Depending on the genre of the film the client could view this as false advertising if her performance does not match the film.

That said, I remember a very well known Thai provider about the same time as you are talking about, ten years ago or so, who used to do the very same thing, but I never really noticed too much as she did a VERY good job of keeping me focused on her.

 
In other countries, I do remember almost every "casa" I have visited in Nicaragua had porn playing in all the rooms. Nicaragua is an interesting place where it comes to P4P, You could go to any one of dozens of casas that were full of "6's-7's" and take two girls back to a room with you for about $25 hr total, not per girl, or you could go to a strip club and pay US prices of about $25 a drink for an 8 or 9, usually an import from Colombia. I remember the "bar fine" to take one of the strippers out started at about $200 US PLUS what the girl charged. Personally, I'd rather just go to Colombia.

You're right, I hadn't seen it all that often. but it's been awhile since I've done an incall appointment and the one I do see aren't into the porn thing, I don't think she has a TV in her room come to think of it.
But like you, it doesn't do much for me.
