Seriously, I do have a 2 year degree and multiple key certifications in my career field that are as prestigeous and more relevant than the degree in something that is unrelated to my career field. The respect of my peers and the people that I lead is far more important to me than the piece of paper that I have. Also, it certainly doesn't hurt that I make very good money and can afford to travel to see my favorite providers.

Second  through eighth at private prep school .

Begged my parents to send me  to public school in ninth where the girls are .
 They reluctantly relented .
The girls were fast and fun , my  teachers were slow and dumb , except one  .
My Calculus  teacher was extremely smart and hot .   I often asked for help after class so I
could be closer to her ass .
My History teacher tortured me unmercifully , reading  straight out of the  book at a sixth grade level .
In his defense he was the football  coach .

The last straw ,  I walked out and quit ninth grade when my chemistry  teacher asked if anyone had a pet mouse . If she  didn't  know the difference  between  pets and vermin , I knew it was time to enroll  in an autodidact school that doesn't end until I do .    :-D

Which, incidentally, means absolutely nothing.  Especially in my field.

No one who works in capital markets gives a flying fuck where you went to school or how many degrees you got.  Some of the most successful guys I know in this business went to non-descript schools with no real academic standout power.

Where you went to school makes a difference for the first job, if that.  Beyond that, it's probably more about connections and networking than the actual academic work, which, as I said, is bullshit in capital markets.

I can see the point of a general survey, like the one TER did.  And if a lady I meet wants to know about me, that's fine.  But the question here seems like an invitation for pointless "bragging", or equally pointless self outing, and the flaming which inevitably results, but not much else.

Comparing degrees or SAT scores or whatever on this board is kind of like publically comparing dick sizes.  Even if true, who cares? (ok London cares, but only if you actually want to make an appointment with her).

If you read someone's posts, you may get a sense of their formal education -or not.  And even then, I would add: who cares?  One guy who talks about his lack of formal education is scoed. Most of us think he's as smart as anyone here.  Would I hire him as a nuclear physicist?  No. Or bet on him in a spelling bee? No.   But for purposes of weighing the import of what he posts here (which is all I care about; he's not my type or vice versa), he's fine. When he writes something, i pay attention.  And I know some highly educated people who often act like idiots.

Maybe it matters to the OP.  or maybe he or she is just curious about the other posters in general.

But I'm not a Board cop.  Nor do I want to stifle anyone from asking anything.  The OP and the responses just strike me as kind of funny.

I am also remindied of the saying "if you talk or even think a lot about who is an Alpha male, don't worry; you are definitely not one."

Serpius - when you PM'ed me the other day asking what my issue with you was, I genuinely had none.  Now I do.

Would you like to know what your post here tells me about you?

It tells me that, as someone who hires prostitutes, you must think so poorly of yourself that you completely fail to comprehend how a lady could stand to have sex with you, even if you pay her to do so.  Obviously, if she's accepting money to have sex with you, or someone like you, she must be stupid, desperate, and completely unable to earn a living doing anything else!

Hey now - don't shoot the messenger.  You're the one who sent the message.

Would you like to know why I'm a hooker?

Have you ever read the book "From Cop To Call Girl" by Norma Jean Almodovar?

Norma Jean worked as a traffic cop for the LAPD in the years preceding the Rodney King beatings.  The blatant corruption she witnessed within the system motivated her to quit the job, write an expose of her experiences, and become a call girl - publicly declaring that she'd rather be a whore than work for the LAPD, saying it was a more honorable career choice and that she'd rather sell her body than her soul.

Of course I'm using this as pure allegory (which by the way means "for illustrative purposes).  I have never worked in law enforcement and would personally work as a streetwalker before I would ever deign to do that.  Yuck.

However, I do feel that being a hooker is an honest living, much more honest than a lot of other things, and I greatly enjoy the various freedoms which it affords me.  I make good money, work for myself, answer to no one...and as an added benefit I get a real good chuckle out of all the ignorant people who think they are better than I am.  Oh, and I even get to avoid funding things I don't like, such as war, bank bailouts, and putting people in jail for so-called crimes without victims.

