I have noticed that a lot of mean comments have been posted on this board.  But I have had a few post rejected that were not mean in anyway, shape of form.

For example, a comment about providers that claim to be independent but have an "assistant".  That seems to be an agency to me.  And I will not see agency girls.  Yet the moderator did not post it.  Why?

Yet, the moderator allows post from members saying go F--- yourself to other members.

How is that allowed?  It does nothing to help providers or hobbyists.  Yet my posts merely asking questions and stating observations is rejected.

Just a comment about independents with assistants.  I happen to be one of them.  Independents that is.  And I do use service of an assistant.  In short time that I've been working in this fashion I found that it does indeed make some of my dates suspect that I am part of an agency. Could not be further from truth.  

If a lady does indeed use outside help it usually means that (1) she has regular 9 - 5 life and can't answer calls while in office/school/home
(2) she want someone to be aware where she is at 2am when she is on outcall.

Possibly that is the reason.

I would think your post would past muster, yet we have to accept that this is a moderated board and the modertor has to call 'em as they see 'em.

If I was you, I would direct my query directly to the moderator by PM and see what they say.

If you get no response, then go up the ladder and send an inquiry to administration via the "contact us" link.  They are pretty good at getting back to people.

I was under the impression that a mini review is okay if you have a full review posted and approved already. It's spelled out that way in the guidlines. Wouldn't that mini review need to include the providers name? I tried posting a mini and it never went up. I've seen plenty of mini reviews go up on many boards and they always include the providers name.
I have had the same problem as the original poster here. Most of what I try to post is totally non confrontational and follows the guidelines set forth by TER. Most of my posts never go up. Multiple PM's to the moderator of this board and the LA board have never been answered.
I won't be surprised if this doesn't get posted.
Very frustrating as I'd like to have a voice in this community.

I am sure the moderator would not approve a message which says go f...yourself in it. If there is a message like that on board it must have been posted by an unmoderated member! I also did a search for your posts and found all the messages regarding agencies:

I hope that you are not referring to me. I posted as a joke that if someone cannot use his/her real name then they could shut the f_ _ _ up. That was supposed to be a joke. That's why I had a smiley icon in front of it. However, I do find the use of aliases when people are belittling someone else to be cowardly. But, I also did not direct that comment toward anyone in particular. Is you alias Gregory 12?  Actually, I like Gregory 12's posts.

I can sympathasize to an extent, since I am new here as well and there can be some unspoken rules to get used to on any board.

However I've had just about all of my posts allowed, although some did take 2 or 3 days before they were posted. By that time the thread was off the front page anyway, but at least they were posted.

All in all though this site is 10 times better than another I first joined... If you look at a history of any random member on that site, you'll find that 75% of their members have had literally, half of their posts deleted. I had three of my first four messages deleted, with no emails or explanations from the mods. I was polite to a fault in all my posts on that board, carefully read the rules and had broken none of them.

When I finally got a reply it was "this board is for experienced hobbyists only and was not intended for newbies. We're tired of spending time answering questions" (I had used the search function before posting too. Somehow they decided that spending time deleting all newbies posts over and over was less energy than a quick explanation.) Needless to say I have nothing but disgust for that board and the way it is run, and the people that run it. Yet no one can post anything there questioning anything or asking if anyone else has had problems, because all posts of that nature are deleted immediately.

So all in all I find this site to be a pretty decent one. My only wish would be that the mods would email a quick explanation on any posts that are deleted or not allowed. A fairly minor complaint though considering my first board.

(I won't post the board name of that other place as I don't want to wear out my welcome here, but I REALLY despise them and really want to find out if others had the same problem as me.)
