How do you guys pay for TER VIP Status but not in the process leave evidence that you are part of the hobby?

I went to my local big grocery store chain and bought a $50 Visa gift card where they scan it at the register. It does take an hour to become activated but I called the 800 number myself. It worked like a charm!

The Vanilla Visa wouldn't work previously because the previous cc processor was in Europe, and Vanilla Visa only works domestically. Apparently, per the response above, it may work now.

If not, then Simons Gift Cards should work--you go online and fill in a fake address to associate with the card--and then use it with the fake address for online purchases like these.

But I haven't used any of these yet, so would like to hear if anyone can confirm.
