So I decided in the fall of last year I'm done writing reviews because I find there are too many issues with that whole culture (a subject for another time).

A whitelist tells me you have seen her and she is vouching for you
When I write requesting a reference I ask if the lady has seen you and would she see you again - very similar information that the whitelist provides....
If your whitelists are up to date I'm more likely to look at who you have seen (rather than the details of what you did) for correlations.  
I'm not interested in details so I wouldn't care if you had corresponding reviews and I wouldn't find it odd if you didn't..

My white lists are old, but from several providers that have a good numbers of reviews.  Not sure how much a difference that would make to a provider.  I was married and as such took a 6 year break from seeing providers.

For me personally, I only accept references/whitelists that are current (i.e. Less than 12 months old) and are from ladies with an active web presence (website/posts/blog etc)...

regardless of whether they have a corresponding review or not. For many reasons, many providers will not rely solely upon whitelists for screening. As a part of screening, I don't think a lack of a review to accompany a whitelist is as important as the age of the whitelist when the whitelist is used as a reference... most gals want recent references (and additional information beyond whitelists).  

Who says whitelist should have corresponding reviews.  
Sure some providers may not give a whitelist if you don't review them, but there is no rule there. I am obviously not a provider so I can't say how Providers look at it, but I see it as a good thing. Corresponding reviews and whitelist could be a quid pro quo thing ("you write me a good review and then I'll whitelist you") I am not saying it is the case, just that it could be. On the other hand, to me, a whitelist with no review means the provider saw that client and he was a good client.

However that is definitely the exception. Most providers will not accept references (whitelists, p411 okays etc.) that are more than a year old. Many will say no more than 6 months. In your case, prepare to be treated as a newbie. You will most likely be starting all over.

comes if the provider doesn't like your review.  Because you asked her to whitelist you, she knows your TER handle.  This is precisely why I never give my TER handle to a provider, so for me, whitelisting is not something I rely on for refs. I want to be able to write a completely honest review without fear of any blowback from any provider or agency booker.  

I figured as much.  No worries though. I didn't have any problems when I first started, so unless something has drastically changed in the last 6 years I'm sure I'll be ok.

I sort of get 12 months with references as memories fade, contact info may even change, etc...but if you're going to accept Whitelists as a legitimate screening tool, why have a time limit? Are you concerned the monger has developed bad habits, gained a ton of weight, stopped bathing?

I use a combination of screening methods and they have to be current to give me peace of mind  
People change...including providers so I also accept the notion that some gents would not see providers who do not have current reviews. I guess we all do what makes us comfortable....

Since I am full member of P411, I stopped requesting a white list from the ladies I see.
Do ask for P411 okay's but don;t make them do both.
Maybe I should, but TER and P411 are my go to site!!!
Most ladies say my introductory e-mail or PM is enough for hem actually.
They have good noses!!!

It's been a long time since whitelists alone weren't sufficient enough for a provider to screen me.  If a provider wants to contact the women behind the whitelists that's totally fine, but I usually never hear about it (which saves me time).  And if a provider really doesn't like whitelists, that's ok too, I'll just send her 2 references in an email.

One provider flipped out on me because I gave her a 9 and a 10 instead of two 10s like most of her other reviews, forgetting the fact that my review is absolutely glowing if you actually bother to read it.  Her BSC response to that review is one of the many reasons I'm done with review culture.

...and many providers proceed to go ahead and contact the providers issuing those listings to ask pertinent questions.

They are helpful because, in my mind, it's instant verification the person isn't a time waster, and I assume if someone is on TER enough to be whitelisted, they have basic escort-manners.  So I'm not on edge that I'll need to keep the conversation on the rails, so to speak.

But could you guys who smell clean PLEASE stop writing about your easy passes on the public part of the forum?  Lots of other men ARE safe but they just aren't vibing and we need to check.

Their FAQ's state that they destroy all of the personal identification data that you send them after you've been verified. I don't know what method they use for disposing of this material, though.  I doubt they are pulling their server's hard drives and melting them with termite, haha.  Perhaps they use self encrypting hard drives. Who knows.  Gina from P411 would be a good person to ask about this.

Saves a ton of hassle and gets you right in.
BUT, if your name would stand out in a quick scan, or you're in ANY elected or appointed position... I'd use other methods.

When I signed up for P411 about 18 months ago, they did not require a DL. They required a form of identification that had a number on it that only you would have.  They suggested a DL, but it could be a library card.  Regardless, you did not have to send it in.  This was so that one person could not 'loan' their membership and OK's on a temporary basis to someone else.  I believe the rules still state that a provider can ask for that number on a form of ID, but I've never been asked.

anyone but yet they have quite a few whitelists.It did not raise a red flag for me some guys just don't review but they still get whitelists.As long as he provides additional info besides just a ter handle I wouldn't have an issue.The more current the whitelist is the better.Every lady is different.
