So I just opened a small business credit card a couple of weeks ago. Love those travel friendly credit cards. The CC is with a big bank, so they got all kinds of fraud alerts and shit going on.   The moment I start using my card I get an email and text saying a potential fraud has been detected on my account, and I should call and confirm it's me.. They want me to do what? CALL ?  Do they not know how much I hate talking on the phone?.. I mean seriously.. Phone is to watch porn. Not to talk to people..What is this 1997?  

 
Anyhoo... I drag that shit for rest of the day and into next day.. Another 2 texts asking me to call or they will put a freeze on my account.  I don't want that.. So I pick up the phone and call.. After going thru numerous automated responses,  a sweet lady answers...

 
After the  normal small talk, she asks me to confirm answer to my question "What is your favorite hobby?" Not knowing off the top of my head what the answer was, I respond.. "Baseball....???? "  She responds.."No... It starts with a J..."    I am embarrassed beyond belief and I hang up immediately.  How was I going to tell this stranger that I had chosen "Jerking off" as my hobby.  I mean I am a fuckin' pervert, and a life long professional monger, but I am quite aware of the norms of society we live in..  Additionally, I was under the impression that this shit is encrypted, and while I have been occasionally asked to verify answers to my questions, especially logging from a different location, I don't remember ever being asked by a real person on the other end to verify it verbally. Who knew financial institutions keep this information as clear text.  

 
So I log in my account, change the secret question to something more family friendly, and call back in a couple of hours. Thankfully, I get a different person.  

 
Now I better hurry up and change secret question on my other credit card from "pussy licking" to something else, before I find myself in a fix again.. Only if I can remember which Credit Card it is.. LOL
