I posted this a few days ago with some replies and one PM sent to me. It was about a provider who posted on another site that I wanted to meet me half way. She wanted me to wire her 50% of the donation prior to telling me anything...etc...She got very snide with me and so I told her bye.

Update: I went to the site today and noticed she wasn't on it. I then went to history and clicked on her site and it said she had been removed for scamming.

Well let me tell you I finally did something by my gut and telling her good bye.

So my advice, if something doesn't sound right it probably isn't.

Thanks again for everyones input!!

Reminds me of another truism "think with your big head, not the littel head"

We should all learn a lesson from you.  It's easy for us to recognize "something's not right" in the light of day...  much harder to think clearly when we really want something to happen.
My hat's off to ya & thanks for posting.

i was on a site that requested a 50% deposit to start the verification process and became very rude when i refused to make any kind of deposit.  i was happy to provide them with standard info but no money up front.  You have got to be kidding.  as it tutns out they got no money or info.  sorry i did not right down sites name but its at least to me if they want money up front and are gonna try to force yo to use a cc you should probably already be running the other way.  i do know this was a well reviewed provider so somebodt is willing to pay 50% down before they are even given an appt.  why?  there are so may grat ladies out there that dont have appt verifications that may cost half of your donation
