You guys, this is America.  We're all standing around, watching them strip us of all our rights, perpetually.  I'm not just talking about 'within this community'... I'm talking about 'as American citizens'.  We used to be a Democracy.  The mere word is now a sham.  That Constitution only means something if we protect it.  We're not holding up our end of the bargain, and I wonder if it's not already too late?  Why are we letting them gradually, fully enslave us within a dictatorship?  As a nation?  We're no longer free.  SHAMerica is NOT free. 

And I don't know what to do as only one person, to stop them from communizing This Land's policy.  I feel so helpless and like nobody else cares.  I know you Americans are aware of the magnitude.  It makes me want to cry.  

really encourage me as I read your first paragraph.  I started to hum "Battle Hymn of he Republic" as I was reading.  It was truly inspiring.  Then you brought me back down again when you had no suggestions of what to do, you feel helpless, and you want to cry.  I was at least looking for SOMETHING I could do to help without trying to find it on my own and spend time separating worthy causes from scammers.  Who could I write to?  Where can I send a donation to someone who is fighting this?  I don't have time to get in the trenches with the warriors fighting this on a day to day basis, but maybe you know of something supportive that people like me can do to help the cause?  I think there are others here like me who might be inclined to help, but just need to know a legit place to put our help.

Are you lamenting the "right wing" attack on our civil liberties, or the "left wing" attack on our financial freedoms, ie Socialism? You do mention "communizing" this land's policiy, so the closest thing I can think of are the wildly radical attacks on our free market society by the so-called "Democratic Socialists"

 
I don't think you will get ANY disagreement about FOSTA/SESTA, which was inflicted on us by virtually ALL politicians,  but you say it's about "more" than that. A little clarification would be helpful.

Maybe one place to start is for people to stop clamoring for government to be the solution to every problem. A government large enough and powerful enough to regulate everything "for our own good" is equally able to restrict our freedoms and take things away when it chooses. In the past, even oppressive governments were limited in their ability to control individual actions. With today's technology, (AI, etc.), that's no longer the case. As one example you can look at China's "social credit" system which assigns people a score based on how they adhere to the government's standard of good citizenship. If your score falls too low, you can no longer buy a train/plane ticket and other social benefits are denied you. It's easy to assume that something like that can only happen in a Communist system but, IMHO, that's a naive and dangerous assumption. Government is a necessary evil, not our salvation, and it needs to be limited and kept in check. So, the next time people to start hyperventilating about some issue, and shouting for Big Brother Federal Government to step in and fix things, maybe they should think again.

The late Harry Browne wrote a philosophy book of sorts called Freedom in and Unfree World.  His basic premise was that rather than throw yourselves under the tracks of the state tanks, or otherwise ruin yourself in direct confrontation with the state, you use your intelligence to sidestep the state.  The "hobby" is a sort of Browne-ian solution to criminalized sexuality.  We use our brains to get what we want without standing in front of the state firing squad.

Don't worry about the government, let the government worry about you.   (I suppose some attribution is due JFK for that.)

So apparently I'm not supposed to answer this thread in any way.  

I'm in duel-laptops, electronics hell and 3 or 4 days ago, I had a conglomerated response to everyone all typed out, and just at the end, all windows dove into the laptop's suicidal abyss, never to be seen again.  

Days later I attempted again, but to no avail.

In the event this thread is even still of interest,, I've opted instead to answer each reply individually vs wholly, to spare any quota left on your amount of daily required reading.   And apparently I'm a little slow, so patience, lol.  I will get to each one in time, while I don't know what my current device has in store for me today.  Thank you for your patience.

To reverse any of this damage would involve the trenches and sacrifices everyone's too "busy" for.  But beyond that, even IF everyone aware were ready to roll up their sleeves and dive in, we're not enough in numbers to ignite and win such a war.  The majority of our masses are oblivious to the current state, as designed.  And with no guns... what are we just going to throw our smart phones at them for irony, lol?

The Constitution was written with no instructions to abort if things go wrong.  And with plenty of interpretation room to spare, it was written to be comprehended within a flexible, per-need basis FOR the gov.  Like our written laws... you don't like how they apply to you, just reinterpret their meaning through a great lawyer if you have the monetary means.

