me out via my TER whitelist, she got all in a tizzy and said she would never see anyone who write reviews.  I explained that I only write reviews when asked, and would respect her request not to be reviewed, but she never replied to that email.  She might be LE, and I'll never find out.

Some make this request purely for discretion.  The absence of reviews lessen the chance of family members, co-workers, classmates, professors or friends
stumbling upon what is likely her secret life.

I can understand why a legitimate, high-quality provider might not want reviews, but after being burned years ago by a couple unreviewed providers who provided NO services other than a little dancing and teasing, I won't see a lady with this policy unless I can verify through other channels that she is indeed a quality provider.

That being said, it seems like the ladies who provide consistently crappy service don't really care whether they have reviews or not and that most of the ladies who have a no review policy are just being discrete.

If they option for "delist" on TER, then fine, they've made a business decision. But if she wants the benefits of being on the site, but requests "no reviews", then she can't have her cake and eat it too... In fact, I say "let her eat cake", Because if you're going to be a production-line sex-worker, then expect "consumer reports" to be a part of doing business and ORGANIZE YOUR FUCKING LIFE IN A WAY THAT GOES WITH THE TERRITORY! I'm so sick of this crock of shit that we've got to tiptoe around in the name of "respect to privacy" when they've CHOSEN this fucking occupation! (pun intended!) Go work in a warehouse if you want to remain incognito, not in a "whorehouse", and try and lie to your family and friends while earning $300 per hour...

At least not to me.  I don't do them because they're fun, because with all the information you have to provide, they're not fun to do.  I do them to help other guys who may be interested in a lady. I've benefited so much from the reviews of others that I feel I need to give back to the community.

and if her phone number is from out of your area post on that other areas board as well. If you yourself are a legit hobbiest known to others someone might PM you..I have heard others mention this type of system..This means you need to be VIP and somewhat active here..

I have a girlfriend who use to have many good reviews on TER and had them taken down..She has now been working UTR for the last 5 years..Recently she decided to start back up on the computer but still is unsure about any reviews..

I am referring to pros who utilize Eros, Cityvibe, Craigslist and a number of other escort malls who don't even LOOK at TER, let alone participate in the discourse.

I've seen PLENTY of pros who advertise on other sites and note that they don't want reviews.

As a "gentleman" who respects the ladies I have seen in the past and respected their wish for "no reviews" because they are UTR, I fail to see HOW what they have chosen to do has any relationship to this comment that they've "given up" the right to privacy? The BULLSHIT is your feeling that you have a right to know ... but in fact, your last review was 3 years ago and I understand you've retired. So why not use that free time to take some courses in human nature and compassion, with a dual major in respect. You're not talking about a public official who has been elected by the people and is obligated to be open about their lives ... you're talking about a lady who asks for some consideration in not having reviews posted. If SHE is content to restrict her base by not advertising or having a review posted, who are you to say she should?

That is not within TER guidelines.

If a provider wants NO reviews, I'll respect that unless she is a ripoff.  Otherwise, any/all TER members who see a lady can/should review.

I tend to agree - those who practive B&S or rip-offs most likely won't care about bad review since it is faily easy to set up a new profile with new pre-paid phone number as soon as bad review pops up.

Those who do provide quality service and do not with reviews, may not want the because of UTR nature of their business practice.

Finally, there are some ladies who adapt their service to each individual date and may be FS GFE for one Gentleman and light S&D for another. Being reviewed as either or may possibly typecast them and thus limit future dates.

It is important to remember that just like Hobbyists' tastes / likes / dislikes/ budget vary so do Ladies priorities and objectives.

If a provider has a profile on TER, reviews on TER, participates on TER, posts an Ad on TER, or uses TER in any way, shape or form to solicit business I have every right to post a review of her. I will simply ignore her request not to have reviews as she cannot have it both ways.

If she truly has a problem with me posting a review of her, then it is up to her to contact TER and have a profile delisted and in the process lose all the benefits and privileges that go with it. How does that sound?

They are in essence coordinating reviews with clients which is against the rules and they can get BANNED for it.

If I knew who they were, I would report them to TER authorities because I choose to play by the rules.

The point is respect! You mention that if she has an ad on TER, is reviewed on TER, etc., YOU have a right to know ... and you ended your statement with "How Does This Sound." Well, I have another suggestion ... how about since YOU use TER, YOU want to post a review regardless of who asks you not to, etc., how about the Lady having the right to know who YOU are and posting it and reviewing YOU with the world? For the fees we pay for V.I.P. membership (or the free days for writing reviews), we are entitled to information, BUT only if the lady chooses to give it. If you go to see a lady who asks NOT to be reviewed, but you do anyway because YOU feel you have that right, you're disrespecting her. On a rip-off, B&S, poor performance, etc., YES, I can see letting the community know - but if the lady is "as advertised," but asks NOT to have reviews posted, respect that request. Would YOU like your hobbying and habits posted where others (SO's, family, friends, etc) could see it? And why the alias?? Are YOU afraid for others to know who you really are?

We're not talking about providers who actively participate in TER.

We're talking about providers who operate only through advertisement and various escort malls NOT those who post, advertise and use discussion boards on TER.

That is against TER rules. She cannot choose who she wants a review from when she sees someone. If she does not like the way I write she cannot stop me from reviewing her if I see her.

Her only options are refuse to see guys who have a habit of writing many reviews. Also, she can refuse to see guys if she does not like the reviews they write.

Is this what you mean? In essence she is using screening procedures to see guys whose reviews she likes and to maintain some control on the amount of reviews she may receive in a month.

If that is what you meant I stand corrected.

It is rare I see a newbie provider. In such a case I would post a review to help her out and introduce her to the hobby.

If I see a provider from other avenues who has been around and has a preference to not be involved with TER in any way, shape, or form. I would respect her wishes.

It is the TER and other board providers who try to have it both ways that I have issues with.

I mean that they choose who they *ask* to write reviews, based not on the "grading" but on the *style* of the reviews. In my case, because I do not mention incall locations, physical identifiers, or other things that would violate a lady's security, and, because I am not graphic in a derogatory manner when I write "juicy details".....

They have no power at all to prevent anyone from writing a review
