Why is it acceptable for anyone to show up for an appointment with horrible BO/Breath?...and then get all pissy when bbbj is refused or DATY is refused and for the ladies: a bad review is posted?

If it does not smell good...odds are it is going to taste HORRIBLE. I prefer to not render an involuntary Roman Shower due to a putrid smelling partner.

I am not being gender specific I am just asking a question.

I love being a provider I really really do, but nothing can turn a session into a train wreck faster than bad BO or bad breath.....esp if the person with the stanky ass refuses to take a shower/bath.

I find it a ridiculous waste of perfectly good bandwidth to add that clients show up clean for our session. Why should any of us have to remind another adult to maintain their hygiene and grooming?...obviously I need to go into detail about bo.

It is such a great NECESSARY addition to any session to take a shower and not just rinse off..but utilize hot water, soap, deodorant, and a washcloth, clean yourself....and completely brush your mouth...not just your teeth. It escapes me why anyone would work all day, or see several clients and not want to be squeaky clean for a session?

I'd like to mention that suggesting a shower is not always a guarantee that either party will actually have one.

And to those people who respectfully suggest we shower our partners(both provider and client)..part of my job is NOT teaching basic hygiene to an adult. The downside for them for not being hygienically sound, is the refusal of services or walking away with NO compensation.

The majority of the population knows what it's like to be and feel clean...for those that don't, me or the collective you trying in an hour or two to "train" them is a waste of my/anyone's  time and probably will result in the person feeling embarrassed.

One persons clean is another person's hygiene nightmare. I have no problem refusing certain things if the person/area is not clean and smelling fresh...and for the guys, if your partner for the duration is unclean...walk out.

Taking this to the PO board will do nothing for the guys who fall into this category. Placing it on the GENERAL discussion board meets both targets...clients and providers.

I can't really understand why or how adults have to be reminded to bathe? They probably do the same thing with their doctors and dentist....just roll out of bed and show up in the waiting room....which is GROSS!!!

i am not a hospital aide/orderly, it is not my place to provide someone with basic hygienic upkeep. and you are absolutely correct when you say that the mere suggestion of such is only going to result in awkwardness and embarrassment, not really conducive to setting the mood we are here to provide.

if i were to encounter to someone who clearly lacked the knowledge and/or ability to keep themselves fresh and clean, then i would simply refuse any envelope and allow them to make a polite exit.

It is simple common courtesy/consideration of others in all walks of our everyday life, not just 'here'.
In line at the convenience store, Walmart, market, Chinese takeout, Dairy Queen (outside! that is just nasty!), etc.
Many are unaware (or just don't care) how much their poor hygiene affects others.

Worked in a small, family owned restaurant in my late teens.
The fry-cook/salad guy was the most foul-smelling human I've ever (to this day) encountered.
The owner gave him more than a few chances to 'clean up' his act; finally trying through the humiliation of telling him in front of his co-workers.
He acknowledged, but kept up his poor hygiene and was fired because of it.

The following day, his wife came in to beg for his job (said he was too humiliated to ask himself).
One of my buds who was working told me she smelled worse than her husband!!
Just a (bad) habit for some to be perpetually unclean.
And I'm sure this habit is passed on from parent(s) to children.
Not meant as any form of justification/excusal for this behavior, just an observation/POV.

While my brush with this syndrome was brief and non-intimate, this is something I would not/could not tolerate on any kind of personal level.

Ladies, you have my sympathies and complete support in every aspect of this subject.

whether it is halitosis, severe body odor, clothes that smell like gahd dayem mildew...FYI when your clothes smell like that it rubs off on your body...do you realize how truly unpleasant that smell is?...if I smelled like that would you want to bed me? I mean c'mon now WTF...if I can smell it from 6 feet away...you sure as hell must be able to smell yourself...I know it is getting close to summer...we all sweat from the heat...common courtesy says "TAKE A SHOWER"...common sense says "if your mouth has a bad taste GUESS WHAT, it also has a bad smell"....and tis the season NOT to let your clothes linger in the washing machine...this is what produces that nasty mildew smell...EWWWWWW

Guys who knnow how to wash their ass are already clean, those that don't aren't changing because Allure embarrassed them into it. They most assuredly think that she is talking about someone else.

But as you recount it isn't.  People often justify any flaw in themselves as "acceptable", or "not really that bad".

If it was an isolated case of not being clean we wouldn't keep seeing the same topic having to be posted.  You'd think everyone supports "clean" but we'll see id some "Stinky is Good" posters come forward.

can't remember having a problem with BO or bad breath, whether with a civie or provider. I have read plenty of reviews here on TER where guys were so reluctant to, as usually is their own words, "waste time" with a shower that was offered. I hope I never get that desperate for sex, that five minutes in the shower seems like I'm going to be missing out on too much.
The only time I ran into a problem was not due so much as poor hygiene, but five o'clock shadow. It was my first p4p, and the lady was kind enough, for both of our sakes, after our shower together, to give me one of her razors. She wasn't going to let me get anywhere near her kitty with a five o'clock shadow. I was a bit taken aback at first, but not offended, just embarrassed. She's still my ATF and friend today. In order to really have fun together it really helps not to have too big or fragile of an ego.

I have not had that problem in my professional sex life either Matt...but in my personal sex life....I refused to sleep with a few ladies and have had to tell some ladies to go wash their ass.

