Socked in a bit because of an unexpected winter storm and heavy snow. It made me wonder. Are you more likely to venture out and see a provider or less likely?  

Why do you say that bad weather gives guys an excuse to be out and about? I'd be expected to be shovelling snow not driving to unspecified locations, especially when everything is closed.  

If I have a session booked, I honor it if humanly possible (assuming the provider can still make it).  If I don’t have anything already scheduled, I don’t schedule something just because the weather is terrible.

has kept me from my appointed rounds to my regular ladies.  However, if it's a bad storm, I may refrain from booking a new girl I haven't seen before.  Heavy storms have slowed business for the ladies that I know.  It's never a tough call to decide when it's raining if I want to go out and get my dick wet.  

I’m mentally “there” when it’s a being sunny day. Rain or snow is too depressing, like living in Seattle.

Even better for guys with SO. Need salt for sidewalk, Shovel broke, etc. Good explanation for being out for a long time, madhouse at the hardware store.

I usually try to take and advantage of that by trying to book someons who is usually pre-booked (agency point of view here)  

No way I could blame what would amount to about a three hour absence on getting a shovel - I have three of them. And I have a hardware store, a Home Depot, and a Lowes all within a mile of me.  

Generally try to avoid any travel on severe snow days.

It hasn't happened but I imagine if I made a far out date for a touring provider and then a snow storm came along, I'd try to fulfill the appointment.  But for near term dates, I'd always check the forecast.

I work on the otherside of town from where I live.  If ever a storm dumbs so much snow that travel home from work becomes a several hour trek, I might try calling a provider I know who is close to where I work and see if she'd be up for a visit.  Hasn't happened yet.

Traffic in Northern Virginia and the DMV sucks. People stuck on I95 (40 miles) for more than 24 hours on the road not moving at all, these past few days is a good example. I can leave on time for an appointment, 15 miles away, and be 30 minutes late or just jammed up for an hour. Or be there half an hour early - this place sucks for traffic.

Really,  so when you say "honey - I am going to get a new shovel and some salt and on the way back I will visit my ATF for an hour" you SO doesn't respond "have a great time"

Travel this morning was treacherous. Interstate 93 was closed due to spin outs.
My driveway was all black ice.
I would not book an appt. if the weather meant unsafe travel conditions (this morning).  
or if it could seriously impede on-time arrival.
If the appt. were booked in advance but weather became unsafe, I would start a dialogue with the provider.  
Maybe she is as unwilling to travel as I am, if she has not arrived at her location yet.
If she has, the dialogue allows us to share our expectations of the impact of the unsafe conditions on the appt.

My ex would give me a fucking laundry list of shit to do, "While you're out get eggs, and stop by and get the prescriptions - and if you can get me some beef jerky while you're out and a pop would be great".
