I say something like "who would spend 4 grand for a sex doll" the cashier responds "it's a popular item, it has all 3 functional holes & guys don't have to spend money on hookers".. We laughed out loud...

By next year, these dolls should have an AI app with the ability to learn and respond like SIRI or Cortana.  Android sex dolls such as you see in the HBO series Westworld are not far off. Including the ability to walk. Their skin will be warm, they will be able to move very much like a real woman and respond to stimuli. They will talk to you, even moan during sex.
You will be able to customize your doll, probably choose a look alike to your favorite porn star, or something very close to a movie star.  
From what I could tell on their website, the AmigaToy sex doll is just an upgraded version of the blowup doll. Not worth $3999.00 in my opinion. The higher functioning androids will be considerably more than $4k.

Since I can only hire a provider once every two or three months, it helps a little.  But they're only $25 or so.  No way in hell would I buy the expensive one, and then have to wait 5 years before seeing my next provider.
