I continue to read disappointing posts of not being satisfied, but I keep wondering why not book a Pro?

Some guys have limited budgets, some like to be the TOFTT guy, some like taking more risk and yes, some think with the little head over the big head.

Obviously no one disappointed is going out seeking the unprofessional or scammer providers. And it has little to do with price. You hear stories of guys spending plenty -- even in the 1000-1500 range -- that report all sorts of disappointment. From out right theft to bullshit service or attitude.

....that end up with a bunch of 5-7 performance scores.  Personally, I'd take a next door type girl with good hygiene in relatively decent shape that will rock my world over a playboy bunny or OF starlet that thinks I'm lucky just to be in her presence.  

But not this time.
First, even well-reviewed women can flake or just deliver a bad session. I was supposed to see a very well-reviewed lady 2 weeks ago and she completely ghosted me. I saw a lady last year with good reviews who turned out to be a total bust.

Hello, Bia! I was a little confused by your use of the word Pro ( I’m assuming you use that as Professional).
Can we get accurate with that word, please?  
Pro can mean someone who concentrates solely on what they do for a living. For example, someone who does sex work as a part time side hustle, while holding down a routine 9-5 type job, is not a pro sex worker. They could be a talented amateur or whatnot, could be mind scrambling in the sack, but technically speaking, not a pro. Maybe a part timer?
Pro can be defined most properly as the above, PLUS, in a job which requires some sort of continuing education to stay current. Perhaps having licensure to be allowed to practice their profession, also extended initial specialized training that the general public does not have.
So, not to be demeaning, but there are doubtless some very talented providers out there, who you may feel superior to. Because you consider yourself a pro. Remember, charging very large fees ( sorry, donations) does not distinguish. More than a few guys here have been burned by thinking that expensive has to be best. Not true, not always.
To be sure, when you opened this can of worms, by implying that those who cannot afford to pay more are to blame for choosing brand “X”,  I disagree.

There's definitely an insinuation in the question that those of us not willing to pay 1500 a session are somehow ignorant or at least misguided. That's really condescending.

Not ALL TER providers are a guarantee of a smooth experience.

I agree that we disagree. Just because a provider is not full time how can she not be a pro? Are you aware of what she does during her everyday lifestyle? Many providers have boyfriends they screw daily. Some are married. I understand everyone has a budget. I see because I posted the thread everyone is attacking my tribute on my profile $1500. I offer other services & rates on my site, but this is a vanilla board. Before I created my tribe my rates reflected my lifestyle & I was extremely busy. Unfortunately, as a single Mom my time is very limited, so my tribute is not for everyone. Everyone’s life circumstances are different.  

Unfortunately, it’s not feasible for me to be at that rate because of my responsibilities & I have a business I run not related to this hobby life.

been selected for Ms. TER are gracious, humble and realize it's NOT like being elected to Congress.  Others become full of themselves, talk down to mongers and other providers, and go from zero to bitch in 4.2 seconds.   Until there are some post-Ms. TER reviews, you're usually not going to know which it is.

And when I was new, trying to discover those boundaries cost me three or four provider-blocks while I learned the ropes. If you're serious in asking, then I'd take this point to heart. Habits learned early on, tend to persist (e.g., that a certain class of indies are prickly and suffer from varying degrees of GPS).

I wasn't suggesting that you should adjust your rates - that would be entirely your decision based upon what you consider to be important factors. Each individual lady needs to decide what works best for them - no one else is in a position to make that judgment.

I think pro means you get paid. If you get paid to golf you are a professional,  if you don't you just golf. But getting paid for a job doesn't mean you are necessarily good at it. So you are right, Pro, needs some defining. I used to hate that back when that other site was around they would say non pro. Like that meant those gals were some how better than someone who had a website. Not better, but , I guess those guys could fool themselves into thinking it was not paying for it , even tho they still gave money .  Or that having a website meant you were guna be businesslike, or follow a script. I have always had a website and rates but I have always been " like a cool chick u met at the bar" that was from an old review.  So pro to me means I take what I do seriously and strive to be respected and show respect in how I go about doing my bizness. 😜

same, a current top ten region gave me a horrible session last year, or rather she wasn't ready to do it with stuff on her mind and took it out on me. Bad attitude to me ever since, even on email/phone occasional contact and it was fine between us for years before that. if I compared it to past sessions, it was one of the worst three I ever had, and only one of those three were with not a high rated on ter provider. The other was a long time ago highly rated provider over a decade ago, my first use of a provider ever after seeing "Mathesar's" statistics I thought she would be ok, but she was on the low end stage caught up in drug addiction unfortunately before she left the hobby after years of top twenty region reviews, and ripped me off for the two hours, just gave up on me after 15 min. since I was total newb then.

yes, I'm tired of the whole 'deposits are standard' now. It wasn't, and never was. This deposit push is just during these recent woked cultural propaganda years.

I forgot this wasn't the politics board. I should have left it at deposits were never 'standard'.

I should have just left it at deposits weren't and shouldn't be thought of as standard. Kept other words shut or for the P&R board, but I don't really want to go there with my time on the TER boards either.
