I've canceled my membership to TER, this is my last day and I wanted to send a message. I almost ruined my life because of my stupid selfishness & insecurities. Married men-listen to me. Don't take a chance on losing a great wife to a misplaced addiction to w*****. To all you people who spend half your life at your computers talking about sex and whatever time you have left emptying your bank accounts to overpay these w*****: Get a life, get another freakin hobby. First off, we're the same age so I'm very sorry to hear you're dealing with prostate cancer.  I understand how something like that could bring on an epipheny regarding your life, wife and the choices you previously made regarding seeing escorts.

But that said, something doesn't quite ring true about your post.  You either aren't being entirely honest with us, or you're not being honest with yourself, because there's absolutely no reason to take a parting shot at TER and those that participate here just because it wasn't a good choice for you.  And the fact that you did makes me think you have some issues or agenda other than to bid us farewell.

We all make our personal decisions and we all live with the consequences.  You choose to no longer participate in this activity.  Good for you.  If I were married, I might make the same decision and stay at home too.  But I wouldn't blame TER for my actions any more than I'd blame my car if I broke the speed limit and got a ticket.  The reason is both simple and obvious, yet it seems to have eluded you- as adults we're supposed to be responsible for our actions.

You obviously have a lot of things to re-evaluate in your life right now, and I think your time will be well-spent to do so.  Just be man enough to take responsibility for your own decisions and not insult everyone on your way out the door.
