Lighten the fuck up, it's a fuck board that is dying, I think she should be applauded for trying to breath some life into this board. Personally I am sick of this board simply being a "spill over" for the P&R board, where most of the posts are by you, LTM and IMP bashing the President and CDL and I calling you out for it. We already have one board where ALL the conversation is about Trump, do we REALLY need another?

And, of course, you're WRONG. I don't give a shit if Ashley puts up an ad. I just would have preferred one that was more creative, as she usually does, instead of this blatant one. But leave it to The Stupid Twins not to be able to tell the difference.
Besides, what do you care? The whole thread is still up. So now you both can go back to the P&R Board and your usual practice of lying, distorting and warping reality.

I don't have to look it up.   Silky is referring to K-org, or Kgirl Org.  In other words, a Korean escort agency, to put it in terms you will probably understand.  The other Korg is an early form of keyboard synthesizer from the 70's.  I'm sure GaG knew what it meant, as well.  Do you see the irony in calling us the "Stupid Triplets" when YOU are the only one that didn't know what it meant?

You changed "korg" to "Korg." It was recently pointed out that HOW you shorten a word, name, or expression can make it less difficult or more difficult to understand the shortened form when used in a new context. http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion-boards/the-erotic-highway-20/re-imp-would-not------31372?page=
.
coeur-de-lion is understandably CDL, Cdl, CdL. GaGambler is understandably GaG or GaGa. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is NATO, not Nato, not nato.
.
Silkstalkings wrote, "... who we're kicked off and b'lstd from several korgs cause you ...". Several typos but mostly understandable. "we're" = were, "b'lstd" = blacklisted, "cause" = 'cause or because.  I had no idea what "korg" was supposed to be. I thought it might be a really, really bad typo and stopped trying to figure it out after "covfefe" and another 3 seconds. If SS had written "Korg" instead of "korg" (it still could have been a typo) but at least I am thinking that K could be from a proper noun .... Korea!  K-org, K-Org or KOrg as a short form is better. And so on.

anal-retentive for most people here.  In this age of screen names and internet where many proper nouns are not capitalized (and many millennials that NEVER use capital letters), you must often look to the usage and content of the writing to determine what someone is saying when they abbreviate something, with or without capitals.  As is my practice, I was answering off the top of my head, but I took into account that Silky is a high-volume, well-respected LA Kgirl aficionado, so there was no doubt in my mind that he was referring to what the Kgirl scene calls korgs, short for Kgirl Orgs.

I threw in the other one because I had some dealings with Korg back in the late 70's when I was just starting out in business, and I hadn't seem the name in quite a while.  Interestingly, AFTER I posted, I looked them up and they are still in business, and still making music synthesizers.  This was just self-indulgent, and I knew Silky was talking about Kgirls.   I hope I get iMpPoStEr the way you want it.  Lol

CDL is a fellow LA-ian and knows the lay of the land and the local lingo. GaG is a widely experienced monger and put "korg" into the context of that experience. I (and Jake) are East Coasters (NYC) and it did not look or sound familiar even though I, for one, am very familiar with the K-world in NYC. If you want to chalk it up to politics, we can do that, too. Three cons think alike but are not well in touch with those who do not share all of their views. It is not an IQ issue. It is a "like-mindedness" issue.
.
The lesson is, if you want to communicate your ideas and opinions to others, especially those that might not share your views and might not be sympathetic to those views at first, you should try to use clearer, more precise language.  And you should not ridicule them, debase them, and bully them just because they ask for a clarification.

First, I'd like to point out that this is the General board, not P&R. GaG made a pejorative comment about the IQs of conservatives vs liberals. I addressed that by suggesting it was more an issue of "like-mindedness" rather than intelligence or anything specifically political that made it easier to understand each other.
.
CDL then brought The Squad and AOC into the thread. CDL brought up silencing opposing speech.(???) My last sentence was about "you should not ridicule them, debase them, and bully them just because they ask for a clarification." If anything, that seems to be POTUS, day after day, dismissing Qs and requests for explanations or further comments with "Fake news!" and "You are a terrible, rude person." or "Sit down!" (to reporters who asked a Q). Do not bring up "Russia" or you'll be banned from the WH news pool. And so on.
.
I am replying below, but suggest that further discussion (or the whole topic) be taken to P&R.

