I have read around here that many young ladies are in SA, but I see that it is prohibited by the website to offer escort services (you can even report a profile if the woman is a known escort). Also many men write in their profiles "if you only want me to buy you expensive things go away from me, not looking for escort bla bla bla" ... I can't understand that difference or if the people who participate ther have a clear idea about the type of agreement that is promoted there. Accepting gifts, travels or a monthly amount, in exchange for company and fun doesn't make you also a professional?

Legality

There is an actual legal distinction between paying strictly for sex and gifting your mistress. Of course a lot of sugar activity falls pretty close to the line.

I would hazard to guess the main motivation for sugar daddies to avoid pro escorts is because they think they can get sex cheaper from non pros.

I agree with you completely

But even a lot of the guys right here on TER who frequent Sugar Babies seem to have a bias against finding "hookers in the Sugar Bowl" it makes ZERO sense to me either.

Actually what you describe is complete overkill

Here's the problem, Paying her rent in exchange for sex is still prostitution. Paying her rent as part of an ongoing relationship that involves her fucking you is not. Giving her cash in exchange for sex is prostitution. Giving her "shopping money" ie CASH as part of an ongoing relationship that involves her fucking you is not.

The biggest flaw in all this cloak and dagger stuff is that once you are fucking her, your risk of LE goes down to ZERO regardless of how you handle the money. Of course the cases are going to fall apart, the only time you are at risk in a sugar arrangement from an LE standpoint is during your initial "negotiation" If you offer a POT SB cash for sex and she ends up being an undercover officer, you are fucked and not in the good way. The good news, so far at least is that LE isn't known to run undercover SD/SB stings, not YET at least.