But let's just be honest.  Yeah no one wants to put forth the effort and time, but really, we're all just scared.  Scared to stand up to whatever you call the rendition of this gov... scared we'll end up in an internment camp for dissident citizens, or worse, we just "disappear" or our assassination made to look like another mass-casualty by one of our own mentally-whack civilians.  If they're audacious enough to take out Presidents and celebrities before the whistle blows... we're not exempt.  Their "design" is purely master-minded effectiveness and they are proud.

So I hope this sheds light on my overwhelming despair of feeling alone and helpless, knowing the combined effort that's needed, while the majority aren't willing to stick up for themselves, bla, bla, bla.  I'm not a hypocrite and don't mean to seem like a walking contradiction... I too share some degree of hesitation, but mostly, I see aspects from all sides in what little I have to offer in resolution, and a lack of concern by most that positions me on this island.  I'm more brave with support.

I don't know what all that stuff you listed means or if they exist. But whe you say forced immunization. Do you mean vaccination? Many diseases are coming back because people are against it.  
First I was going to say that not caring about anything was the answer. Then I shouldn't care about vaccination since I don't have kids. But it's kind of dumb to be against it.

It would appear that you aren't anywhere near as dumb as you think you are. Or does that in itself make you dumb??? lol

 
Kelsi, through sheer volume of "points" does actually hit on some valid issues, but then again she also proves herself to be kind of "ditzy" on other points, not the least of which is obligatory vaccinations. I completely agree that being against vaccinations is not only dumb, but it puts the rest of us at risk at the same time.

 
I do like the fact that she appears to support both the First and Second Amendments, but I have to qualify my statement by saying she "appears" to. Her post is so disjointed and rambling I honestly am not sure exactly what she is for and what she is against even after trying to read her post multiple times. One thing I am pretty sure of, her and Maddy Ohare should really share a couple of bowls together sometimes, I can only imagine the nonsense they would be spouting after getting good and REALLY fucking baked together. lol

I am pro-immunization / vaccination to eradicate diseases and eliminate spreading.  I believe it's how we ruled out polio, mumps, rubella, and so much more.

What I AM opposed to is the death toll spawned by vacc-itini side effects, not to mention studies have discovered links to autism, SIDS, learning disabilities, and so much more.

Don't think odds of 2 deaths in 1 million vaccinations is significant?  You would at the funeral of YOUR child's?

The thesis is wide in spectrum.  It's based upon the straw that broke my camel's back... a rant of 'the rights we have given up as Americans'.  Or are in the process of... I'm rhetorical in asking, "when is enough?"  I then listed several, diverse example premises that I'm rather passionate about and wouldn't have otherwise listed.

I am reminded though, why it's useless to post here, sitting on The Click side-lines of that seriously vintage David Elms mentality group this board is famous for.  Along with a misinformed stereotype of escorts, there's nothing intelligent that could possibly come out of my mouth, and "ditzes", who surely all partake in the cannabis trend btw, are further incapable of connecting paragraphs to support a cognitive post.  "It appears."

I've found it to be rather strenuous for the avg TER reader to ingest the 3+ paragraph post voluntarily.  For once, elaboration is the very element I purposely withdrew, so as to avoid ridicule for "being too wordy".  But this is obviously a prime example of a seemingly-necessary-need-for-over-explaining, kind of post.

The mods didn't help my "defense" (which I didn't remember needing) by deleting the whole first paragraph... an important one, since generally it's the introduction to its following material.  ...A general rant (thanx mods!) over losing yet another online advertising venue.  A huge plague of frustration for us all I'm sure, initialized by our gov.

Still, the content to support my stance is far too extensive to describe outside of chapters... knowledge obtained through years of interest and study.  Great thing about the Internet is you too can search any of my [apparently unconventional] premises you might be unfamiliar with.  I myself avoid discussions I don't perceive well.

And I hesitated another 2 days after finding further response (don't subscribe to notifications), to foster any kind of input, thinking I'm surely now beating a dead horse over a post this old.

A "disjointed" passage and the curse of blindly understanding the pros and cons of topics most label as beliefs - beliefs they never question - is not the same thing.  I'm far more interested in seeking truth than being compartmentalized within opposing sides of a belief system.  Questions challenge the truth, sought truth alters my ever-changing views, and when I'm wrong about my views, I learn something.  I consider it growth.  I don't need to pick a side to spark a discussion.

Plus I never claimed to have answers in resolution.  Just thought some reiteration on reality might stir up enough emotion for a joint effort in saying, "enough".  Silly, really... while there's a huge distinction between debating and trolling.
