I'd like to hear especially from the men (clients) on this one although female (provider/escort) opinion is valuable as well.  Bringing an escort to a function - family or business, has it gone well?  If you know, how did the civvies around you perceive your relationship?  Were they thinking "that new girlfriend of his is really great" or "it's so obvious he brought a hooker"?

I haven't taken a provider to a family function for marital reasons. I have take a provider to business functions in different parts of the country for multiple days. For me it works fine, we're close to the same age so no one gives that a second thought and I only take ladies that I have common interests with.

Since most of my business functions are for multiple days and are out of town, I take several overnights before I even consider having one escort me on one of these longer trips.

As for how others perceive it and your question "if it's obvious you brought a hooker"? They'll only think you brought a hooker if they dress like one and don't know how to present themselve. The vast majority of people at my functions have thought she was a GF and some have thought she was my wife. With that said we get along really well, have spent a lot of time together, and she's outgoing and the life of the party.

If I were single I would do it in a heart beat for family or business events. I once did a trade show out of town and hired one for the booth. It went extremely well, the next year people were asking for her! The SO never knew I hired someone.
