Hi.
I'm a provider thinking of working a local resort.  There are a number of them not very far from me.
I want to change-up locations....and I'm thinking that the available mongers at such a place should be happy to find me there.

Questions:
1. In the old days, a client could walk up to the concierge at a high-end hotel and ask for a girl.  They would have several on call.  Is this no longer true?  (I want to BE that girl.   :-)  ;)

2. Is security at a place, such as a casino, really tight and looking for providers? I wouldn't think they'd be too concerned about me.  But am I being naive?

3. I have a friend who has worked at a hotel attached to a nearby casino.  She cleans up when the shift changes at 2am.
My thoughts are that having several days devoted to "work" will be lucrative.  As it is now, my time is so limited.  I miss the late-evening folks who want to see me.  And the very early morning clients as well.  I'd like to post that I'm available more or less 24 hours for a weekend to meet all of the people who are disappointed that I don't do late nights and early mornings.  (some of us have busy regular lives away from the hobby.)

I'd love to hear thoughts on this topic.  Especially from other providers.
Please state what area of the country you are in.  I'm on the East Coast.

1.  No. You can't walk up to a concierge at a casino and ask for a hooker.  That doesn't mean a hooker can't work casino hotels.  Just don't do it through a concierge.  Book a room and put up an ad.  That still works.
2.  Yes, you're being naive if you think you can cruise the casino trolling for johns.  See point 1.
3.  I have no idea what you're talking about here.
You don't write badly.  You don't seem stupid.  But what you are thinking is monumentally dumb. I'm at a loss as to how you fix this.

If the hooker is spending big bucks, security does the "blind eye" thing.  In fact, because the waitresses know about my lifestyle, they will pull me out of the kitchen to point out escorts sitting at the tables.   If you spend money at the casino, and pull in clients who will spend money there, the staff will leave you alone and let you do your thing.

That's what I thought.

But how about the hotel associated with the casino....?

Catch Her in the Right Hotel?
.
Back in the late 1940s (Catcher in the Rye was published in 1951), Holden Caulfield got assistance from Maurice, the bell hop, to find a girl named Sunny.  Things didn't work out so well. ... Partially because Holden didn't know about or think to check TER for Sunny's Recent Reviews.
.
I think that that approach may have gone further down hill since then.

There are message boards/ forums that can answer your question for your specific area. TER rules prohibit me from posting the name, so feel free to PM me for the link.

My only experience picking up a girl like you're discussing is in Las Vegas. Some hotels will let it slide, others enforce fairly strictly.

The following are my opinions only.

As previously noted, it would be easier, safer for you (screening), and convenient (avoid being hit-on continuously by non-clients), and avoiding the potential for arrest (security/police sting, by discussing money, to just get a room and advertise on the many numerous sites, including TER.

TO your questions.

1) No, don't work through the concierge. In today's world, that activity could be considered sex-trafficking, let alone pimping and pandering. I can't speak for other mongers, but I don't need people I don't know being aware of my hobby.

2) Depends on the casino and resort, but in general they don't want somebody around hurting business, causing issues (see number 1 above), or obviously 'working'. The latter, is more obvious than you think. A pretty girl sitting at a bar alone, leaving periodically with a man and then coming back - might as well have a neon sign saying working girl. Then you'd have to deal with bartenders and wait staff, who know exactly what you're doing. Wouldn't take security long to figure out what is going on.

3) I'm assuming you're saying during the shift change at 2:00 a.m., your friend makes bank with the employees who are getting off their shift. Otherwise, no idea what you're saying.

If I were you and wondering, I would do some leg work and go visit the casinos/resorts that you are thinking of doing business. Just watch, no working, and see if there are girls working. Like I said, it will be painfully obvious if there are working girls.

The only hotels where I have any personal knowledge are in Las Vegas, which is of course famously permissive and even has the slogan, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." Even there you wouldn't think of going to the concierge for help getting a girl. In more than one of the hotels where I've stayed, though, there are girls who work the place. They are low key about it, because they know that they'll get kicked out if they are conspicuous. They buy a drink (soda is fine) and hang out in areas where men are likely to be cruising looking for a hooker. Maybe they'll play one of the cheaper machines for a bit. I've had women come up to me and strike up a conversation to see if I'm interested. The conversation will be initially vague but friendly, such as, "Are you here on vacation?" and will proceed to somewhat more personal conversations aimed at finding out if I'm up for any fun.

If you're serious about developing significant business, having a website and doing some advertising probably works better than just wandering the casino floor hoping to find guys.

Here's my advice:
-
1. Do more research on TER and with Google to find the 3 or 4 hotels that are less sensitive to working girls there at night (11:00 pm to 6:00 am).
2. Find the bars and slot areas nearest the elevators to the guest rooms. This is the optimal target rich area, and the shortest walk from meeting on the floor to getting into the room.
3. Carefully feel out the bartenders/hostesses at the bar noted above. Tip them BIG for your drinks and make small talk. Let them know you're planning on hanging out at the bar (because you're bored, waiting for friend, really like THIS bar, etc.). Do not specifically tell them, make small chat and be somewhat obvious when you spot a single guy at the bar. If they are making money on you (from tips or the guy buying you drinks), they will tolerate you and will help you keep a low profile if/when security guards are around.
4. Don't overdress. Noting screams HOOKER like a low-cut, gold sequined mini-skirt and thigh-high red boots at 4:00 am.
5. To work the slots area, look for guys playing the 1-cent or 5-cent machines. Sit down next to or one seat away and after a few minutes, start to converse casually... "Oh damn! I just can't win!", "Wow you're killing on that machine. What's your secret?", or "Excuse me, do you know how these player cards work?"... then let the flirting flow...

FOLLOW UP:

My original post was mostly misunderstood.

1. I did not intend to "flirt" to find mongers and pick them up in the casino like a cold call.  My thought was to post the event on my website a week in advance just to let people know that I'll be available all weekend long,  all hours.  I will certainly screen and converse that same way as I always do.

2. I will change the location on my ad so that anyone from the area or actually in the casino can say, "Hey, I think she's actually HERE."  Of course I won't be specific in the ad or in my website, but put up enough for a potential client to know that I will be nearby.

3.  The PURPOSE of my post went to my concern about EXTRA SECURITY and LE at Casinos.  I opened up the post poorly, thinking in my mind of the "old days" when certain hotels did have girls on a call list for certain customers.  I have heard that 4 and 5 star hotels try to chase providers out.  But a nice 3 star hotel may have girls working their pretty much full-time and turn a blind eye.  Again, my concern was to determine if a Casino HOTEL is too hot to work in.  That's all.

4. Also, I'm east coast.  Not Nevada.

Thank you!
Jade
