Do you get a sense of gratification from your profession?  What I mean is, does it make you feel good to make someone else feel good who may, or may not, be able to enjoy the companionship of someone as yourself IRL.

I do love what I do, it is fulfilling it the fact that I can help men feel good, and also receive pampering and special attention where they do not normally receive it.

I feel like thru touch I can heal and release stress in ways I never could before.

I love knowing I am making a guys day and making them walk away feeling light on their feet, and a big smile on their faces!

I love the freedom my job gives me.. I have been able to work when I want to, and I can spend lots of time with my kids.

That raises the opposing question of course...does it "eat at you" if you don't think you've satisfied a customer?

yes it does bother me when a client walks away in anything less than a great mood.

I like to know that I can help someone relax and recharge. When I'm stressed out, the last thing I would want is to be disappointed by an unsatisfying social/sexual encounter with the opposite sex. If that's how my client feels after seeing me, then I've failed as a provider.

TY Caitlyn & Caroline (and possibly more in later posts)...
I have ALWAYS wondered when I see ads like "I love what I do", "I love 2 please u" etc. as to if they are just come-ons (advert talk) or being real.
I guess that some cud still b come-ons, but it nice 2 kno that there are those that are REAL bout it! :)

Jus bc of what we are doing does not negate that we are ppl and shud b considerate of each other. I TRULY appreciate Caroline's (and possibly more in later posts) concern/dismay if a client leaves "in anything less than a great mood", not jus to be selfish but in that it shows they care.

RANDOM: TO providers using aliases when posting. YOU ARE LOSING AN ADVERT OPPORTUNITY!
When reading your posts (I even check the EOM ones) I ALWAYS look to see if I can check your profile to see if u r in my area as I may consider u 4 a visit. The fact that I may be impressed with your post certainly does not hurt your chances! :)

I get a great feeling of accomplishment out of what I do and if I didn't enjoy it then I wouldn't be doing it. I get along with men so much better than females anyway and I had fantasized about this line from an early age. However I didn't actually start until I turned 40. Better late than never. Right?

I agree with Caitlyn as well...
I LOVE what I do, I love the clients I make sure leave with a big smile on their face (and most of the time one on mine)
I love the release I can offer some men sexually and mentally. I love that they share things with me that they may not share with anyone else...because I am safe to share such things with. I feel that part of my job is a listener, a sexual provider, a masseuse, and a counselor (which oronically is what I plan on finishing my degree in)
I have yet to truly ind a downside to this...and I believe it shows!

I like this question, because I believe that most providers, including myself, truly mean what they say, when they say they enjoy pleasing others.  I believe that is part of what draws us like-minded women to this "venture," whether or not we knew it in the beginning.  If there comes a day where I do not enjoy pleasing my clients, where I do not feel appreciated, and where I feel this is more of a job or a duty, rather than a pleasure, than all the money in the world will not prevent me from quitting.  Acting or feeling any other way would not be fair to the clients or to myself.

A little over a year ago, I made this decision, and yes, the leading factor was the need for donations.  Finding out how much I enjoyed getting to know individual clients, many who I would never have hooked up with "IRL," due to many factors including them being married or otherwise involved, not being my "type," them being too shy, or whatever was a learning moment for me.  Even more than discovering how much I enjoyed getting to know clients of varied backgrounds and finding something very special about each man and each encounter was definitely the pleasant surprise of feeling damn good about making my clients feel good for the amount of time we are together.  Looking at that smile on his face, sharing a soft dfk, watching him in the relaxed state of enjoying being taken to another place, and having him say he will take it all with him for the rest of the day, the week end or the week, is a wonderful feeling.  I say that "I love to please," and "I aim to please," and I truly, genuinely do.

When I first began this venture, I thought that there was a possibility that after my first date or two I would drive home feeling some type of guilt. Much to my surprise, I felt the opposite.  And I firmly believe the reason for this is that feeling of doing something good for someone else.

Lastly, (and I apologize for the length of my post, because I could go on and on about this topic) this "venture" has stimulated growth in myself.  Even though I consider myself to be open, genuine, non judgemental, and accepting of most, I soon realized that there were some clients who I wouldn't have given a second glance "IRL."  When some of these same clients became the men who made me laugh the hardest, feel the prettiest and sexiest, showed me the most respect and kindness, expressed the most appreciation for what I do, I realized that I was missing so much "IRL" by being less than accepting and a bit superficial.

I do not consider myself a super model, so I believe there are probably some men who wouldn't have given me the time of day IRL either, so I do realize this could work both ways, but I am specifically talking about the growth that took place inside me.  And that growth would not have happened if I would not have stumbled across this wild and crazy new venture and path in life.  I have never been sorry and I have never looked back, and I AM having the time of my life...pleasing my grateful clients.  :)

Great topic.

Angie ;)
XOXO

I love to watch their eyes as they open up the door and size me up, watching their pupils dilate to the size of saucers never gets old.

From what I've experienced, there are some good looking clients out there and then there's what I like to call the "Steve Urkels" MY FAVORITES! It's like making love to the really cute nerd you ignored in high school, the guy who knew he was way out of your league but was always pleasant and polite and appreciative of every second of your time. I was in Honors and always had these fantasies about grabbing my lab partner and taking him down deep while the entire class watched. I imagined the intensely gratifying look on his face, how he'd remember this day always and that'd he do all my assignments for the rest of the semester...Ahhh youth....Now the guys pay for the rest f the semester ;)

Dammit now I'm all worked up, any Urkels out there?
