TER is a black box. They're going to protect their interests before anyone else's.

My guess is that they're playing it safe, because they're living in the US, and could be linked to and liable for what goes on here.

If you can get a provider name, and/or a TER ID, you can likely find her page on google, and used the cached result. That's a limited time offer, because the cache will last no more than 30 days.

Also Evernote has a great web clipper, and is free. So you can clip the pages to evernote if you find a cache, and it remains text-searchable on your account. Like your own private TER, only shittier.

They've just destroyed the most valuable site in this business. The only reason is they must be afraid of doing hard time in "The House of Many Doors."

I was proud of my reviews and everything I did over the years..... It makes no sense to delete. FOSTA and it bill is unconstitutional and the retroactive clause will have it thrown out in the first court case that it shows up in.

I have no reviews submitted, as if I was a client.

Ter isn't stupid, the reviews are hidden. You guys can still view the reviews you submitted.

I told almost everyone to backup their reviews weeks ago. Few listened.... and others had the mindset to bitch at me like I was being bsc.

I see primarily regulars but I've been hit hard, mainly by Ter not having reviews available to USA and now this.

I'm not going to get mad, they are preparing to see if law passes in next few days. ....

But this sucks for me....

And other girls who kept it fun and honest, some are shit out of luck.... til we figure it out.

The good thing is, if you have the means to be on twitter etc, and treated other gals well... those are looking out for each other.

holy wow!! This is just craziness. I can't believe that this is all happening. But I know we will all land on our feet. We'll find each other somehow. I never thought it would all come to this. Hopefully people will have the gumption to fight this insanity. You know, first they came for the sex workers...

Follow me on twitter! @Softly_Sarah
Same on switter, but that site format confuses the heck out of me.

I knew this would eventually happen.
Not sure why these reputable sites didn't already have their sites on foreign servers etc.
Heck, my site is hosted out of the country.

Try the Evernote solution, to see if you can find links to your reviews.

There's still some other sites to use. Albeit, they've  revamped his they're doing things. So following the rules is key.
I have them on my site.

Best to stay with using a VPN to  view those other sites.

And if the providers who depend on the hobby for a living.  If you don't have a site. Get one. (Hosted out of the country).
As that's the best method for guys to  find you, at this point.

Good luck ya'll

What a farkakte mess! Within a week's time, my web host went dark (Escort Design), now this. I was so proud of my reviews, too...

So let this serve for posterity: I was at a 9.1, dammit! (Yep, guilty of the sin of pride, among others.)

Some of you Twitter holdouts might need to relent, considering. Come visit, I'm @InariPopcorn.

it's a shame they name bills , period. i feel many bills get passed on name alone. i think we all agree sex trafficking is bad and we want to stop it -- problem is this ain't going to do it and also puts many sex workers by choice in more danger. If they called it the "let's endanger people's lives and over censor the internet like china" it probably would not get the support it got.

Sooooo fun.
Switter is cool tho.  I'll get on Twitter and IG in the next week or 2 and i'll just update that to my site when that happens.

TER IS hosted outside the U.S. and they still felt vulnerable enough to take very drastic action. They must know something we do not know.

that affect your business, from my own experience, corporate attorneys go into CYA mode until they can do a full legal analysis of the new challenges because they don't want to be liable by giving you wrong advice in haste.  Believe me, having been there, TER feels just as hamstringed as we do right now, but I'm sure their attorneys have advised them to use an over-abundance of caution until they can sort things out and make a MORE INFORMED decision on the full impact of FOSTA/SESTA on TER.  Meanwhile, rather than constant eulogies, we all need to find other ways to engage ourselves in the hobby until TER gets a full or partial green light from their attorneys.  The fact that we are all here chatting is proof that the corpus is still intact and no final decisions have yet been made.  I have been using my spare time (because I can no longer write reviews here) to research what other local and regional ad sites there are online to recommend to the ladies I know.  When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade.

Hosted outside of the US, but their domain name is registered in the US.  Means they are at risk of losing their domain (theeroticreview.com).  More likely, the problem is that they are Americans, and so they have to be worried about US laws if they live/visit the US.

It's not just that she is getting all weepy and sentimental, but she didn't even give a final GO FUCK YOURSELF to a couple of people who definitely deserve it.

Speaking of which there are several people to which I would like to wish a final FUCK YOU, but since these aren't going to be my final words here (I hope) I will get to them in due time.

The good news of course is that I have a LOT more friends here than enemies (although I am sure I have several of them too), and hopefully this site figures out a way to survive post SESTA/FOSTA, or even better hopefully the bill/s will be ruled unconstitutional in short order, or at least someone contests the constitutionality of the law and a court grants injunctive relief while the matter works it's way through the courts for a couple of decades.

First it was net neutrality. Remember?

Sesta is just one more example of this backward administration stripping away personal freedoms. Pence wants a puritan state and Putin's puppet doesn't read.

I don't know what you're talking about. You made no attempt to refute my point (Pence wants a puritan state and Putin's puppet doesn't read) but seem to think you are arguing with me.

For those interested in actual facts here are some

Here is just one example about how much support this bill got from the "freedom loving" left.

Keep in mind Kamala Harris was also the one LEADING the charge against BP.

As for Pence, he is beyond defending, but that certainly doesn't absolve the guilt from all those lefties who were in lock step unison behind this travesty.

extreme for me. The basically want to start over and have no laws. You can kiss all government programs and protections goodbye if the libertarians ever came to power.

From this article on the plea bargain of the Bee Pee CEO:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/true-crime/wp/2018/04/13/backpage-ceo-carl-ferrer-pleads-guilty-in-three-states-agrees-to-testify-against-other-website-officials/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.84b93620a23a
.
The article mentions the guilty plea to a single case of sex trafficking.  "[The CEO] pleaded Backpage and other related entities guilty to human trafficking of a teenaged girl, ..." The negotiated plea was for a single case so there are probably more but how many more? A million? A thousand? A hundred? Ten?
.
"“This is such an important step forward for the many people who’ve been combating human trafficking,” said Maggy Krell, a former assistant attorney general in California who worked on the case until leaving the office last month. She was in court for Ferrer’s plea Thursday. “There is no one in the entire world who made more money off sex trafficking than the owners of this website."  Not all SW is trafficked!!
And every analysis says that children are more often trafficked and abused for illegal labor (factories, fields - essentially, slave labor) than for sex by a huge factor.
.
I'm wiling to bet that 99+% of beepie's money came from ads from Consenting Adults. I asked in another post, but does anyone know if there were any studies (academic, LE, or political) of their ad breakdown? As GaG's HuffPo link points out, it was easier to find and rescue trafficking victims when they could be found on bea pea. "When websites are shut down, the sex trade is pushed underground and sex trafficking victims are forced into even more dangerous circumstances ... [and] trafficking victims face even more violence, are less likely to be identified, with less evidence of their victimization."
.
Absolutely, fight child trafficking and the coercion of others. However, in the process, don't trample on the vast majority of SWs who are Consenting Adults.
.
EDIT: forgot to link the link - done

There are all kinds of laws we don't know about. If "they" are out to get you... they will. TER no doubt spends a lot of money on good legal council. I don't believe they are making knee jerk reactions.