Well said.  I wish you would send that along to AOC and  the squad, and to some of the Dems running for President that are attempting to silence opposing speech.  They could use a "lesson" like this.

The message was directed at the contributors to this thread who seemed to feel that anyone who can't mind meld with them and understand their less than clear posts are somehow inferior intellectually and should be demeaned.
.
When posting to the TER boards, your audience is the diverse readership: a mixture of all political stripes, all geographical areas (including Europe), all degrees of experience (Newbie to Expert), and so on. When posting to the TER boards, try to speak to everyone here ... or at least answer their Qs if they ask for clarification.
.
When speaking at a real estate seminar for experts, you speak to them at their level. When speaking to oil investment newbies, you speak to them at their newbie level, not your highest expert level. When speaking at a political rally of supporters, those supporters probably know your policy positions and don't need as much detail to get riled up as an uninformed newbie or an opponent in the audience. When speaking a political event that is supposed to bipartisan (e.g., a memorial service for victims of terrorism), the rhetoric is USUALLY but not always toned down and less inflammatory. You will give different answers during an interview with Forbes than when being interviewed by The Weekly Reader (grade school K-6 news magazine)
.
One AOC example comes to mind: When campaigning, she was grilled about how she would pay for Medicare-for-All. She gave a terse answer: People would "just pay for it." and threw in "No one asks how we're going to pay for the Space Force." If you knew the details of the various Medicare-for-All proposals, you knew what she meant. If you did not, you called her crazy. Basically: "We" currently spend around $4 T per year on health care. No one asks where that $4 T comes from because it's "just" there. It comes from premiums paid for insurance, insurance payouts, government, out of pocket payments, bankruptcy, etc.. "You just pay for it!" meant you collect the SAME money differently, from taxes and fees instead of premiums, and disburse it from Medicare.
.
Current method: collect ~$5.5 T coming IN, insurers take 25 - 30% off the top (a lot for CEO salaries and bonuses), and pay out the remaining $4 T to doctors, hospitals, et al..  See? "We just pay for it!"  M-for-A method: collect ~$4.4 T in taxes and fees, gov spends around 10% on admin, pays out $4 T for health services.
.
AOC SHOULD HAVE EXPLAINED IT BETTER TO THAT AUDIENCE / INTERVIEWER and been less dismissive. She and her supporters thought it was obvious but she was not being interviewed by her supporters. She is learning to explain things better de novo and to clarify things, if necessary, after the original speech or interview.
.
Of course, AOC could have just told the interviewer, "Mexico will pay!" and then there would have been no controversy.

Do you really expect the government to manage health care responsibly?  Social Security was supposed to be a segregated fund, invested in bonds or other interest-bearing instruments, but early on, the pols started dipping into it to fund other things.  It was never segregated and never invested for growth.  It just went into the general fund.  In a civil context, the way they managed this pool would be called conversion, an actionable tort with the possibility of punitive damages for the victim.  In a criminal context, its called embezzlement, which I'm sure needs no further explanation.  The last thing I want is for any more of my money to go into government-run healthcare.

I hope you also understand that Medicare has a deductive at the beginning of the year, and a 20% co-pay that the patient is responsible for.  On a $100,000 triple bypass, that's $20,000.  Most private insurance either has NO copay or a very small one of 2-4%.  Even a major medical plan night have a $5000 annual deductible, but that's a far cry from $20,000.

Most adults, especially the ones that actually listens to the incredibly dumb shit that comes out of her mouth try to put as much distance between themselves and her ideas as humanly possible without actually switching parties. lol  Well everyone, but the 20 or so morons running for POTUS on the Dim side of course, but in an era where CrazySleepyUncleJoe is considered "moderate" I guess that really should come as no surprise.

