I’ve been using it for years. Here is what I’ve found.
* It can take a few days to start having a noticeable effect. Though some claim it happens the next day.
* Black maca powder is better than yellow or red for men as I understand it. I tried both black and yellow and got the best results with black maca
* If you’re not drinking enough water its benefits will be noticeably less
* It definitely increases semen volume and erection quality. I used to get occasional dry pops. Not after starting with black maca.
* You need to give your body a break of either a couple of days a week or one week a month or you build up a tolerance for it.
* It has been shown to improve endurance slightly but measurably in endurance athletes. I have found this to be true.
* Some find that their sexual recovery time improves. Seems to vary from person to person. It helps me a bit. But not in a major way.
* When you first start using it your dose is probably about a teaspoon. After some time, you will need to take a tablespoon or two. But never much above that. If you are thinking you need to take more, take a look at that expiration date or take a break from it for a week or so.
* Make sure you pay attention to expiration date and keep it in a cool, dry place. I find its potency begins to decrease even before the expiration date. I’ve never tried refrigerating it.
If you’re taking maca, don’t neglect other things which help with sexual performance such as zinc.
