Having been around as long as I have, plenty of providers tell me stuff.  One tells me that I know as much as her OB/GYN, and others are less graphic but share the same way.  One that I hear fairly often is the issue of rates.  I'll start with my opinion.  I'm a guy and love pussy, but I love money too.  If I can get more pussy for less money, I'm game for that.  BUT, I also know that spending time between a woman's legs is different than buying a lawn mower.  It's not like I can see that I get the same mower with the same manual and warranty for 30% off because it's snowing out.  I figure that if I chisel her down, I may not get the same grade A service.  So, with that as a base....

What's the deal with haggling for a better rate?  I've heard of guys playing some interesting games.  He sees her at a party and explains that she's hot but out of his range.  She bites and "offers" a deal.  It's higher than he was hoping for, so he schedules and then bails at the last minute.  A week later, a buddy schedules and cancels at the last minute.  If she asserts on the boards that it's more than a coincidence, she's branded a drama queen and has announced publicly that she offers deals.  To me, that's like BBFS in that lots offer but nobody wants it known.  Another scenario is when a HDH posts and a herd of droolers come out to shower her with useless affection, followed by...if I could only afford your rate.  I'm not even saying that she (or it) is worth the asking price.  It's just that it seems foolish to assume that it can be bought down without a corresponding reduction in the intangible.

Rate haggling is acceptable in a car lot, and perhaps a flea market..not with women who give a great deal of themselves to you.  Gentlemen have to realize they shouldn't be going after what they can't afford and ladies don't let anyone determine the value of your time, effort and offerings. Respect.  Pretty simple concept, actually!

Actually, I kind of invented the phrase (and ackroym) for Gambler, when I responded to a post of his with "fuck you and the horse you rode in on."  He said he didn't ride horses, so I changed it to whores, and we have mainly used the phrase to flame each other.  But since he and LP are probably the same person, I figured what the fuck.

and if she looks like someone I want to see and she is in my budget I make contact. If she is out of my budget, then I pass and will not make contact. If a higher end lady is offering specials, I will take the bait. But haggling just seems stupid. Her rate is her rate. You can afford it or not. It is not only rude to haggle but like you said, even if you are successful, what the hell makes you think you are going to get her A game now?
