I still think it should be a review system, but very basic. No details. Simply, would you see the girl, are are pictures real and reflect how she looks to date, etc. Also, would like to post tours daily or like you mentioned, let the ladies have a calendar.

drives business to the providers.  Before hobbyists spend their hard-earned cash on a little entertainment, they want to read a review just like they would for an expensive restaurant.  Granted, how someone else enjoyed their meal doesn't automatically mean you will enjoy yours, but with so many options out there, the more information you have, the more you can make a fully informed decision that you're less likely to regret later.

The review system has built-in incentives for good service, and disincentives for bad service, so for me, it has helped guide me to the true professionals here that want to give me an experience that will make me want to come back again and again rather than seeing girls that view this as temporary work driven by present financial desperation where they don't enjoy what they are doing and just want to run out the clock with the bare minimum of service for the customer.  These two opposite approaches to the business are readily discernible from reading reviews and help me to choose more wisely.

I assume that you have bought things through Amazon in the past. What is the most money you spent on a single item at Amazon without reading some of the reviews?

Without reviews to guide me, my hobby activities have dropped from 1-2 times weekly to little or none at all. Now only seeing previous providers who I know and trust, and that list is shrinking with time thanks to the new law and old friends leaving the business for various reasons.

My bank account is happy but I am not.

Whatever safety or legal standing you've been told you have sans descriptive reviews, I assure you, is a complete farce.

By the time you're in court hearing your reviews read aloud to you, you're so properly fucked (legally speaking) that the content of the reviews doesn't matter.

If you want to avoid that unpleasant situation, make sure you screen and screen well.

I think a calendar would be useful, and a tours section on the profiles directly would likely solve some frustration.

New functionality aside, I think TER could score some brownie points by ditching the rating system for something better (see link below).

You reach a point in your life after a lot of hard work where you can do what you want regardless of the cost, and then the choices start drying up (no pun intended), leaving you with an unwanted cash surplus.  (Some won't see the irony in this. Lol).

Please don't forget there are ladies you can see that hopefully treat you like gold. These time are trying for both the ladies trying to hang in there and not give up on making this work for them, and of course the gentlemen trying to make their way and see ladies that will show them a great time!

I noticed none of your reviews are showing up, which means the ladies you've reviewed probably don't know there is a way to get their profiles/reviews active again. Maybe reaching out to them to let them know there is a way to get back on TER would be helpful for both parties.

And please don't forget ladies out there that can be added to your list if ladies to reach out to.

I personally love Ter and I understand the value of the reviews, but at this point I'm not sure Ter will be back. The only question I have is WHY sites like E*O*S and S**XA are still alive while Ter is gone?
Sorry for typos

and they are not going to simply let it wither away.  No doubt they are working with their lawyers to come up with changes they believe will keep them out of jeopardy.  As for Eros and Slixa, they are still alive because their owners have decided to take the risk of keeping them up as is and hoping the hammer doesn't come down.  Just a different business decision.

As opposed to Eros. While they are hosted off shore, they still have a US footprint which puts them at a far greater risk and of serious consideration by LE.

In this day you need to have your business and hosting offshore.

What I chose to do with a client is between the client and I.  What are guys going to do without reviews now? Take your damn chances or don't see the lady right?

There are plenty of men out there that don't mind a lady not having detailed reviews.

The reviews are one of the reasons TER is not available in the US.

And even that is not an iron-clad guarantee because of the Cloud section of the law.

From what I've heard in the past most ladies never got much from that site. Has that changed now? I tried them back in the day for free for 90 days and got nada. It's a great looking site, always has been. I spend A LOT of time in North Carolina! ;-)

I don't need all the gory details, but at least knowing a provider is gfe is a must. And while some dislike the  rundown of services offered in the review outline....it eliminated the need to try to ask a provider any of those sticky questions that send many running for the hills.
But the juicy details section of reviews was more than I needed to feel I was making an informed decision. To be candid.... the review process was skewed anyway....leaning either way. I've heard of providers who were quite opposite to their portrayal in review both in positive and negative terms.
Now.... there is nothing to go on. No way to know if the service level is what you're looking for.
No way to get a feel if you are compatible with a certain provider. And an awkward or straight up bad encounter is just as bad as resources spent on said encounter.
In current circumstances, only the low class guys still have free roam, since they don't give a shit about anything except sticking it somewhere. I would imagine that those are the guys an upscale provider would wish to avoid.

That’s what I meant about a US footprint

I’ll read the cloud language again but it more to benefit foreigner countries getting information about a US site and business.

A friend I know asked me about it. She signed up 4 days ago and has 3 or more good ones from it. She asked if it was worth going VIP. I could only suggest she keeps the available now on and condsider VIP and photo verification that’s not asking for ID, at least that’s what she thought she read.

Think she gave them an Amazon gift card with 100. That got her 125 points. It currently cost 3 points a day, 6 I think if you go VIP. She’s in DC area.

