I put together a week long vacation to visit my son and daughter-in-law. I booked myself into a five star as not to infringe on their personal space AND to allow my own as well. (wink)

We got together each day after their busy workday for drinks and dinner catching up on each others busy lives. Midway through the week I made the suggestion that we all take the next night off so that they could relax, spend a quiet night at home and get to bed at a reasonable hour. (what a guy )

With the next 24 hours to myself I arranged a date with a favorite provider of mine intending to make it a longer... play, dinner, play date. It was set for the next evening and was especially exciting for me because I was going to take her to an upscale restaurant that I was anxious to try. I made the reservation for two.
(Yum.. pussy and seafood )

The moment arrived and Ms Sexy walked through the door. It wasn't long before I realized that something was bothering her. She asked if I would mind if she just spent the two hours with me forgoing dinner. She explained that she was flying out very early the next morning. I told her that I understood appreciating whatever time that we spent together.

Once we said our goodbyes and the door shut behind her I realized how hungry that I was despite how much I had just eaten. (smile) I decided to keep the reservation and off I went alone. The waiter that greeted me was young 30ish friendly with a good sense of humor. He took good care of my single malt scotch urges, delivering courses of seafood and a bottle of way over priced wine which we joked about.

I liked the restaurant enough that I decided to take my son and daughter-in-law there later in the week. So off we went for an overdose of steak and lobster.

Now what are the chances that we were to be seated in the same section with the same waiter as a few nights prior. The answer... pretty damn good. Hey, at least I knew I service was going to be excellent.

Once we were all seated he came over to the table to welcome us which is when my son and daughter-in-law said " Hey Justin, How have you been ?" ... " I didn't know that you worked here ". As it turns out, the three of them are long lost friends. My son then immediately introduced me as dad while Justin interjected, " Your kidding me " ... " I waited on your dad the other night as well " ... " Gee, what are the chances ".
Yeah, Justin, " What are the chances ?"

My son then jokingly said " Hey Justin, was he alone " ... Justin answered " Yes he was ".

That's when I added, " Hey, its a good thing I didn't bring my ebony girlfriend with me. "

Everyone got a kick out of that one.

I got sloppy. I was stupid. I got lucky.

Dude, I was a little worried about where that story was going. Keep in mind, you should never, never, ever, take family or civilians to any place where you would take a lady. Talk about an indiscretion. Your son might have understood, but he'd might not forget and your daughter-in-law would have trouble keeping her composure when your wife (assuming you are married) was around. Sometimes taking our friends out means we have to be willing to accept that there is no such thing as privacy unless you find yourself in Kiev as in the Ukraine.

i had scheduled date that i was looking forward to immensely. it involved folks of keen interest (not in my profile, i hasten to add.)

i started to get hassle with regard to work though. there were plans afoot to send me traveling. even back then work was slowing down a little so there were good business reasons to make the trip and forego fun. but the date had had some issues getting scheduled and i was really reluctant to reschedule. so i was hesitating a little.

my mind was made up when i started getting conflicting intel about the date. first was a vague warning that the date was "compromised". i checked with anouther source that said "no way". then out of the blue i got a very specific email from a friend who watches my back that got me thinking i was walking into a very unpleasant situation.

becaue of health issues i restrict my intake of coffee and NEVER eat doughnuts.

my hesitation about traveling for business was droppped like a radioactively hot potato. i canceled the date on the basis of business travel. i looked for signs of a problem. sure enough, on the day of my date, in the location of my date, there was a very unhappy "festivity" that made the public record.

thanks to those who warned me.

from a trip to the near east, I'll call it, with a co-worker. We were in the business class lounge in Amsterdam waiting for our next flight when we ran into his Uncle and cousin. They were flying to the states from their overseas home for some vacation fun.

I have had many other similar experiences...

I think every time any of us married guys do anything, we put ourselves at some level of risk.  I am reminded of the time that I ran into a fellow board member of the smallish company I was running in Michigan at a small jewelry store in Warsaw, Poland.  Neither he nor I knew that we were even traveling abroad at the time.  I was with my wife, but, if I had been with another woman, I certainly would have had my guard WAY DOWN on the chances of running into someone I knew well, (much less, someone who knew my wife and could kill my career in an instant), in Warsaw frigging Poland!

I am always careful, but no amount of care can overcome what I call "the reverse lottery ticket".

But back in April when I was in LV, one of my dates was with Tasha. Yeah, I know. She digs me for some reason. ;)

ANYWAY...

