Are you serious? I need to tell you, the TER community thinks of itself as a cut above the providers that advertise on CL. No. I would never book an appointment with a woman who is too stupid to understand what she is doing for a living.  The only non-pro is a girl who doesn't charge you anything.

I would never consider using it at this point for hobbying purposes.  To date, one lady I saw several years ago as an independent subsequently used CL on a later tour.  It was clear that she had deployed the services of an agency, which bombarded the NYC CL board with ads every 15 minutes that night, and cut her rate by 25%.  Must have been a slow night/trip.  Anyway, this lady lost appeal in my eyes by doing this.  Furthermore, there are many ads there that are so transparently fake as to be laughable (see my comment about amusement).  Then there are the teasers by unreviewed providers...TOFTT, anyone?  And let's not forget LE risk.  Since LE apparently uses CL more than other sources to set up stings and busts, this has to be taken into account as a serious risk.  Beware!  

Sorry, I will stick with the tried and true...independents that post on TER that have excellent reviews, the more the better!

I think "non pro" is a term created by men but.. it cracks me up every time I hear that term.

I have seen a few ads for 'non-pros' on Craigs - yes I browse the ads for amusement and to see if any lady their lists a TER review - and never have figured out exactly what the deal was.  
Are they giving it away?  Just starting out as a provider?  None of it makes much sense to me but then again, I'm male and, by definition, not very bright.

Probably not the ideal move for a guy who's scared of his own shadow or someone on a tight leash, but if you're looking for adventure or something a bit different I'd recommend the CL/Nonpro route.  I'm glad sites like this exist, but I'm not always in the mood to do extensive research to find somebody to fuck!  It can take away from the thrill of the hunt.

I agree with the above...  a "non-pro" is one who doesn't charge.  Too many CL girls don't act professionally...  scam, upsell, bait & switch, limited menu...   I too fell for it before I found TER.  The better ones, get TER reviews...  they can always "retire" after they graduate.  Sorry, I want to be with someone who expects to provide what is promised.
