Everyone else knows ya but I was gone from TER when you joined.

I quit hobbying for a couple years and know what you mean about starting up again.  

Two years ago, I relied on my old handle and review history to start the verification.

you're going to have to jump through some hoops or should I say jump in some !
you're just going to have to go see a couple of  
ladies that she would accept but the don't have such tight screening measures
hopefully it will turn out to have been worth all your round about extra work and you'll end up having a great time with this lady
she may have good reason to be screening extra extra carefully she might be hiding it from her husband or she may be on the run from some kind of a stalker or something like that you never know!
or maybe she's just super super careful
there's plenty of ladies that like to see newbies or experience people like yourself to just don't have recent reviews or recent

Sometimes when you tie yourself up with an interesting work project or stumble into a genuine relationship that really elicits that quaint old-fashioned notion from the nether regions of your mind, interest in the hobby can wane. All good things come to an end, of course, and often returning to the wrong side of town you'll find all your Sloopys have run away. Well, they can't hang on forever.

The screeners treat you like an unfaithful cad, and seem to enjoy giving you the runaround.

At such times, if you enjoy unraveling conundrums, you could worse than seek out the classics, those providers who have become legends in the annuals of reviewers. Though some may be mutton dressed as lamb, and the courtesans trained in the ancient arts might be on the cusp of maturity and no longer making the top-100 charts, they may possess the savvy to see your golden promise under the coarse reputation of an on-again-off-again monger.

By demanding nothing and offering much, the risk they take will hold the possibility of suitable reward. "Seeking an extended arrangement," or, "hoping to develop a no-strings relationship," are very seductive to these women, simply because they sound so passé and innocent. Encounters with no hint of impropriety at the outset, can conclude the hour with very exciting paths to mutual satisfaction.

The adventure of the hunt can be relived in this pursuit, all in a surprisingly short amount of time. Almost worth the price of admission just to find clever ways to cut in line.

If this doesn't work, bribe the screener.

I got lucky in that the girl I wanted to see wanted to see me too and was looking for a reason to ok me not cull me. She ended up accepting the word of her client who was good friends with a girl I had helped out years before when she was in trouble and had mentioned it to him.  
     I guess my point is, if you know enough people someone is bound to know someone else who may be able to help you. Have you explored the networking aspect?
Moral of the story: It pays to be nice to people.

Another shitty thing is, I doesn't help that the few independent girls I've seen in the last month are seasonal / part-timers who literally disappear for days or weeks on end before responding to any email, let alone a reference verification email.

To spend a little time back in the minors, and work your way back up to the major leagues.  Perhaps go see a cheap Indy that is more newbie friendly to use as a reference.  And get that P411 renewed.  Or maybe she will take your work info if you are willing to share that detail.  Good luck.

 This is what happens when you're gone for too damn long.  
   
 Many ladies have a strict policy and only take references from INDEPENDENT ladies currently active and seen in the last 6 months.   That's cool and I already knew some ladies (the kind I'd want to see) take their verification very seriously.    
   
 But it sucks monkey testicles that I have trouble getting verified cuz I haven't had problems like this since I was a complete noob. This particular hot lady I'm trying to get verified with doesn't accept agency references or old references.  I can't use vast majority of the ladies I've reviewed in the last several years as a reference cuz I haven't seen them recently.  Worse, my P411 expired but it wouldn't help anyways cuz most of my OKs are pretty old.

He is just venting guys...

DA - If you just explain them that you have been out due to personal reasons, I'm sure they would understand... Just renew your P411 and you are good to go..  But I am sure you know that already...

I've had gaps in my hobbying too, and currently on hiatus as well...

just re-join P411 and see a couple of gals who list themselves as "Newbie Friendly," requiring no OKs.  Then get them to OK you and you're off.

Why an emphasis on Indy ladies for references? There are 2 ladies in particular that I see who are agency girls and I will most definitely keep seeing them, they rock my world. Will anyone chime in on why the Indy emphasis for references?

I would see a couple low budget girl's that are local and ask if you can use them for a reference.  I also tell them they can check me out here and another site i've put reviews on. If that doesn't do anything for them, then I move on until I have what's needed. I don't usually do reviews, so I tend to stay away from providers who demand first and last name and work address and phone number. I understand everyone wants to be sure everythings on the up and up. I'm with you on the providers being gone to long or they retire, just have to start over.

And just because a review is old does not mean I have not seen her. I see many ladies more than once. But I do not see any point for a second review because they are just as awesome as the first time!  Same for p411 and all these other sites.  
Ladies need to understand a reference from an old friend is just as good as one from a lady you have seen for the first time
