I'm sure there are plenty of exceptions, but it seems like many of the better providers have two names instead of one. For example, Jane Doe instead of Jane. Jane is likely to be a massage-only provider, an older provider, or a sketchy BP provider, while Jane Doe is more likely to have a nice website and offer GFE.

Though I acknowledge that you note that there are many exceptions to your sentiments. I’m not frequently perusing backpage or other provider listings

I think two names is basically now a necessity because certain names become common and combinations of names help to reduce the redundancy (though not eliminate). It has less to do with he quality of provider.

Your post reminds when I’ve taken dates to Del Mar, and she places bets cause she likes the name of the horse.

With that said, I’m always amazed at the providers who take common first names like Madison, Taylor, Heather etc. without a last name.  How do you build a brand if you share your name with dozens of escorts.

Just now, I looked through the top ten providers in most of the cities with a list here at TER. In most cases, at least 8 or 9 of the top ten providers use at least a two word provider name. There were some exceptions. Some places didn't have enough providers listed to fill out a top ten (Canadian cities). Atlanta had three one name providers in the top ten. And all 10 of the top ten in London were single name providers.

Your theory is flawed. Two names to help make it unique.

Using two names helps to build their brand, especially in big cities drowning with 4 Heathers (or whatever) already, so using two names reduces confusion in the market. The top ladies, no matter if they use one name or two, are not only smart enough to build their brand, they are also smart enough to learn how the TER scoring system works, and they work hard to be perceived by clients as consistently terrific so they receive 10s and 9s.

or Jakefromstatefarm (because you know who he's affiliated with) hahaha. Nuff said.

As long as he irons his khakis from time to time from all that sitting, he'd be a great date :)

I chose mine because there is only one Terri Lynn that I'm aware of and she's a TS.  There was a porn star years ago but I don't think she's around now.

Can this be the same Dylan_York who seemed so upset by my comments over nothing only last week?  You are one odd lil' thing.  And quite a lil' marketer. Geezk!

...the "one name" provider is so far from reality it makes your first statement irrelevant. It may be true that many or most in the top 10 have two names but it doesn't prove you second point.

Now spend some time checking out all the "one name” providers and see if you can make a case for "Jane" being a sketchy BP provider, or message only, or older without a nice website and no GFE. Considering how many providers there are with one name in every city I think you'll have a difficult time.

They're bad for you. But "odd"?...why yes, very! Thank you :) I'll take that as a compliment never fitting in here lol

What's odd is you trying to figure me out. You won't. So don't even try. Ever ;)

I choose to use two names as like you said it helps to sort out others who use the same first name.  I also choose to do this as I feel that with Isabella Portia it's a combination of a name I used to use while working at another place and I liked the name with additional to that again I believe it helps in the branding of one's self.

Unless a single name is very unique, two names helps "unique-ify" the provider.

Today's lady mostly takes two names, when I started playing no one had two names and the market was small enough in Montreal that one name was rarely used by another one ,at least in the same demographic,so not really confusing .

About 4-5  years ago a whole new crop of ladies started in the field and they were using two names and now most followed the trend...
