Apparently the OP has more behind the scenes info than I do.

Damn, it didn't work...I was trying to get the alias to show up in red.  It only works when I don't want it too.  Guess that does make me a confused moderator.  Sheesh.

To any guy that has posted a fake review on any showcase you really need to stop yourself and ask would I like it if this was happening to me? And the answer would probably be NO! So be honest and post the truth. I read one today about a friend of mine and what it said about her was totally a huge lie. What they said happen never did. So yes I know alot of showcases on this site and if I run across fake reviews, I will be able to find you through I.P. address.

Fake review is a big problem, there needs to be a way to stop the fucking shit.

it aint good for anyone!!!

hope there is a red button we can anonymously click next to each review, at least new ones.

like the urban dictionary voting system?

At least if you're going to start throwing out the gauntlet, have some balls and show you're 'true' username.

How's anyone going to take your fucking ass seriously if you don't show who you are?

Just sayin'! ;)

It's nice that you look out for your friends, Jeremy. Have you ever thought that you can help them out more by writing positive reviews?
Give it a shot. It helps them, and gives you a little (emphasis on "little") more cred when you speak.

Oh...and your bit about IP address is full of shit and you know it. Avoid saying things like that. It could (could, mind you) make someone look like a total tool-bag douche.

Have fun out there, Sparky.

I am all for tagging fake reviews, but the threats have no place on TER.

If you want to do some good, have the provider inform TER that said review is fake and let her handle it with admin.
Do you think you can get your head out of her ass long enough to do that?

You aint the first one who thought of that buddy.

A provider trashing people on another board pretty much came out and arrogantly admitted she created another TER userid so she could remain anonymous because "she didn't want the backlash of the truth c oming back to hurt her". What's your concern, jeremy?

YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY? Submit the same post using your real ter handle. Then we'll see if you're worth paying attention to, or if you're just another poser.

And if this IS your real TER userid? Then you have the cachet of toast.

Have a nice day.

It is entirely legitimate to complain about fake reviews &c.

What is NOT legitimate is a broad-brushed non-specific threat that cannot even be exercised because he has no access to the information required to bring it to fruition.

And this idea of trying to escape consequences for misbehavior through creating a second account is ridiculous.

First you accuse the dude (idiot more appropriate), that he has created a second TER user ID.

Then you state; "And if this IS your real TER userid? Then you have the cachet of toast.", which means you certainly are not sure if he did or he did not.

Don't ya think you really need to have the goods on somebody prior to accusing them of something? Right now, I don't know if it is a second userid or not. Do you?

Even as a confused Moderator, I don't believe you would be privy to that information.

I make no excuses for the OP being a moron.

Jeremy,

I just had a fake review removed by admin. Most of my past and present TER guest knew almost right away this was a fake review.

It is a huge slap in the face to have some unknown person write a review of a session that the provider knows NEVER happened.

FOR MOST ladies regardless of the volume of clients we see....we have a predictable pattern during a session.....however there is always something about each guest that is memorable.

I said all that to say this.....it is the job of the provider to go through the correct channels to have the review removed. The best way to handle that is to do it quietly, with as much decorum as possible. Not to have a hobbyist who has not contributed to our community via a review to get on the general board spouting off about back tracking an IP address.

BTW the threat to back track an ip address caused me to go get my Degree and look at it like GEEZ WHAT DID I MISS HERE? I may need to get a few more certifications under my belt, but I am not that out of synch with the rest of the IT community.

But in order th backtrack it, I need to know what it is.

There is nowhere on this site that the IP address from which a review was posted is available for a regular member's perusal. A regular member just doesn't have access to the data.

And without that access, he isn't backtracking anything.

So either he is TER Admin (and thus has access to that data) or he is making idle threats demonstrating his own lack of knowledge. I sincerely doubt he is ter admin.

I agree with his idea that fake reviews need to be removed.

But disagree with his threats which reveal him to not be as knowledgeable as he thinks.

Oh I know how to back track an ip address....but I was sitting here blinking and wondering how a review is being back tracked by an end user on TER?

That makes me think Jeremy committed an Id 10 t error.

Look, I might be confused most of the time. However, I am not confused about you.

First off there are a lot of fake reviews handed down on this site. Perhaps you can come back to this board and post something with more revelation than that tid-bit.

"Showcases", WTF is that. lmfao again you are showing the ignorance that caused you to post it in the first place.

You "know alot about showcases" eh? With that you have threatened others, with tracking IP addresses. That pal is totally laughable. You have ABSOLUTELY NO WAY of tracking IP addresses as a standard user here on this site. That is of course, unless you were able to get that information from a moderator (not a chance). So in other words an idle threat.

This is just a board based on 'FANTASY'.

Some fantasize to the tune of 846. Some to just 1. LMAO