We were to have lunch with Channelguy and his GF, who doesn't know what he does. The four of us meet in the lobby of my hotel and head over to the restaurant.

We're talking, and CG's lovely lady asks how we know each other. Without missing a beat we tell her we met on the net, which is true. It was just a different VENUE that brought us together that day.

They were there for a racing deal, and I was there to relax and be with friends(Tash, Allure`,LovelyLorena) ;)

So they did most of the talking while I kicked back wondering if CG was nervous if someone would slip!

But it went off great, they went to their gig and Tash and I went to our's.

She and I talked about it upstairs, and agreed CG is a great guy and his GF was a nice lady. Especially nice rack, too.

Sorry CG! ;)

The provider had specific knowledge that could benefit the S.O.. So I brought the provider home to help the S.O. She DID help her to some extent too.

I have to say that in retrospect, I was putting an awful lot of faith in that provider and it was pretty freakin' weird sitting in one room while my wife and a woman I was fucking were chatting.

Was on a date with my ATF, had dinner and was returning to my hotel with her.  Got off the elevator and was taking out the room key when a couple LE approached.

The hotel was being watched and they were doing a major sweep.  I have no reason to think they targeted me or my date but were just fishing with every couple that looked to fit their profile (20+ yrs difference in age was probably a start).

They seperated us right away and from what they asked me I'm guessing they were looking for inconsistencies in answers.  I question if they'd have made it stick but when I looked outside the local TV truck was there so the embarrasment factor was likely the real goal anyway.

Fortunately it WAS my ATF:  I knew her real name, address, and had a photo of the 2 of us in my wallet.  She to could spit out my name and lots of details about me that convinced LE we were real BF/GF.

If it had been anyone buy my ATF it would have been stickier.

Many years ago I took a mid-week vacation day and borrowed a friend's truck to pick up some landscape materials for a project around the house.  I had to drive to another town about 80 miles away to pick it up.

Hot lady friend says if I'm taking a day off, she'd like to tag along to keep me company.  I don't see the harm, so I pick her up and off we go to in my friend's wife's truck.

I've lived in the area for 10 years and never been to this town, and no one I know has ever been to this town.  And for good reason, It's a shit hole and there's no reason to ever go to this town, except to do what I was doing.

I pick up the building supplies, we have lunch, drive back to my town and I drop off hot lady friend.  I spend the rest of the day working, everything's cool.  Then the following weekend, my wife and I have dinner with the couple that own the truck.  After dinner, we have drinks at my house.  At this point, the truck's owner asks me (in front of my wife) who the hot lady was I was seen driving around with in her truck.  Needless to say, despite my best efforts at improvising, it just hung in the air like a fart in church and there was no way to recover.  They left a few minutes later and then the fun began with my wife.

Apparently, some hayseed hick recognized my friend's truck, but didn't recognize me or the hot lady.  He calls her and wants to know whose driving her truck.  The truck's owner doesn't have the decency to have her husband ask me this in private.  Instead, she traps me in a corner in front of my wife after a nice night out.

My wife and I were separated a short time later, and divorced within a year.  It was a one in a million chance that someone would recognize me in a town I'd never been to before, but that's exactly what happened.  It cost me half of my assets, the house, 16 years of child support, and the chance to raise my son.

You may stand a better chance of getting hit by lighting than getting recognized, but if your luck runs out, you're just as dead.

OMG, Alfred!  What kind of police state do you live in?  Is that legal?  Did they need more probable cause than your age difference and the fact that you had pleasant faces, since most married couples look just a little peavish, even on their best days.  Maybe the guys over at legal corner would set me straight, but since it was YOUR hotel, I can't imagine whether there was sufficient probable cause to compel you into saying anything.  I would have just STFU and told the LE to take whatever issues they had up with the management of the hotel, because all I am doing is renting a room.

But then again, I have something of a temper.

Reminds me of something that happened 15-20 years ago. Yeah, I'm a little fuzzy on the time frame.

Every Friday was a party at a house I shared with a couple guys. This one was especially rowdy.

Cops came to the door and someone let them in. There was a bong on the counter, as well as a mirror laying there for, well, if you don't know don't ask.

They came in, saw this shit, and I come around the corner and jumped their shit.

'Who the fuck let you in?! I live here, they don't!'

Told them to get the fuck out, which they did. BUT, told me they'll be waiting for people to leave so they can bust their asses for DUI or whatever. Told them my guests are staying the night and they'll be waiting a very long time.

