These guys get the take nude pictures, in their full glory, of some of the most beautiful escorts.

I had a friend who did just that and had the option where the fees could be paid in kind by having sex.  Lucky bastard he slept with so many women. I have seen some of the pics that he took and it is worth it.

I guess barter system works well.

I guess Scott Church and Aldo Antonio are the top dogs right now based on how often I see their names on pics!  Their web sites, especially Antonio's are mouth watering, especially knowing that many, if not most, are providers.  There is a blond spinner with short pixie haircut on Antonio's site that really does it for me.  

You wouldn't be making much of a living if you took your pay in kind.  If it was me, I'd be on food stamps pretty quick.

Meh,

I'd prefer a photographer who is 100% professional, doesn't comment on my parts per se, but lets me know if the picture is going to turn out good.

Instead of, "Nice a** girl" I like, "That looks great. Hold that pose." :D

They're more focused on the end result and what s going to look best. Otherwise you get a million pictures of their favorite body part, lol.

I prefer to pay cash and keep it professional. I have more control that way. :)

But, back to your point, I totally see what you're getting at. It's like they have a second job to do some hobbying... only paid in services, not cash. :D Lucky guys, indeed!

He is a very nice guy, and very professional. As far as I know....

he doesn't trade.  I've done 2 shoots with him and he has never done anything creepy or skeevy.  

That's probably why so many of us like him so much (in addition to the fact that he's a fabulous photographer).

How is he not Always Hard?

Even if he's not bartering, how does a photog in these situations not stay constantly erect? After all, there's a naked woman in the room with him.

same way that a bartender, bouncer or dj does at a strip club.  had a friend that used to bartend a SC in ATL. he says that after a few days you get to the point that you really do pay attention to all the naked girls around and becomes just another job albeit with some great scenery and the occasional fringe benefit.  no one is going to walk around for hours with a boner (note the viagra commercial warnings)

His photos are great

And he always seems to get the sexy side out of the lady in the photos.  

I'm an amateur photographer and I've done a few shoots with providers. It's hard to not appreciate a beautiful and sexy lady that's right there, but you are generally working too hard to make it all skeevy. You have to adjust the camera and lighting as well as work with the model for the right pose. I try to focus on the task at hand and get the best shots. Having a model that knows how to pose helps out a lot though.

If he gets hard he's not a Pro

The same reason a gynecologist or a women's proctologist doesn't walk around with a hard on when a Super Model  is on the table  , to a pro photographer she's only  another photo .  
 A real pro photographer would be insulted if a provider offered a barter .  
  I've  seen a couple  provider photographers who could never get a real date ,  drool on themselves  when taking photos of half way  Hot women .  
  Those fake Pros  would barter if their subject will stoop so low .

I would imagine that some of the photographers do their share of toilet hugging, not to mention having to be good actors and liars.

I think that getting hard isn't the issue...acting on the urges is.

I'm sure that it happens even to the pros but they maintain their professionalism and focus on the task at hand. They want the paycheck and repeat business and referrals so they have to keep it concentrated on the photos only.  

I'm sure that there are days that they love their jobs and days that they dread.