I can't wait for IMP to come out and announce his support for Pocahontas next, lmao

Here is my prediction for Medicare for all in the unlikely event it ever passes. EVERYONE will have their taxes double in order to pay for it and then we will be "allowed" to buy private insurance to cover the 20% copay, but the cost of covering that 20% will quickly equal what we are now paying for 100% coverage today. At the end of the day we will all be paying twice as much in taxes, the Federal Government will be controlling a percentage approaching 50% of our total economy and we'll still be paying just as much for insurance as we are today.

I was talking about politicization (P&R) of this thread on the General board. From the OP, working my way down, in chronological order. After a couple of no-name-calling posts:
1. CDL called Jake a putz.  Rude? Funny name-calling?
2. GaG repeats "putz" and adds "asshole." (GaG mentions P&R and Trump but suggesting that we avoid those issues on General. Borderline P&R, but I give it a pass.) Rude? Funny name-calling?
3. Jake then retaliates with "Stupid Twins." Rude? Funny name-calling?
All of that is just the usual name-calling that we have here.
4. THEN GaG introduced a more political slant into the thread, WHICH IS THE P&R DIGRESSION I WAS REFERRING TO, when GaG talks about the intelligence of cons vs libs.
5. CDL then adds The Squad and AOC to the topic in a reply to my comment about communicating ideas.

One of the MORE likely scenarios if M-4-All is passed.  We will be on it anyway at some point due to age, but I do not welcome the day that government tells me what treatment is "approved" and what's not.  I've had to monitor my aged father's Medicare account for some years and there are many more limitations on what is covered than most people think.  Just because a doctor says you need a test, Medicare still might not pay for it, and the burden falls on the patient.  Even though there is an appeal process, the government bureaucrats still get the last word.

Many proposals for M-for-A allow a private insurance option, full or supplemental. Private insurers are also known not to pay for "everything" and will fight you to the death (literally, sometimes) to withhold approval of some services and procedures. I have been trying to help some relatives in a multi-generational household (multiple private insurance policies and Medicare) with insurance matters. It's too complicated for me. It is easily 10 hours per week, sometimes more, on the phone, week after week, trying to figure out who pays for what and how to get things paid.

any Dem say that under M-4-all, people could completely "opt-out" of the higher taxes collected to pay for government insurance, so those people that keep their private plan would be paying twice for the same coverage.  Its just a Lib government money-grab.  Just like Obama's famous line, "If you like your doctor, you can keep him."  That turned out to be a load of shit.  If they do M-4-all, Americans will be longing for the good old days when they were getting a lesser screwing from Obamacare.

Which means M-4-all will DOUBLE the national budget requiring taxes to be doubled to pay it meaning different things for different people.

For somebody like lets say LTM who makes no money and therefore pays no taxes this must sound like a great deal, but then someone on the bottom of the food chain doesn't pay for health care currently, so there really is no effect on someone at the very bottom of society.

But what about the rest of us, are we REALLY willing to pay twice as much in taxes for the promise of "free" health care that probably won't be free at all, and how about the people who presently already pay 50% of their income in taxes, are you going to double their taxes so that they end up giving ALL their money to the government? and if not "someone" else has to make up that slack for the country not to go bankrupt. Since we can't double the tax on "everyone" that means some people are going to see their taxes more than double, and then we are just around the corner from total Socialism where the Government takes ALL of EVERYONE's money and the only wealthy people we'll have left are a bunch of crooked politicians, kind of like Cuba or Venezuela

What you're basically saying is "Others have been irrational *ssholes so therefore it's ok for me to be an irrational *sshole." But, since it takes a certain level of intellectual honesty to recognize (let alone admit) how stupid that position is, it's an exercise in futility to try to point that out to someone who is so obviously wallowing in their irrational *ssholeness. Or is the proper term *ssholivity?

