You can't tell me it was love, either.  It made me realize that they just wanted to get married and I was an interchangeable part to them.

One of them just wanted babies, the other two just wanted to be supported.  I just wanted to escape.  Frankly, it scared the hell out of me, and is probably why I never remarried.

Seriously!

More than 2/3 of the women I have been in a relationship with over the course of my life have gotten married at some point after we broke up.

NOW, I've read that a provider/porn star/ex-ATF that I've had an off and on  "relationship" with over several years is now engaged.

I seriously hope her fiance knows what he's getting into.  I wonder if he knows.

Sheesh.

A lot of ex-GFs got married after we broke up. Two of them married a guy named Mike, as a matter of fact.

I don't find any real correlation, just the irony of it. Talked with one for a little while, and one calls me and sends Xmas cards. Sent me pix of their kids. Wondered what I was up to and asked mutual friends.

Another thing I found amusing was some of them live in Texas now. 3 of them live in Houston... ;)

Yeah... through the whole FB thing, it seems that if all of my ex's have connected with me ... kind of like to show me what I missed out on with the whole family photo things or something like that. There is only one from college that makes me want to kick myself in my ass for not sticking around and taking the job a thousand miles away.... she's still smoking hot after 3 kids. Good genes...

I can only think of one that has not gotten married but she was a complete basket case.... one of those that was so smokin' hot in her younger days that I just put up with her mental issues... Super High Maintenance and all of the other BS ... and age caught up to her to where personality became something to actually consider.

Nowadays.. the whole lovie dovie thing just does not work for me. Blow somebody off and it seems like they come back and make a point of letting me know they now have a BF. Whatever....

Got a 23 year old hottie texting me non-stop now.... Not sure how she's going to take it when I tell her that I prefer to "Hobby" and the whole dating thing is just not going to work with my schedule......

Probably won't be long until she sends me picks of her new boyfriend..... LOL!

who desperately wanted to marry me.  She was convinced I was going to ask her to marry her even though I never once told her I loved her (I have no fucking idea why she thought that).  But when I didn't, she got so pissed off at me, and turned off to men in general, instead of marrying the next guy, she never dated again!

Since we weren't in love, I can only imagine that the real reason for her tears was that she was losing her looks and hadn't succeeded in locking down anyone before that dreaded day when nobody wants your junk and you lose your leverage over men!
