If you cannot put your finger on it in that manner have you noticed how some discussion forum (not GD) have gone to the sewers, evolving to be nothing more than ad posting havens for providers? Have you noticed your own regional board go down the crapper in that manner?

It is not only the moderator’s responsibility to maintain decorum on the board, but it is my opinion it is their responsibility to see that the board they are moderating does not go to hell in a hand basket.

No alias needed.

When moderators allow a provider to start posting how her clients are all sub-human, etc. -- even under an alias -- I think this serves a very valuable public service.

Some clients just aren't realistic in their thinking. Aliased providers spewing that sort of data puts hobbyists on notice to modify their expectations.

In fact, when providers do this via an alias, it is much more powerful than were they doing it using their real handle.

If it was "SuperProviderFromHell" (real handle) posting; clients could easily say "Oh, that's just her and I've never seen her. No biggie."

But when it is "SuperSecretProvider" (fake handle) posting about how much she hates all her clients; all the clients are thinking "Wow! This may be a woman I've already seen and I thought enjoyed my company!"

This makes the client a bit more hesitant to shell out the big bucks, a bit more skeptical of her 51st orgasm in 3 minutes, a bit more skeptical overall.

In other words, when moderators allow this; in aggregate, it likely helps hold rates down.

So I think providers, especially aliased, should be allowed to perform this valuable public service all they'd like.

As for the OP, I know of which mod you speak.  He sees the "prime directive" as being turn the boards into a desolate highway, full of billboards with provider ads on them.  To his credit, he has done an excellent job of that.
I don't miss him a bit, a don't give a rat's ass what happened to him.  Maybe his "good" twin from a parallel universe sent him thru a black hole and took over.

When providers bash the shit out of hobbyists while hiding behind aliases, it hurts business generally for all providers.

It make a difference in a million subtle ways.

It takes the guy who would usually pay $300 for a visit; and he's not willing to stretch that extra few bucks for $325. Because he has in the back of his mind that provider who says she secretly vomits after each client.

It makes him much more hesitant about verification info. Why give such info to someone who might hate you? So verification takes longer. Longer between bookings for that reason means fewer bookings.

In aggregate, this serves to lower the prices that providers can charge.

Do I LIKE getting bashed? No. And if you had any sense and looked at my postings, you'd see that I have taken many providers to task over their bashing and bad generalizations about hobbyists.

But, in general, when a provider starts bashing the crap out of hobbyists, especially from behind an alias; I believe it ultimately helps all hobbyists by:

> letting them know there are seem women out there who dislike them intensely
> keeping prices lower in aggregate

If that makes me a whatever-gina, who cares?

I, for one, believe it is to my benefit that I am aware that there are women out there who think I am an inferior subhuman. It helps me develop protocols that mostly weed them out of my hobby pool.

especially from providers using their "real name" I think it is more beneficial to hobbyists to know who to avoid, than to put a muzzle on those providers.

The same thing goes, up to a point, with stupid posters. I would rather have their posts available for ridicule than single handedly judge them too stupid for public consumption. Again, I stated "up to a point". There are a few posters who have pushed to envelope on "stupid posts" to the breaking point. I am not issuing a "carte blanche" on stupid posts, just giving the board a taste of the type of inane posts are made on an hourly basis that never will see the light of day.

As there are a few on here I would like to avoid but alas, they are posting under a handle that they can choose not to give out upon requesting an appointment. I do want to know if I might be meeting a guy who continually bashes providers/women. I don't want to see him. But I have no way of finding out who he is unless he wants to be upfront and give me his handle.

I don't know if he's just pushing buttons on here or if that is the way he really feels and might just snap when I am alone with him.

Also John, I am sure providers feel the same when the seemingly woman hating hobbyists unabashedly bash providers all to hell. I know that I oftern wonder if I have seen these men, though I doubt it.

Let's look at it this way,provider comes on here and is perfectly cordial and says the right thing (or she would never get any business), BUT in reality she loathes those she sees but is  good enough at hiding this fact.

Then there are the women haters who come on here and bash away but in order to see a provider, play differently when contacting them and in their presence (or they would never see anyone).

This board being relatively anonymous and the fact the anyone can post under an alias kind of blurs these two scenarios. Do we ever really know who we are dealing with? Does board persona really matter? Is what people are in real life all that matters? questions to ruminate upon no doubt...but really is senseless bashing on here that necessary?

No names of course, but there are some posters who are 180 out from their personality with providers in person.  That shouldn't be a surprise when we see so many instances in real life.  The louder some people scream about immoral behavior in terms of fire and brimstone the more often they seem to do those things themselves.

The very format of boards like this gives people annonymity.  Aliases seem to only serve one purpose, which is what you are talking about here.

Total truth!

No matter how many times you've been called on it, you continue to twist one you wrote into something we are too stupid to understand.  Since this has happened to so many of us that don't seem to be on the same intellectual plane as you are.  Maybe you just can't write.  Maybe your plane is on a much lower level than you think!
Or maybe you are just so over stuffed with BS that no one freaking cares what you write!  I vote for #3 !

See how efficient this is.  In one brief statement the poster demonstrates he can’t count (it was nowhere near 1000 words), he has a diminished attention span (he complains a post that takes under a minute to read is too long), and his comprehension is about that of a mid-grade school student (has severe trouble picking out the topic sentence in even a short post).  Very good!

For extra credit anyone in the class can write An epistemological discussion of what Just Scratching actually thought he was saying.  Literally he is objecting that John said nasty providers drive down costs.  Does that mean Just Scratching actually believes nasty providers drive UP prices?  Maybe Just Scratching actually IS one of those nasty providers and really does want her prices driven up.  I’m not ready to accept that as a proven hypothesis but it could be true.

You remember the mosquito, right?  A very small creature, whose only voice is a high pitched whine.  Who was put on the earth with no purpose other than to be a total annoyance to all other forms of life.(well actually they do serve as treats for lizards, and they also serve as an intermediary host for things like Lyme disease, Malaria, and the like)  But I digress.
I do hope you win.  But remember, other than the occasional whining noise close to ones ear, a mosquito is really never appreciated until he has been swatted, and thrown in the ash tray!

1.  Don't like my POV, ignore my posts.  It will help you feel better.

2.  Want me to post less, stop replying to my initial posts and I won't reply to your reply.

3.  If you do reply to my post know in advance I will usually reply in kind.  You be polite, I will be polite, whether I agree with your POV or not.  You reply with a string of personal attackes on me accented with sewer scum and I will almost certainly reply in a way that seems to get your blood pressure up.

On the topic of blood pressure I seriously suggest you might want to back away from the computer screen for a few days.  Find a nice young lady and try to relax.  This last post of yours sounds like you are taking this far too seriously.