Good Luck

On the contrary, I'm surprised offshore review sites haven't sprung up to grab all the money on the table. If I were a foreign national I'd be working furiously to get a website online. US laws pertain to onshore sites and people, or US citizens. US law does not pertain to offshore foreign nationals.

Personally I think Slixa works better in cities like DC, NYC and Boston, maybe even FL. I came to the conclusion a while back that the Carolinas is just a harder market to get biz compared to other markets. Charlotte may be the one exception. What's happened with Fosta has really hurt some of the smaller markets.

TER was very good for me when I travelled and I got a lot of booking from it. I ponied up for a one month ad on Er#s and right now it's beyond frustrating getting a quality dates there. It's the first time I've used it since 2016 and OMG the emails I'm getting. I have gotten maybe one that has potential for the end of May. I may give Slixa down the road or when travelling to DC/NOVA. Right figuring out where to promoting myself when planning an out of state trip is difficult to say the least.

If they are out of reach of prosecution I suggest that fits the operative definition of a law not pertaining to someone. Some people might sacrifice traveling to the US in exchange for a $10 million yearly income, those crazy foreigners.

When it comes to porn, U.S. Code › Title 18 › Part I › Chapter 110 › § 2257 applies. You see a 2257 disclaimer on every porn video.
.
The proof of identity, age, etc. is held by a special agent, often a lawyer or law group. The producers will know the name and ID of the stars when they check in for the shoot but they do not need to keep the actual paperwork. No one can just walk up the lawyers and ask to flip thru the records.
.
If a porn producer is accused of hiring a minor, she can provide her own proof to the contrary and he is off the hook. If she is unavailable (moved back to Europe, changed her name, doesn't want to testify, etc.), the records kept with the lawyer will prove her legal age and exonerate the producer of any such charge.
.
What is the proper analogy here?  TER is kind of the producer. "Provide proof to the specially designated Trusted Lawyer Group. They will assure us (TER, Eros, Slixa, ...) and indemnify us that you are legal and we do not need to know or keep your personal info."
.
How am I doing so far? Would an independent age and non-trafficked authentication service be of use? That agency can certify athletes, student workers and so on, not ONLY SWs. They do not need to know WHY someone is asking to be certified. Info is stored OFF-LINE since it needs to be accessed only rarely.
.
Anybody want to start it up with me?

and therefore make it irrelevant whether the sex worker was of age or not?

1. Statistics vary. About half of trafficked persons are trafficked for sex; the other half are trafficked for various forms of labor: field work, factory work, domestic work, drug mules, etc.. Trafficking, SW or otherwise, should be investigated and prosecuted and the victims liberated. If they went after TER for trafficking, the certification would get them off the hook and LE could go after REAL traffickers.
.
2. Underage employment in adult industries, even if it is voluntary (e.g., Tracy Lords), should not be allowed and the certification would protect TER and others from doing anything to help minors get around the prohibitions.
.
3. The opinion of many people here is that it is difficult and expensive for LE to go after indies to get one-at-a-time prostitution charges, let alone convictions. Seeing two people together (M + F or F + F (hi lopaw!)) is no proof of what went on BCD or that money was ever exchanged.  Local LE would still run their pre-election BP entrapment operations (fake ad, cheap motel room, a bunch of cops waiting for the take-down). Feds would still go after money laundering and tax evasion.  We would at least be back to where we were 6 months ago ... and still in a position to fight for decriminalization or legalization.
.
What's the saying? It's legal to give someone money. It's legal to give someone sex. But it's not legal to give someone sex for money.

Sorry, your having an agent isn’t protecting you when they will first proceed with the release of of your information the agent then they must provide your information or be prosecuted.  it’s not client lawyer privilege information , they will throw you under the bus, even lawyers confidentiality agreement are limited.

Agreed...I've seen many providers over the years because I found something in the reviews that told me they might be providing the type of experience for which I was looking. I've also crossed someone off my list of potential playmates because I read a review and it told me they WEREN'T into what I was into.

Going into a situation totally clueless as to what I might be in for? Not for me, thanks...I have enough faves established that I can fill my wants and needs without spending time, effort and money only to find out activities I want are not available.

Ultimately, the review system (flawed as it may be) is what drives business to providers.

who want to allow reviews by requiring proof of age and then giving them a PIN number.  Guys would ask for the PIN number when they see the provider and attach it to their review.  Then TER would only accept reviews with a correct PIN number for the girl being reviewed.  This not only addresses the issue of age verification by giving TER proactive control, but it also eliminates fake reviews because reviews without a correct PIN number would be rejected automatically at time of submission.  No more scamming TER for free VIP days.  TER revenues could rise as a result as the scammers would be forced to buy their VIP membership or else let I lapse.

Many, AMPs for example, do not interact with TER other than to read their reviews (if that) after the fact. They have no way of getting a PIN w/o joining up.
.
Likewise, some agency employees go the agency route in order to avoid the technology and admin overhead required if they were indy. Would agencies have a single PIN for all or request a separate PIN for each independent contractor worker?
.
How about two categories of reviews or a check box: "PIN Authenticated: [  ] Yes [  ] No"
.