Everyone had a good time, and no one got popped when they eventually left.

I miss that place. ;)

Agree they likely had no probable cause and I doubt it would've gone anywhere, but the TV truck was obviously been tipped off and that part bothered me more.  I didn't want the pub for me or for her.

I'd have been closed mouth except for who I was with. Felt I could talk my way through it and was confident she'd do the same since we had all the info about each other, down to her dog's name.

Probably wasn't the brightest thing I've done, I admit that.

I confirmed it with his brother, so I believe it.

This guy knows a hooker that he calls once in a while his wife is either away or at work.  Usually, he had a place he could take her where he worked, but he couldn't on this day so he decided to take a long lunch and take her to his house.

The two of them are fucking on the living room floor while his wife is at work.  Everything's fine and then they suddenly hear this huge crash.  He gets up and looks out the window only to see a police chase has ended with a car hitting the tree in his front yard.  The driver is injured, so an ambulance shows up a few minutes later, then the fire department.  All the neighbors also come out and are milling around in front of his house trying to see what the commotion is all about.

Now, his car is in the driveway and the only way out is either through the front door or the side door, both of which are clearly visible from the road.  As he's thinking this couldn't possibly get any worse, the TV news van shows up and starts video taping the whole scene, complete  with plenty of shots of his house and his car sitting in the driveway while he was supposed to be at work!

When the inevitable knock at the door came to see if anyone was home, he thought he was totally screwed.  He got the girl dressed and sent her out the back window and over the neighbor's fence.  He then got in his car and drove around the block to pick her up.

This guy really dodged a bullet, because the only thing he had to explain to his wife when she watched the news is why his car was in the driveway.  He just said he wasn't feeling well and went home for lunch.

So this guy got lucky this time.  But the lesson for the kids out there is you never, ever mess around at home.  It doesn't matter if your wife is in Africa on a safari for a month, don't do it!

See I never understand why people do that. Keep your mouth shut and don't get involved in other people's relationships. If you are the mistress and good friend of the wife then ok go ahead confess and beg for forgiveness. I myself have been in situations where I found out one of my friends belonging to a couple was cheating, it's not my business so I keep my mouth shut. Even if you are trying to be a good samaritan by outing someone you always look like the bitch(I'm a woman). lol

Honestly speaking if my SO is cheating on me and one of my friends see it, please don't bother to tell me I don't want to know. If I want to find out, I will find out on my own. How did your friend know that you didn't pick up some hitchhiker or it was your cousin or something?

Sorry this happened to you....:)

"well my friend said the woman was sitting next to you in the truck."  As in she slid over to the middle seat.

So this so-called friend of ours just wouldn't let it go and we ended up getting divorced as a result (after being married 12 years).  I don't know how anybody could be so clueless, or deliberately vindictive to do that to someone else.

I've spent a lot of time wondering why she just couldn't keep her mouth shut, or like I said, just have her husband ask me in private. The way she did it, there was almost only one outcome and I can't believe she didn't realize that.

Now I didn't know it at the time, but I found out after this happened that they had just joined a church and "got religion," so maybe she thought it was her duty to out the "sinner" to his wife  But if that's the case, I can only hope she finds out what it feels like someday.

What are the chances of that? We were both there for the 1988 games and just bumped into each other.

I was already divorced, but if I hadn't been, I would have felt very safe being out on the street 5,500 miles from home.  But then I ran into this guy who knew all the same people I knew socially.  Had I been with a woman, it would have been game over.

I really think this is why it's so much better to see escorts who are professionals and know how to exercise a little discretion.  If you're dating a civie, you're never safe, no matter how far you travel away from home.

I haven't seen him in 20 years.  If there was ever a case of why you should observe the "Man Code," this was it.  A little warning would have saved my marriage, or better yet, he could have told his wife to mind her own damn business and keep her fucking mouth shut!

As you guessed, he was whipped and even though he was a cool guy, he let his unpleasant wife, bitchy, little wife lead him around.  I've never understood guys like that.

We took crazy chances...  had sex all sorts of places under her control, her camper, boat, her home her work place (she'd have been fired for sure).  I got shoved into a back room once when an aquaintance stopped by for an hour or so.   It was an open secret...  everyone arond us knew.  Her husband sensed it but never caught us.  Once he figured out, he watched her like a hawk & we still kept at it.  It took several tries & 5 years to make it stick & totally end it.