Some major downsides for having been married practically every year of my adult life, but one upside is that sex nearly always began after both of us having showered. Doesn't lend for a lot of spontaneity, but plenty of good times orally.

I dunno some people  figure they are still as fresh as when they showered and brushes,flossed and gargled in the morning but after a 9 or 10 hr day and come to see you RIGHT AFTER work and don't bother to ask can they freshen up. Eh I've pissed in having to ask someone to gargle with mouthwash or wash themselves because they are adults and all that and maybe horniness trumps clear thining and propler hygiene. *sigha*

Then there are some who don't try or just don't think or think they don't smell bad enough the need to brush their teeth and then gargle with mouthwash and at the very least give their downstairs a good once-over with soap/bodywash and water lol *massages forehead*

After reading all the posts from providers about the importance of cleanliness, as a new hobbyist, I've upgraded my personal hygiene from "Presentable" to "So Damn Clean I Squeak and Women Stop To Smell Me in the Supermarket" before calling on a provider.  And the strange part is: I LIKE it! After 30 years of nothing but hurried showers I have discovered that soaking in a steamy bath with lots of bubbles, a washcloth and scrubbing brush is relaxing, enjoyable and guaranteed to get all those nooks, crannies and folds really clean.  (Note: I've also discovered that the cute little yellow duckie my wife keeps in the soap tray doesn't just float and squeak; the little tail vibrates like crazy! Wonder what she does with that?? hmmm?)  

In fact, in anticipation of a fun time Friday morning, I'm going to have my very first manicure. The ladies on this board have impressed me with the importance of not scratching those pretty pink parts and my nails really are in bad shape.

So see, this hobby and this board is helping make guys smell better and have a better time with all you cuties out there.

I have quit providing twice due to bad smelling clients. Both times it involved the guy having recently taken a bm recently and not washing up afterwards and the smell was so obvious. I just left. It was way too much to deal with.

Old, matted pubic hair smashed up against his nuts and penis, that have been in the same pair of underwear (boldly streaked) for 6 weeks.  Armpit hair caked with white powder from the constant application of some cheap stick deodorant, that hasn't begun to diminish the stench. None of his 4 teeth have been brushed in a decade, and one is loose enough to fall out at any time during DFK.
His thick black hair on his head hasn't been washed in 3 months, and leaves a stain on your pillow case.

Until he has a big fat hairy smelly ass in his face, or a very smelly dick near his nose..he will not get it...GTM has a proven track record of being clean....as far as I know no one he has seen has EVER complained....so he is not part of the stanky ass crew and probably cannot EMPATHIZE...

......there are ladies who have had to throw out couches, sheets, mattresses, and change hotel rooms, close up shop for the day... bc clients have left huge skid marks on their furniture or the man stunk so bad she had to air out her house and scrub her entire incall down.....oh and when my friend had to throw out her 2K white couch and her client KNEW HE RUINED IT DO YOU THINK HE OFFERED TO REPLACE IT or to have it cleaned? NO! and that is not part of the deal....it is not part of anything except for part of his non washed shitty stanking ass dingle berries left on her couch.

Many providers take the time to be meticulously clean....including fresh manicure, fresh pedicure, waxed from head to toe, flossed, teeth brushed, mouthwash used, and our entire body scrubbed and exfoliated....I love me some GTM and he knows that but he can scream all he wants to, he will never understand the huge GROSS OUT FACTOR.

Offer some mints, gum, toothpaste and brush. Grab a wash cloth and some soap. Offer a shower.

Everyone does not have the same level of freshness as do you and I.

I remember one of my very first BBBJ's.
Urine was what I was engulfed in. I could not continue. Think about this. If you have a date mid afternoon a shower is in order. Bend over and wash those privates. In private, they will be much more enjoyable.

I don't give hygiene lessons. But if I offer a shower and they decline and I then noticed they needed some cleaning, more than I could stomach, I would end the date. I don't care who he is. Has this ever happened? Yes, the once. I guess I am lucky that except for some tobacco and maybe teeth that were brushed that morning, my friends pass the clean test. But then again...I can afford to be selective. My friends actually have it together. If I was always getting dirty dudes..I might have to look at the bigger picture. I treat my guys like theyare at a spa. Ice cold water, hot towels after coffee and 5 star hotel-like bedroom.

Well is this a problem? (Other than the feeling of injustice you have) How many of these do you get? Is your reputation being sullied by a pack of stenchdicks writing bad reviews and stearing the good guys away?

On the flip side, I have had some bad whore experiences. Including fish-vag that made me throw up into my mouth, and yeast rash from a swollen red vag, that was so bad, I had to go to the doc and not have sex for 3 months. So fucking' what?!?!?! It came with the territory and I learned from it.

Sometimes, you practically beg them to shower, then offer to wash them and all sorts of attractive ideas and they downright refuse.  Some of them will go shower and not wash their ass!! WTF?  I've got a couple repeats that just don't know how to use the soap on the privates.  If I don't like it, I either walk to the bathroom and get a soapy cloth and towels and wash them or I won't touch the stinky parts or something.  

I read somewhere that it can sometimes be a power play, in a narcissistic way, where they force the other person to smell their stink as a display of power over them...I think that's really sick.  It does need to be addressed repeatedly because many people are very unaware of what they don't do enough of....WASH YOUR AYAS.
