Although not new to TER I only recently have begun browsing and engaging the general boards so my apologies if this subject has already been well covered in the past. Have never really paid a lot of attention to astrology but recent and intense experiences with one lady has made me reconsider. She is a "Scorpio" and those born under that star tend to be the MOST sexual of all (according to what I have read). On occasion you will see a provider's profile mention their sign. Question to all...have you ever considered it as part of your screening process? Because based on my recent experience I may! Also, might be interesting to conduct a poll and some further research of my own.
So for Scorpio, the least compatible signs are Leo and Aquarius. So if there isn't a match there, it wouldn't matter if she was a nympho an was giving it away for free! lol
Another thing general horoscopes don't take into account is birthplace & birth time. That gives you your rising sign (secondary personality characteristics) along with other signs based on where a certain planet was when you were born.
So for example, I am Cancer (water) with Sagittarius (rising sign - fire) and some other fire signs scattered throughout. Which means the personality traits for Sagittarius comes through stronger than the Cancer ones. Typically Cancers don't get along with Sagittarius but since that fire is so dominant in me, we tend to be like BFFs. My ATF is a Taurus and what they say about Cancer/Taurus is right.on.the.money (pun not intended). We are scarily alike and the sex is unbelievable.
My recent photographer, he & I are literally about 5 hours a part, identical birthdays! and we are like twins.
Some men do take it into consideration and I certainly do too. Chemistry is definitely more than just physical attraction. There is more to horoscopes and compatibility than this, but this is plenty for now. :

I dated a Thai Girl who worked for an agency and she did "readings" and kept track of the astrological charts of ALL the girls. I never had to wonder how old any of them were as I knew every one of their exact birthdates and believe me, some of them were a LOT different than what was shown on their internet ads, but just about all of them could pull it off.
Speaking of superstitions, don't even think about coming up behind me at the black jack table, seeing that I have a stiff twenty against the dealer showing a six and tell me "Well that should be a winner" not if you like your teeth that is. lol I have lost track of how many three, four and five card "twenty ones" the dealer has pulled in that exact situation.
I am half Sicilian, half Chinese and a life long gambling degenerate. My mind tells me superstition is bullshit, I openly mock "God" but I still catch myself "knocking on wood" lol
One of the greatest of the great second generation of heart surgeons, those who were doing 2 or 3 open heart surgeries a week successfully (a lot in those days, what with fighting Indians and avoiding Dinosaurs) was at Georgetown in Washington while I was doing my residency at George Washington. He would rotate through the DC VA Hospital, a truly great VA hospital at that time. After finishing an open heart surgical procedure, her would sprinkle a drug used intravenously to treat arrhythmias all over the open chest. This was patently silly since sprinkling the drug over the open chest would do nothing, it was an IV medication given continuously. He did it anyway. Finally one day after his residents and fellows had spent months convincing him it was really too silly to do, he closed a case without "the sprinkle". Unfortunately that patient died post operatively and he never skipped the "sprinkle" again. Pure superstition, but there is one approach to a certain medical situation that I always use because of the way a single case turned out (very badly.) when I used the common approach. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than scientific.
That said - honestly, if astrology turns you on- why not? However, getting accurate data month (possible..) year (don't think so...) is going to be impractical.
However, if you take a gander at your local board, you MAY find some providers being wished a happy birthday and this may be a way to figure out what the birth month is. As far as a year is concerned... well, there have been a LOT of posts on that subject - good luck!
A cynic (such as myself) will say that an astrological sign is at least as useful as, for example, reading some reviews. Of course, I honestly think that a random number generator would do as well and involve considerably less effort. But your money - your choice!
I've never encountered a provider who mentioned astrology, but I tried to hook up with a married woman who was looking for an affair but using astrology to guide her decision. She requested both my regular horoscope sign and my Chinese horoscope sign, then declared that we had incompatible signs and didn't need to meet.