At some point, I will finish school (school is not at all difficult for me, but it does take time away from my real education!).  When I do, it will be in such a fashion that my next career affords me almost as much personal freedom as this one.

So yeah anyways - Serpius - eat a bag of dicks.

Really?? Honestly??

To quote you: "However, I do feel that being a hooker is an honest living, much more honest than a lot of other things, and I greatly enjoy the various freedoms which it affords me."

Honest living?? Seriously? Did you forget that prostitution is ILLEGAL?

The moment you get busted... you lose ALL freedoms!!

Yea, you may make a "ton" of money,  but that would disappear the moment you have to pay your lawyers to bail you out of jail.

Enjoy your career. At least mine is LEGAL.

Your inability to cover your tracks which clearly lead me to believe that you have much to hide...but your ineptitude to understand how to do this is clear.

So you post on here...trying to make anyone actually buy your incredible tales of educational success is the lamest post I've seen in a while...and that is saying something considering you have the acey ducey and Udo maniacs to climb over.

So yea...we're all quite impressed that you finally got your BA from Phoenix U and the Computer AA from your local junior college.

Maybe you can finally find a job that pays enough so you can actually hire a hooker and take her somewhere other than Wendy's for a "high end" date?

Or just make sure you keep your Fleshlight clean...I wouldn't want you to get a nasty infection from that.

... use your friend as an example, but not of yourself?

I am on my high horse looking down at your filthy lame rationale.

Re: I'll match your two degrees w/ my friend's hard work, perserverance...Hi,,

.. and a high school diploma!! Thirty  some odd years later he owns  four muffler shops, three houses & is a millionaire!!  He doesn't have a college degree!! So, your post is a codescending one!! Get off your high horse & join us common folk!!  A wise man once stated "a person who toots his own horn the loudest will soon be choked by it!"

... 2 college degrees.

One in Business Administration (4 year) and one in Computer Information Technology (2 year). Both times graduated Cum Laude.

In case some of you uneducated folks didn't know...

Cum Laude is Latin for 'With Praise' which is associated with "graduating with honors".

And yet here you are hiring ILLEGAL hookers to please you.

And your career...sure asswipe.  I'm sure YOU never stole anything from your employer in your life!!

Just to educate you a bit...getting "busted" happens everyday of the week.  Most busts never amount to shit.

Hopefully one day YOUR employer will hire an asshole like me to show them how much YOU have stolen from them.  And considering how sloppy you are...it will be like taking candy from a baby.

Dealing with pompous pretentious assholes like you is what has paid for my retirement.

Really??

At least mine is LEGAL.

worked in years dude...get off it. You're the biggest joke in hobbyland, and that in itself is about the funniest shit ever! You honestly expect anyone with half a brain to believe you get respect in the real world, when you can't even keep your lies straight on a fk board? Bwahahahaha. Gosh.

So, enjoy YOUR freedom because as soon as YOU get busted and it's not all that hard when your photo is everywhere lol, you too shall lose all your freedom at the nut house.

Now, go report yet another post that calls you out for the lying, wack job that you are honey. As long as you keep talking stupid shit, we will keep calling you on it! YOU are the problem here, and TER is not going to ban the entire board to keep you happy. You're a tiny fish in a big fkin bowl, and you don't even have any damn money!

And welcome to the club! Now you know the real serpiass! It's funny when new folks join the board and they think some of us (like CPA, London, me, and a few others) are picking on poor helpless serpie, who occasionally seems harmless. But we already know him, and luckily, eventually he makes himself known to others! :)

I don't think I have ever in the history of TER, seen the same person be hated by so many for being so oblivious of his own actions and stupidity. He has to kiss TER's ass just to stay here, but me thinks that is coming to an end. He is too damn stupid not to fk up again with a serious offense.