Every time someone calls you a liar on the P & R board, your response is. "Well, Trump is the biggest liar of all" or something to that effect,, which means, as Jimboy is saying, you justify your own lying with the fact that Trump lies.  Two wrongs don't make a right.  However, three rights make a left.

1 Trump + 1 Barr + 1 McConnell = 1 AOC ?

When applied to politics, simple math is not THIS simple.  Still good for a chuckle.

He said they are disloyal to Israel if they vote for Dems, because the Dems refuse to condemn anti-Semitism.  Dems have become the Jew-haters and you have been no exception on the boards. Your support of the "Squad" proves it.

He might just be stupid.

Ok, no one is that fucking stupid, he's lying again, or perhaps more accurately, he's lying "as usual".

BTW, I still HATE the nickname "The Squad" I am kind of partial to "The Four Stooges", but if we have to go with "Squad" how about if we made it the "Stupid Squad" I'd actually prefer "Suicide Squad" but that would just be wishful thinking. lol

That most Israeli citizens are Jewish.

Glad to see you are on board with the "Four Stooges."   A fitting name for a group of not-so-bright Dems.

USED to vote for Dems, and many still will on the local level, but recent polls show that a majority of Orthodox Jews support Trump in 2020, even in New York City.  Many respected Rabbis have spoken out in favor of Trump and his policies.

Aw far as me "ducking" your question, you're trying to compare apples and oranges.  Israel is a religious state, founded by migrating Jews after WWII.  (IMO, some of the trouble Jews have had throughout history was brought on by  regarding themselves as the "Jewish Race."  Its a religion, not a race, but that's another topic for another day.)  China is communist, so therefore about as secular as you can get.  Your question was stupid because of this difference.  I didn't duck the question, I just didn't want to pile on and make you look even more stupid, but you're insisting by accusing me of ducking it, so now you know the answer and if you were smarter, you would feel stupid that you don't know the fundamental difference between Israel and China without me telling you.  That's the number one problem with stupid people, they usually have no concept of just how stupid they are.

I didn't put it up before because I didn't want to risk giving Jake a seizure when he saw how out of touch he is with Jewish sentiment in the US.

You are wrong about GaG, I believe he was born in the US, so China is NOT his "home" country, its the country of SOME of his ancestors.

That China is secular is the point.  Israel was founded as a homeland for people of the Jewish Religion.  The Chinese government destroys religious meeting places.  That's why you can't compare the two when it comes to "loyalty."  American Jews share a religion with people of Israel.  Chinese-Americans share nothing with the citizens of China except not wanting to live there.

but I was born and raised in California. lol

You are also right about how ABC's (American Born Chinese) and even Chinese Americans feel about China. Virtually none of us feel even the slightest kinship towards the PRC, the only thing we really share with the citizens of China besides, as you so aptly put "not wanting to live there" is slanted eyes. lol

Jews have a MUCH different relationship with the State of Israel. Most American Jews do have rather strong feelings where it comes to Israel. Liberals like Jake might hate Bibi, but it's a rare jew that doesn't have some kind of strong feelings where it comes to Israel, whereas most American Chinese are only thankful that we don't live in a Communist country. You'll have to search long and hard to find an American Chinese person who supports the PRC, but there are millions of Jews who support Israel as fervently as they support the US.

I will concede Jakes point that most jews are liberal democrats, but with the likes of the Four Stooges stoking anti Israel and anti Jew sentiment, those numbers are VERY likely to change, ESPECIALLY since Trump is proving to be the best friend that Israel has had in a very long time. Personally I have not been a huge Israel supporter over the years, but I am a supporter of the US and we made our bed with Israel a LONG time ago, and our interests are too much aligned with them to even consider abandoning them now.

what a "regular Jew" is.  I've lived 60 years and never heard of anyone being referred to as a "regular Jew".  Did you just pull that term out of your ass?  If you did, who the hell are you talking about?
