o read escort web pages you would think that 50% of them have advanced degrees. In the USA only about 9% of the population has a Masters  degree.

Since you can buy fake degrees complete with transcripts it means nothing even if they show them to you. To verify a degree you would need the person's full legal name and a social security number.

Why do they lie about their academic achievements?  Many times  I've met with a girl that claimed all kinds of advanced degrees on her site and ads, only to find she had lied.  It took about 5 minutes of conversation and a little digging to find that out.

Have you ever met with a hooker whose website is better written than she is spoken?  Most web sites are written by professional web designers/copyrighters not the girls themselves.

It's amazing how many sappy tricks will fork over 100's of dollars more to get a girl who they think is "exclusive" and well educated.

Personally I don't think fancy degrees equate with intelligence. How many Masters degrees do you need to learn how to suck cock?

Do fancy college degrees matter when you see escorts

I've met some high school drop-outs who should be in MENSA, and I've met some PhD's who don't have the good sense to look both ways when they cross the street...

I don't need the girl I'm with to be educated, I want her to be bright, cheerful, and skilled at her profession...

... And to me, someone with like multiple masters' degrees or whatever is missing a key component if they flaunt their education on their hooker profile, while simultaneously looking like a hooker in their Linkedin profile.  :-)

Just completely missing some key components to the equation of life. In my humble opinion mind you. Otherwise, it's not for me to judge. Whatever works for the person, works for the person.

I am sure most women, including the lovely ladies here, would like more men to appreciate their minds and not simply look at them as an object for sex.  This is a fight women have fought for years and there's still inequality. Why does a women earn less than a man if she does the SAME job??  SEXISM.

It's not hard to believe all the claims from our ladies however.  According to recent trends in college enrollments, women are now more likely to have a college degree than men. Men, on the other hand, are far more likely to end up in prison than women. That's a plus :)

So, for me, intelligence ranks in the top ten for desired traits, but it's not a deal-breaker.

What turns me on (besides sex-LOL) is a woman that is passionate about her interests.  I met a lady who was a talented musician and we talked about her hopes to play more.  I love to see people with a passion for living and not just here watching life pass by

Yes, but it's a marketing gimmick to get guys to pay more because they think they are getting a more upscale hooker.

As I said in my OP:

"Why do they lie about their academic achievements?  Many times  I've met with a girl that claimed all kinds of advanced degrees on her site and ads, only to find she had lied.  It took about 5 minutes of conversation and a little digging to find that out. "

my hope is that the person I see has no pretensions of being something that they are not.

To put on airs and misuse words, or talk about subjects they have no business talking about is a real turn off while being kind and honest about themselves is a real turn on

i do not think  i am any better than girls who do not have degrees, nor do i really push my degrees in advertising myself...

i think being nice and down-to-earth is more important

like it was mentioned before i have met some well-educated clients who acted like assholes..

Pretentiousness at it's best is boorish, but at it's worst is down right comical.

Wow! Two Masters degrees at 24 years old. She must have started school early. She is a CPA too?

A really inteligent person who has advanced degree doesn't need to brag about it. Also a truly intelligent person without an advanced degree doesn't need to put down people with advanced degrees.

Was looking for "If I only had a brain". Found this even better.

Somewhat of a digression, but funny.

...a genuine conversation while we recover from round one, an engaged attitude, no cell phone, obsession with the IPOD or extensive trips to the bathroom, and I'm good.  I think some women try too hard to seem like they swim in the deep end of the brains pool, and frankly, that's not why I'm there....

I'm simple.  My date should be able to carry on a conversation and have a sense of humor.... That will enhance my time with her :-)

Lmao that's what I picked up last week in Puerto Rico.  I probably spelled it wrong.  Lol    So,  what's up with extensive trips to the bathroom?  I can see once to freshen up and get rid of the scent/taste of the rubber.  Aside from that?

Sounds like a good trip to Puerto Rico.  It is "bano", btw.

I don't know...that is one of the great time wasting techniques.  Honestly, it doesn't happen often (maybe 5 times in 50ish dates) but it is super annoying (and obvious) when it happens.  I had one gal in Seattle stay in the bathroom 25 minutes of a one hour date....

I would have taken half the money back.  If I paid a guy for an hour of service  and he spent 1/2 of my time smokin rock in the bathroom I would pay the dink for 30 minutes.

I didn't think you were bragging and you are probably not stupid,  but your psychiatric skills and ability to diagnose insecurities from  my short message, to put it blunty, suck swamp water.
FWIW, I have a B.SC. M.SC. and a PhD. and had A Fulbright Scholarship and a Rockefeller Grant to fund my research. I assure you I am not insecure and I know my sexual prowess has diminished considerably due to my age but I am quite secure. :)
