Rebound.  Alcohol is a depressant.  While under the influence, your body tries to compensate via excitatory mechanisms.  The end result is that when the alcohol wears off, your body is in an overly excited state compared to your normal baseline.  This is rebound.

Now, whether this directly relates to more excitation in your genital nerve endings, I'm not sure.

Does this ever happen to anyone else?  After a night where I drank maybe a little too much- not like passed out or anything, just more than one or two drinks and in a condition where you definitely shouldn’t drive and your feeling pretty good-  the next morning I wake up ten times hornier and sensitive than usual.  

On these mornings I normally wake up at the same time as usual but with maybe less sleep.  My body knows I drank the night before, ie I’m feeling slightly de-hydrated and my sleep wasn’t the most sound, but I’m revved up beyond belief.  

Also on these mornings, my body feels sexual sensations so much more intensely than usual.  When I was married, screwing my wife these mornings was so much more “stimulating” just because it felt better- the pleasure was so heightened.  Not that we did anything differently- it just plain felt better to me.  Now I live alone so most mornings I have to work it out myself before going to work but on the days like I described above, it still feels more sensitive and more intense.  I had one of those days this morning and I couldn’t believe how intense and long lasting the orgasm was yet I did nothing different than usual.  Does anyone else experience this same feeling?  Does anyone know why it would occur?  I’m wondering if the de-hydration has an impact?  Different sleep pattern due to alcohol in the system? Nerve endings more sensitive as alcohol leaves your system?  I would love to learn how to recreate this whenever I want without the over indulging part.

Any all Mikey board would require a little booze to put things in the proper light. The problem is I turn into a real A-hole after I start drinking because I quit moderating myself and If people think your scary drunk they would not like me at all. There is a reason I rarely drink and I only drink when looking for a fight.

...if I overindulge. As you pointed out, dehydration, headache and generally feeling crappy are my "morning after" symptoms and my system needs time to just get back to normal, let alone "extra revved up."

Given that your body is processing additional toxins, I can't imagine why you would have heightened sensitivity, as many of your bodily systems are working overtime to clear the residue.

Any MD's who care to enlighten us?

I haven't had a drink since 1994, but I still remember the "hangover hornies" It's amazing what your body can do even in that condition.

For me, it's a real small sweet spot. Drink just enough and I'm all jacked up but usually the morning after I'm just sluggish after drinking. If I drink just a little too much, then forget it. I'm done for. I will feel too much like crap to do anything at all. That's why I try not to drink too much. But, seemingly, I have to keep reminding myself of that lesson over and over.
